"Just give up already, flame brain! You can never beat me!" a boy with raven hair shouted. He was around 12 and covered in cuts and bruises. He was only wearing his black boxers, which was torn a little at the end.

"You wish! I can beat you anytime I want, ice bastard!" the other boy with pink hair yelled. He was in the same state as the raven hair boy but he was fully clothed. He looked no older than 11.

The two boys were currently fighting near a river. The fight had lasted for three full hours and neither of them was willing to back down. They were both on the verge of collapsing. Finally after a few minutes of fighting, they both fell on the ground at the same time.

"Ha! Y-you lose!" the pink hair boy, known as Natsu yelled.

"No, I di..didn't! You fell down first!" the raven, known as Gray argued.

"No, I didn't!"

"Yes, you did!"

"You wanna fight again?!" Natsu challenged, but then he broke out laughing which Gray soon joined in. Both boys sighed and stared up at the orange sky.

"Hey Gray?" Natsu broke the silence.

"Yeah?"

Natsu kept quiet for a while before asking. "Why do we fight?" He looked over to Gray who was still staring at the sky as if searching for the answer there.

A few minutes of silence went by and the only thing they could hear was the sound of the blowing wind.

Finally, Gray spoke. "Well, I don't know. For fun?" it was more like a question than an answer.

"Is it because you hate me?" Natsu asked with a hint sadness in his voice.

Gray frowned and slowly crawled over to where Natsu was laying. Natsu looked up in surprise.

"What are you-" his question was cut short when Gray hugged him.

"I don't hate you. We're just rivals." He mumbled and blushed. He then let go of the other boy and saw that his face was redder than his own.

"O-oh..W-well, that's good to know!" Natsu said with his famous grin. "Thank you for being my rival!"

Gray smiled "No problem! Thank you for being my rival too!"

With that said, they both laid next to each other and fell asleep.

Natsu: How did you even get that!?

Me:...Internet?

Gray: You weren't stalking us again, were you?

Me:..no?

Natsu: I need a restraining order!

Gray: So do I!

Me: Nooo! Please don't get a restraining order or I'll be stuck here alone :(

Natsu/Gray: Fine...
