"But he was just in here, perfectly fine, less than 10 minutes ago."

"He collapsed in the elevator." Alexx placed her hand on Ryan's neck and felt for a pulse. Finding none she removed her hand. She went to unzip the back more, when she noticed white dust in Ryan's hair. She grabbed an evidence bag and a little comb. She brushed some of the white powder into the bag and handed to Eric.

"Go figure out what this is." Eric nodded and went to the lab. Slowly everyone else left the morgue. Alexx stared and Ryan and ran through possibilities in her head. She was lost in thought when Eric entered.

"Blowfish poison." Alexx jumped.

"Blowfish poison?" Eric nodded. Alexx thought and then smiled.

"What?" Eric was curious.

"Ryan's not dead. This stuff slows breathing and heatrate down so much that the body mimics death. I just need to see how much he was exposed to and I can calculate when he'll wake up." Alexx started the blood work and came up with a time. "In two hours." Alexx thought for a second and then smiled. "In about two hours go get everyone and tell them it is urgent that the come to the morgue." Eric nodded and headed back to work. About two hours later, Horatio, Calliegh, Natalia, Eric, and Alexx stood in the morgue.

"What's so important Alexx?" Horatio looked sadly at Ryan's body and wondered why he had a pillow under his head and a blsnket over him. Alexx didn't answer him but placed a hand on Ryan's neck and felt the strong beating of his heart.

"I have a surprise for all of you." Just then Ryan began to stur. Everyone gasped. Alexx watched as Ryan opened his eyes. He looked confused.

"What happened?"

"You were exposed to Blowfis poison." Ryan's brow furrowed.

"Am I fine now?" Alexx smiled and nodded.

Everyone snapped out of their shock and rushed to give Ryan hugs.

"Don't ever scare us again."
