Sailor Lead Crow escorted Serenity back to the chamber she'd recently been occupying.
"It's shameful to even bring you to this room, but since she so eloquently laid claim I cannot go against it. Hopefully, she'll see the error of her ways and beg Queen Galaxia to remove her from this…filthy predicament." Crow insinuated snidely before shutting the door.
Serenity slowly exhaled before timidly glancing about the room. Upon perusal she decided she would rather not tarnish the beautiful furnishings and slowly limped to the private garden while rubbing her now useless arm.
Her glossy eyes grazed along the shrubbery before wandering skyward towards the the spectacular view. Splendid and shinning stars visible even during the day shone down on her dirtied body.
What had those wonderful evanescent beings been thinking by sending her here? She was clearly incapable of whatever duty she was supposed to be fulfilling. If anything she was making a bigger mess of things.
Serenity's ears registered the noise of heels clicking against the ground and tore her fading eyes away from the gods to stare numbly at the figure a few yards away from her.
The moment their eyes locked she was captured in their essence. Why did she have such an effect on her?
The trance was broken once the figure moved to come closer.
"Stay back." Serenity's voice sounded tired and gravely as the figure immediately stopped.
A bout of silence stretched for some time with the two of them staring at each other before Serenity's voice cracked the quiet.
"I apologize for causing so much trouble, however, it seems to me that you are also partially to blame."
The figure remained silent as Serenity continued.
"Although, I can't really place blame at your feet. For if it were not for your wondrous declaration I quite possibly would be in a cell right now."
Serenity's thought trailed off as she returned her gaze back to the sky, wandering what the claiming meant for the hundredth time. The figure came to stand next to her body, eyes fixed on the sky as well.
"It is not your fault. Apologies are unnecessary." The deep timbre of voice caused a trail of goose flesh to spread across Serenity's useless arm reminding her of how broken and dirty she still was.
"If you would permit it, I would like to express my apologies for not determining a better course of action when dealing with Galaxia. I had not thought how my favor would affect others perception of you and cause more strife."
The figures hand captured Serenity's dainty chin tilting it to face their own.
"And for that I am truly sorry."
Serenity could hear the remorse in the figures words as her azure eyes surrendered to that of midnight blue ones.
"It is also not your fault, Fighter."
Serenity's words were a soft whisper her breath intermingling with that of Fighters and catching at how very close they were, barely a kiss breath away. Fighter's midnight blues dilated as they roved over Serenity's face landing on her pert lips and lingering, before slowly releasing her chin and taking a step back.
"If you would allow it I would like to attempt something…" Fighter's word vibrated through Serenity with their close distance before she tucked her chin in an affirmation.
"Close your eyes."
As Serenity followed Fighter's instructions she felt a gloved hand caress her neck and slide to her shoulder as she felt the pressure of a forehead pressed to her own. Her heart rate accelerated maddeningly.
Suddenly she was back in a place of light and again bodiless. Her being felt out the space and found a red orb of light very familiar to her from when she was in the mind space before. Hesitantly she reached out to it and was met with an extraordinarily warm feeling.
It reminded her of so many things; A vast field of over grown grass by a river, the excitement that comes with a fresh storm as lightning strikes, the musk of a humid forest with the recent rainfall, the joy of a swarm of butterflies fluttering about, the thrill of free falling from the heavens, and something very similar to how she felt about all her loved ones left behind.
Very suddenly she felt unbearably hot and that breathing was incredibly difficult. When she thought she may not be able to bear it any longer she was released from the realm with an explosion of light.
Serenity blinked rapidly as she began to get her bearings back into the world of colors and bodies. She no longer felt the pain that had wracked her body from her earlier duel. Peering down at her arm curiously she found it healed and moved it easily enough. She still had a thin layer of dirt and sweat, but found all injuries mercifully gone.
She knew she had just shared minds again with Fighter, she should be frightened or even upset at doing something she felt to be so intimate, but found she was only grateful. She knew that all the warmth, all the things she had felt must be Fighter's very essence, their being.
As her mind began to sort through everything she found that she was still in a slight embrace and flitted her gaze up to her healer only to be locked in the eyes of a very different Fighter, but one that she recognized all the same.
"Gah! What happened?!" Serernity expelled covering her face while blushing furiously at what she had just witnessed.
Fighter was standing there looking slightly dazed as their fingers reverently ran across their now very bare chest. The chest garment having busted apart once their transformation took place. Serenity peaked through her fingers at the very now male Fighter. Their shorts so much tighter than before and about ready to burst as a light sheen of sweat glistened across a very toned chest.
Serenity's blushed deepened as Fighter's eyes spied her own through her fingers, and she lightly cursed under her breath as the corner of Fighter's lip curled upwards at her embarrassment.
"I suppose our minds touching triggered my Gemini form."
Fighter eyed her body up and down making Serenity fidget uncomfortably before nodding.
"Your injuries appear to be much better, although a soak looks to be in order. Seeing as my attire is halfway gone already would you care to join me?"
"PPFPFPFTT! OF COURSE NOT! That's Indecent!" Serenity screamed indignantly as her face shaded more colors of red than she felt possible.
"Pity."
Fighter deliberately turned from her causing her very compromised shorts to rip exposing the top of a very defined ass making Serenity shriek again while Fighter continued to make a slow exit back to their chambers, a rich rumble shaking their frame on the way.
Serenity cursed vehemently at Fighter's retreating figure before turning around and marching to the opposite side of the garden and dramatically throwing herself in a heap by a patch of dewy red flowers to wait out Fighter's probable time consuming soak.
Throwing her now useful arm over her face she let out a long insufferable sigh before promptly drifting off into a light nap.
