Author's Note: Bet y'all thought I forgot about this whole fanfiction dot net thing, didn't ya? Well you're only half right! I didn't really forget, college just took out my motivation for writing. So hopefully this will be the last chapter of this one, not sure how much longer Dauntless Titans is going to be, I'm not sure if I'll pick up All Too Well again but I have a tie in fic that takes place in that AU and I'll finish Mar'i's Escape if there's interest. Anyway, that's enough from me, I've kept you waiting for long enough, on with the show!

DISCLAIMER: Nope. Still don't own Teen Titans.

Chapter 4

"Raven? Raven?! RAVEN!"

Starfire frantically searched the living room, desperate to find her empath best friend. Tears fell freely down her cheeks as she began to realize Raven had vanished and she had no way of finding her. Robin went over to Starfire and pulled her in for a hug, gently rubbing her back.

"It's gonna be okay, Star. We'll find her, I promise. I don't know how, but we will."

At that moment, Beast Boy began to stir.

"Ugh… What happened?"

Robin's stance became protective, ready to attack the changeling if he tried to hurt Starfire.

"Just stay away from us, Beast Boy."

Beast Boy put his hands up.

"Whoa, whoa! Calm down, dude. I- I think I'm okay now." He sat up and looked around the room. "Where's Raven?"

Starfire sniffled and buried her face in Robin's shoulder. Robin rubbed her back and raised an eyebrow at Beast Boy from under his mask.

"You mean, you don't remember?"

Beast Boy shook his head.

"The last thing I remember is you and Starfire going down to the basement to fix the circuit breaker… Then… Nothing. Why have you guys been acting so weird all day? And where's Raven?"

Robin sighed and ran his hand through his hair. Starfire looked up at him and wiped her eyes.

"It looks as though we have much of the explaining to do."

Robin and Starfire sat on the couch and began explaining what had happened that day, from Beast Boy attacking Starfire in the shower, to Raven's inexplicable disappearance. Beast Boy just sat there, awestruck, unable to comprehend how he had done such terrible things.

"Oh, my God… I'm so sorry Starfire; you know I would never really hurt you."

Starfire nodded.

"You were not yourself. It is the o and kay."

"And Raven…" The changeling put his face in his hands. "She saved me…"

"We have yet to find a way to save her. Everything that was happening to you was in your head. And the only person we know of that is capable of getting inside of another's head is Raven."

Inside somebody's head…

Starfire's words brought back a vivid memory to Beast Boy.

Raven was snarling at him, nothing out of the ordinary. Except he really deserved it this time.

"That mirror is a portal to my mind! NOT A TOY!"

Portal to my mind...

Beast Boy leaped up off of the floor.

"I know how to save Raven!"

He turned to leave the room.

"Wait, where are you going?!"

"Where few men have gone before… Raven's room."

Robin and Starfire exchanged a confused glance before turning back to Beast Boy.

"Uh… Beast Boy? Perhaps you should change your clothes before embarking on this rescue mission?"

Beast Boy looked down to discover that his uniform was tattered from his pseudo-shift into the Beast.

"Oh… Yeah, that'd probably be a good idea."

"Yeah, and maybe you should let us come with you. I think it's going to take some serious teamwork to save Raven."

"Okay, you're both right. But listen, where we're going to be going is probably going to be insanely dangerous. Take an hour to get yourselves prepared and then we'll meet in Raven's room."

The three Titans separated, Beast Boy going to his own room and Robin and Starfire going to Robin's room.

Robin immediately sat down at his computer to research how to banish demons. After 20 minutes he leaned back and sighed in defeat.

"Nothing I have found sounds even remotely helpful. I mean, burning sage probably works, but where do we burn it? In the tower? And then leave it unattended, that's a fire hazard. Burn it wherever we're going? What if we can't? And what if we have to actually fight the demon, we can't touch it. Guess that means I'll have to bring plenty of birdarangs…"

At that moment, Robin realized how eerily quiet Starfire was being. He turned to face his girlfriend and found her standing by the door, leaning up against the wall and tapping her index fingers together.

"Hey, Star. Are you listening?"

"Hmm? Oh, yes, yes… Of course I am… Fire hazards and all of that…"

Robin's face softened into that little smile he always saved for her, demons becoming his second priority. He got up out of his chair, walked over to Starfire and took one of her hands in his.

"Hey. What's got you thinking so hard?"

She looked at him and gave him a small smile.

"It is nothing. I am merely… Frightened by the impending danger of our upcoming mission."

"Really?" She nodded. "Cause, that's not your 'frightened' tick. Your frightened tick is wanted to be as close to someone you think is not as scared as you as possible, usually me. Shrinking against the wall and tapping your fingers together is your 'I've got something big on my mind but I'm nervous to say it out loud' tick. So, tell me. What's bothering you?"

"I love you."

She blurted it out quickly and immediately covered her mouth with her free hand. She watched Robin's eyes grow wide from under his mask.

"What?"

"I- I am sorry! Perhaps it is too soon to be saying such things and I understand on Earth it is customary for the boyfriend to say it to the girlfriend first but… I have always had the feelings for you and then ever since we have begun the dating, my feelings have been growing and with the events of the past few days…" the Tamaranian's eyes began to fill with tears as the Teen Wonder continued to stare at her. "I am sorry. It is too soon to be saying such things. I will finish preparations for our mission in my own room."

She turned to leave but Robin gently grabbed her arm and pulled her in for a brief, but deep and passionate kiss. She wrapped her arms around his shoulders and his fingers tangled themselves in her hair. When the two teens finally broke apart, they touched their foreheads together and Robin smiled before whispering.

"I love you too, Star."

Starfire sniffled and smiled. Robin wiped a stray tear from her cheek.

"Why does it sound as if we are saying goodbye?"

"Because we're young, and we're scared cause we don't know what's gonna happen next. But I promise you, no matter what happens on this mission, we're gonna get through it together. And I think if Beast Boy knows what he's doing, we have a great chance of saving Raven. We are going to be okay. I swear to you, as long as we're together, we'll be okay." She sniffled and smiled. "We better go meet Beast Boy."

Fully equipped and dressed in fresh uniforms, Robin and Starfire followed Beast Boy into Raven's room, watching him curiously as he walked over to her vanity and picked up a strange looking mirror.

"Okay, come here. We have to look into it together."

Not feeling the need to question anything strange in Raven's room, Robin and Starfire came up behind Beast Boy and watched as four familiar red eyes faded in onto the glass of the mirror, seeming to call them in as the room around them faded, the mirror pulling them inside of its world.

When the three Titans woke in the desolate wasteland of Nevermore, a familiar face in a light blue cloak stood before them.

"Well done Beast Boy. Some of the others were uncertain if you would remember the mirror. Robin, Starfire. Allow me to welcome you to Nevermore. It is a realm of Raven's mind where her emotions are personified and where she often retreats to meditate. I am Wisdom."

Starfire and Robin stood slightly stunned as they processed what they'd been told, allowing Beast Boy to do all the talking.

"Wisdom, what's going on? This place looks too… Calm for everything that's been going on. Where are the others? Where's Raven? Where's Slenderman?"

"The demon has been battling Raven since it invaded this realm. We split up in order to stop him from discovering us, fearing that he would try to capture us to defeat Raven. But with the three of you here now, I am confident the demon can be banished from this place."

Finally, Robin spoke up.

"We're here to do anything we can. Tell us where to start; how can we find the others?"

"I know what we need to do." Beast Boy's voice took on the same authority he'd used during the Titan's tenure fighting the Brotherhood of Evil. "We have to split up. Robin, you look for Brave and… Timid would probably trust you the most. You're looking for a green cloak and a grey cloak. Starfire… Go with Wisdom to look for happy; she's the one in the pink cloak. I'll look for Lazy and Passion. Since all of the different Ravens know where our Raven is, follow your Ravens to her but don't approach until all nine of us are there. Sound like a plan?"

Robin wore a smile as if he was Beast Boy's proud older brother.

"Let's go save Raven."

Raven had been fending off Slenderman for what felt like hours. She was growing weaker by the minute and she knew Slenderman could tell he was about to have the upper hand.

"Foolish daughter of Trigon, I'll allow you one last chance. Join me and together we will conquer this plane."

"I'll never surrender to you! I'm. Not. Like. You! Azarath Metrion Zinthos!"

The dark aura that erupted from her hands faded quickly under the blow from Slenderman's tentacles.

"Then you shall perish with the rest of these pathetic mortals. Gah!"

Just as Slenderman was about to deliver his finishing blow, he was struck from behind by a burst of green light.

"You will do no such thing!"

"Let our friend go!"

"You're not welcome here anymore! Titans, go!"

Robin, Starfire and Beast Boy leapt into action, commanding Slenderman's attention with a flurry of exploding disks, starbolts and slashing tiger claws, providing the perfect distraction for the Ravens to gather into one, powerful white-cloaked Raven.

Robin, Starfire and Beast Boy wore the Slenderman down while a fully recharged Raven gathered every ounce of strength she had, aiming to banish the Slenderman once and for all. As the demon reached it's last leg, Raven stepped forward to make her move.

"As the daughter of Trigon, conqueror of universes and destroyer of worlds, I banish you from this realm! Azarath, Metrion, ZINTHOS!"

There was another blinding flash of white light mingled with a demonic scream of anguish.

"This is not the last of me!"

When the dust had settled, Slenderman was gone. Raven stood before them, supported by the personification of her emotions.

"Raven!"

The other Titans rushed over to embrace their friend and for once, the Halfling didn't fight them off, instead opting to give them a weak hug in return.

"Come on guys, let's go home."

Epilogue

"So Beast Boy really set his laptop on fire? I mean, I can't say I blame him after all that happened, but really?"

With Cyborg still in Steele City, Robin and Starfire called him the morning after the Slenderman's banishment.

"Yeah, Raven told him he could just reboot the whole thing and it'd be fine as long as he deleted the game and never opened it again, but he opted to just set the whole thing on fire instead. I told him we're not buying him a new one."

Cyborg shook his head as he laughed.

"Yep, sounds like our grass stain is back to normal. Well minus the whole kissing Raven thing."

"Shhh, we know not yet if they have had the discussion about their relationship. We do not wish to be jinxing it!"

Meanwhile, out on the shore of the island, Raven walked over to Beast Boy who was skipping rocks. He smiled at her as she sat down next to him.

"Hey. Did you get some good sleep?"

"Yeah, yeah, it was… It was fine."

With a nod, Beast Boy skipped one more rock before taking a deep breath to look her in the eyes.

"So, uh… We should probably talk about…"

"I know."

"Oh. Well… Was it just 'cause you thought it would save me or…?"

Raven sighed and shook her head.

"It was just to save you. But that doesn't mean I don't… That I haven't thought about…"

"Raven?"

"Yeah, Beast Boy?"

"Do you wanna… Hang out later? Dinner and a movie on me?"

A small smile crossed Raven's lips as she nodded, causing Beast Boy to break into a huge grin. "Sure, Beast Boy. That sounds… Really nice."

"Awesome! Kiss on it to make it official?" There went Raven's smile. "Too far?"

"Yep."

"That's fair."
