It was Friday and 3 pm in the afternoon, Sam is going to meet Carly in the apartment so both of them can go together. While waiting, Carly is preparing her gown for the party tonight. She didn't notice that Freddie hugged her from behind.
"Hmmmm can you stay here and dress here instead?" Freddie said while kissing her neck
"You have to wait and it's a surprise" Carly said leaning on Freddie.
Suddenly Carly turned to Freddie and started kissing him. Freddie slowly pushes Carly on the bed as they continue to kiss. He was already kissing Carly's neck and she is enjoying it until they were snapped back to reality when someone knock loudly on the door.
"Freddie, someone's at the door" Carly said
"They just have to wait" Freddie says as he continues to kiss her neck
"Freddie please"
"Oh alright but you owe me tonight"
"Fine"
Carly straitened her outfit and went to answer the door. She found out that Sam was ready.
"Hey Sam"
"Hey Cupcake we're gonna be late"
"Sure let me get my things"
So Carly went back to the room and quickly get her things.
"Ready?" Sam ask
They were about to leave when Freddie went to the door to kiss Carly on the cheek
"I'll see you later" Freddie said
"Woah Fredward what happend to you, was I disturbing a moment"
"As a matter in fact-" Freddie was interrupted
"You didn't" Carly said
"Mmmm looks like it judging from Freddie's hair and shirt, you two did something before I got here"
"Fine but you get the picture.. Cmon we're gonna be late"
"Bye you two" Freddie says
"Bye see ya later"
"Bye Freddork oh and Gibby will come here in an hour" Sam said
"Okay"
The two girls went to the Salon to do their make up and hair. After like 2 hours the girls were done and they went to the hotel and put on their gowns.
"Carly can you help me on my dress?"
"Sure, help me on mine as well"
"Okay"
So the two girls helped each other on their dress. After an hour they went to the party.
Freddie and Gibby went inside to the venue.
"What's taking our girls so long?" Freddie asked
"Maybe they are still preparing themselves" Gibby suggested
Freddie was getting worried so he took a glass of wine to relax him down. After 10 minutes, he notice to beautiful ladies descending the stairs.
The brown haired vixen wore an ivory coloured mask with diamonds framming the sides, a silver flower perched up on its side; whilst her equally beautiful blonde haired friend wore a black mask with soft chiffon and black ribbons arranged exquistely on its left.
Suddenly the two women approached them.
"Hey you, are you available?" Carly teased
"I'm sorry I'm taken by lovely lady name Carly"
"You look beautiful tonight"
Carly was dressed in a long, black sweetheart dress with a long slit up to her thigh, showcasing her legs which seemee to go on forever. The neckline was framed with silver, going down to her navel. Her long brown hair was tied up into a high bun to the side, pearl earrings and she wore Freddie's necklace.
"Thank you, you don't look too bad yourself" Carly said
"Hey you're not the only one who is here you know"
"You look beautiful too Sam"
Sam wore a black empire dress with a silver bodice, her hair was swept to the side and curled slightly. Silver tear drop earrings adorned her ears whilst a matching pair of silver shoes graced her slender feet.
"Hey only I can say that to her" Gibby says
"Fine"
"You look beautiful honey" Gibby says
"Thank you Gibs" Sam says as she gave him a peck on the cheek
The program went smoothly as they planned and after the announcement of the program they went to have their dance. Carly and Freddie went slow dancing as well as Gibby and Sam. After 30 mins., Freddie led Carly to the balcony.
"Alone at last" Freddie says as he was going to kiss Carly
They kissed like for 30 seconds then Freddie hugged her from behind and Carly leaned on him. Both of them slowly swayed in the balcony
"You know I can stay like this forever" Freddie says
"Yeah me too"
They fell silent then Freddie proposed something to her.
"Carly"
"Hmmm?"
"Come live with me"
"What?" Carly says calmly
"Well I want you to be with me in San Francisco and I promise to take care of you everyday" Freddie says as he touches her cheek
"Oh Freddie that's sweet and I would love that... But i can't" Carly slowly removes Freddie's hand
"Why? Carly I love you so much and you love me-"
"I have this email Freddie from my boss saying that i have this award and a great promotion"
"Well that's wonderful news but-"
"You don't get it Freddie! I need to leave you again" Carly says in the verge of tears but she stops it because her makeup might be ruined "if I accept this promotion there is a slight chance that I won't come back here ever"
Freddie was shocked "You're not thinking to take this job Carly?"
"Well I am Freddie, I waited long enough for this promotion"
Freddie walked away a little bit and he ran his hand to his hair. Carly was about to cry and she covered her mouth with her hands
"Why Carly! I waited for you long enough and you're gonna leave me for some stupid promotion"
Carly is crying "Is not stupid Freddie, I waited for this promotion-"
Freddie holds her hand "Carly please, don't I deserve be happy with you?"
Carly was removed her mask and she cried "I'm sorry Freddie I'm truly am, maybe we were not meant for each other"
She suddenly let go of his hand and ran away. Freddie stayed in the balcony feeling frustrated and he started to think.
Why did i meet her now? Freddie thought to himself and he gazed through the stars. While he was gazing, he remembered something that Carly said about her wishing that they should be together then he realized that he made his wish as well. He quickly went to find Carly but he can't find her, so he approached Gibby and Sam who was sitting in the table
"Sam, Gibby where's Carly"
Sam and Gibby exchanged glances and suddenly Sam spoke
"Freddie... She left"
"Left? what do you mean she left?"
"She's gone back to London, she bought a ticket online last night"
Freddie was shocked and disappointed but Sam gave him a look
"But don't worry Freddie she won't get away from us easily"
"Yeah cmon we'll take my car"
"Thanks you guys"
As the trio were about to leave, his boss approaches
"Freddie what's the rush?" he asked
"Sir, Freddie is gonna lose his love life if he doesn't go now" Gibby says
"Go on Freddie you deserve to be happy"
"Thank you Sir" Freddie says
So they went to the Airport to chase after Carly.
Carly was sitting in the lounge to wait for her flight. While she was waiting, she checked her bag if she left anything. Then she noticed the picture that was taken from the amusement park. She and Freddie were so happy that time, she hold onto to the picture and tears were starting to well up in her cheeks. Suddenly her flight is called.
"Flight 36a going to London is now boarding" said the announcer
She put the picture in her bag and went to the airplane without looking back. Am I doing the right thing? as she thought to herself.
The trio are making their way to the airport as soon as they can. As they arrived Freddie hurriedly got off the car but Sam tripped
"Sam" Freddie was about to offer his hand but Sam refused.
"Go on I'll be fine, Go to your woman"
So Freddie went to the counter and quickly went to the terminal. But when he arrived, she was nowhere to be found. Freddie knelt to the ground letting his tears escape. Sam and Gibby followed and they discovered it was too late.
Sam knelt beside Freddie "It's okay Freddie, I'll miss her too"
"I loved her so much" Freddie says in a hushed tone
So the trio went home and Gibby offered him a ride home. Freddie went to his apartment and he noticed a luggage in his bedroom, then he quickly went to the balcony and he was shocked to see who it was.
"Carly?"
"Hey"
Without hesitation Freddie approached Carly and kissed her on the lips, she kissed back. After like 30 seconds they separate.
"What I don't understand-" Freddie says
"Listen to me Freddie, I'm sorry if i leave you countless times but I realized that maybe this will be the last time I'll ever make that same mistake again" Carly's tears begins to fall "Maybe destiny gave us another chance to be together and telling us that this is our second chance. I love you Freddie, 'we're destined to be together. So iwas hoping if you would forgive me-"
Freddie shut her up with a kiss. "Even if you make countless mistake, I will always be here to forgive you"
Freddie and Carly leaned to each other until there fore heads touch.
"Wait how about your job in London?"
"Nah, besides i hear there's an opening in San Francisco for a radio host"
Freddie lifted her up in the air and twirled her around
"I love you Carly, always and Forever"
"I love you too Freddie and we'll always be destined to be together"
