You monster… No Riven you are the monster… You killed them all… You lead them here and could not even help them… I was just following orders… Muhahahahaha you are such a simple soul… AAWWWEE Stop it, leave them be… What, I thought your will was broken… For Noxus!
Sorin shot up from his slumber, breathing heavily, his mind raced to figure out what was real and what was a dream. No fire, fumes, or battle around me… check, Clothes, body, bedroom all in one piece… Check, Master Yi at the foot of my bed… what the hell?!
All Sorin could see was the small reflection of light coming off the master swordsman's helm. He knew from his many encounters with this countryman that Yi was not one to cross and that everything he did was purposeful. Sorin spoke, "Master Yi, to what do I owe this visit?" Knowing full well what the sword master might say or do.
Yi cleared his throat, "To what reason do I owe a traitor any explanation?" He said in a low, calm voice. Sorin could feel anger radiating from the master "Sorin, you know as well as anyone in Ionia what Noxus has done to us more than once." Still never moving his focus from the much younger ninja.
"Yi, I" Sorin was cut off.
Yi put his hand in the air, "Master Yi to you, young one."
Sorin knew he had to play ball at this point so beginning again, "Master Yi," he said slowely and as respectfully as he could, "wrong is wrong and nothing can change that but…" he paused and then continued, "but, what is right needs to be done and one wrong for another is not justice or balance." He finished.
"Do not lecture me boy…" Master Yi started, gripping the end of Sorin's bed. Sorin could hear the footboard creaking in protest to Yi's furious grip. "I know balance must be maintained but accepting our enemy that took all but life itself away from our country." Yi finished; taking off his helm and throwing it to the ground.
Sorin, and most of the world but say a few doctors, didn't know what Elder Ionian's face even looked like. His helm was his home, and there it always stayed on his head, but not this time. Yi made a move to fast for Sorin to follow. Suddenly Sorin was inches from Yi's Face. Yi had light blond hair but there was a scar from around his hairline down and around his left eye and nose. There seemed to be multiple puncture wounds on his forehead. He could imagine that Yi was a very handsome man before but now what marked his once friend seemed like something you would never want to live through.
"See what your Noxian is capable of…" Yi said with hate pouring from every inch of his body. "The last thing I ever got to see with my own eyes was the beheading of my village elder, mentor, and father." Throwing Sorin off the side of his bed. The young ninja compensated and performed a hand spring to his feet.
Sorin, looking at the forefront of Yi's mind, could see the Noxian he had mentioned. "Master Yi that was not Riven and you know that hearts can find their way." But it was for naught as Yi continued with his one way conversation.
"You know nothing of the world," Yi yelled, "and I am not going to let another travesty go forgiven without retribution." Yi now starting to reach for his sword but not unsheathing it quite yet.
"Yi don't do this." Sorin pleaded still on his feet but taking a defensive stance. "I don't want a Paragon of Ionia to fall this day." Yi chuckled at the thought.
"You think that I will be distracted so easily or deterred from what must be done" said Yi picking up his helm. "You are bringing a cancer into my beloved home land and I will not let you continue." flipping it back on to his head.
Slipping his gloves from his hands Sorin prepared himself for the worst. "Master Yi, I will only ask once more for you to find your wisdom and not bring yourself any dishonor." while charging his chakra in order to maybe counter a single attack from the master of the blade.
"You and your master are fools" he said with more venom in his words than the previous, "I will do what is best and by my sword will Ionia be cleaved of this infection." With that Yi unsheathed his sword and readied a Wuju strike but something happened. A protective shield came and surrounded Sorin and then the next second Shen was besides Sorin with blades drawn.
"Stand down." Shen commanded now dashing towards YI, "Relinquish your weapons and be still."
"Leave us be! I have a traitor to judge." Yi said with a very cynical tone, "He has brought filth into our society."
"You know that is not for you to decide," Shen retorted back.
Then a window broke and something hit Yi square in the face. Then Lee Sin came flying into the room, striking him in the gut hard enough for Yi to lose consciousness. Now over the unconscious body of his once best friend Lee said with a smirk, "Sona got to us as soon as possible when she heard your call for help. You'd better keep that one around." Even on Shen you could see his mask positioned as if to enjoy a brief moment.
Sorin picked up his gloves and Yi's sword. Shen and Lee picked up Yi and brought him out to a very perplexed and frustrated Irelia. Yi at this point had regained his senses and was still angry about the resent addition to the Ionia culture.
"Why Yi?" Irelia asked with concern and disappointment in her voice. "Why did you commit such a dishonorable act when there was no reason to do so?"
Yi whipped his had around so that his helm released itself from his head and he looked straight at Irelia, "you know better than most as to why I feel as I do and I will never deny my heart what is best to protect my country from that." looking and spitting in the direction on Riven who was keeping back behind Akali and Karma.
"You bring this upon yourself Master YI," said the captain of the guard, "Karma, how dose the High Counsel want us to handle this?"
"As for now, Yi has not harmed anyone," answer the enlightened one, "I will have to see if the league will allow Ionia to talk full charge of the punishment. Till then, take Yi to the holding room so we can get more information."
"That is Master Yi to you, Karma." Yi interrupted while she was trying to finish, "taking the side of this sad, vile, pathetic excuse of a human be…"
*Slap* Karma's hand was firm and charged with no small amount of chakra, "Until I can get more information you are stripped of your titles as both Master and Champion." Yi's one good eye burning with hate looking back at her, "and you are to remain in holding till the underlying problem can be handled." She finished with a stern look. Never breaking eye contact she ordered, "Shen… Lee... Take him away and take Udyr with you. Make sure he does not escape."
They both nodded and soon were off to drag Udyr from his morning meditation.
"As for you Sorin." Karma calming her voice now, "My orders still stand from yesterday." with a smile she finish, "Your function is to teach and prepare Riven to take her place amongst our people."
With a bow Sorin answered, "Yes My Lady, I will not disappoint or fail you."
Karma with an easing mind, "I am sure you will be a good teacher." Looking at Akali, "Akali you are to make sure you are just as involved and that there are no distractions." Akali bowed but did not say anything. It was usual for a Kinko to say few words. Karma then looked to Riven but was taken aback when Riven spoke first.
"My lady, I know much has happened but my I request another person to help me." Riven bowing a little deeper than she had done before, asking for pardon to speaking out of turn.
"Riven who taught you our custom already?" Karma had an idea but wanted to know.
"The Maven of the Strings brought me into the light, My Lady." Riven answered with a smile.
"If the Maven is so willing I will make it her charge as well." Looking at Sona, mentally linking in, "Do you take this charge my little Maven?" Sona answered back with a nod and smile that she could not hide. "Good, friends are always the best form of education." Everyone but the four took their leave, Kennen to go train by himself or just trying to look good for Poppy. No one ever talked about it out loud but he is very smitten by her and Karma was off to talk to the High Counsel.
"Well, I am going to go take a shower and be back in a second." Sorin breaking the silence that had fallen upon the group. "You ladies going to be ok without me?" Sorin smirked; winking at Sona.
"From what I just saw, you are the one that needs to watch out Sorin." Akali jested, "Never know who is going to catch you with your pants down when you wake up in the morning." Finishing with a smug look and pointing her thumbs at the two champions to her left and right.
Riven blushed and turned to go back into her room. Sona looked at Akali with her hands crossed, Akali put her palms in the air, "Kidding…" She smiled but Sona still not looking at all happy.
Sorin just turned around and started to laugh. "This day just could not get any better."
Sona shouting in his mind, "Shut up you idiot. Just go get a shower you smell terrible." Still looking at Akali with a death glare.
Sorin rubbing his head and still moving to his door answered, "Yes dear," small smile on his face, "anything else?"
Sona replied, "Yep, just a heads up, somebody likes youuuu." With a small mental giggle.
