Chapter One
It had been another successful day on the set of the international hit series, Winx Club, after a long shot they had finally managed to film the girls' final underwater scene for the season and tomorrow morning they would film the final scene of the season. And Bloom couldn't be more excited, ever since Rainbow, their parent company had teamed up with power house Nickelodeon. Not only had their series returned to North American channels, but new products had been made; everything from dolls with articulation, DVDs, books and best of all Happy Meal toys. Happy Meal toys! Just thinking about the overwhelming success of her series made Bloom grin bigger and brighter before. The only thing that could make her happier is if they decided to kill Sky off and she would no longer have to pretend to be in love with a man who spend all his free time looking into a mirror at himself. But hey, that is why they call it acting, right?
As the red-head strolled off set and towards her private dressing room (after all she was the star, why should she have to share?) to free herself of her large floppy wings and itchy Sirenix outfit, she noticed an un-familiar scene taking place a short ways away from craft services. The typically calm, hippie like Tecna appeared to be freaking out. Unlike her character, Tecna actually loathed technology and refused to use it. Whenever she started to rant on and on, Bloom tended to space off and check for split-ends. "OMG! OMG!"
Bloom stopped in her tracks, "Um, Tecna what's wrong? Did someone not recycle an old script?" She inquired with an over the top sigh.
"Noooo, even worse!"
Bloom raised her eyebrow, "Oh-kay…?"
Out of nowhere overly emotional Stella emerged from her dressing room, tissues at hand, eyes and cheeks red and her nose running. "It-it is horrible!" She cried nearly hysterical. "Our show! Our dear sweet show!"
"Stella for heaven's sake, calm down!" Yelled Flora as she covered her ears. After putting her hands on her hips, she turned to Bloom and explained everything she knew about what was going on, "I was minding my own business and heading to my dressing room to get out of the fifty shades of pink, next thing I knew Stella started crying like there is no tomorrow." Annoyed by the on-going crying, Flora covered her ears, "Someone shut her up!"
"Stella, what's wrong?" Bloom finally asked.
"Ratings. Our ratings Bloom!"
