This is also a bonus prompt for Nalu week and this time with the theme "travel". It's short but kinda fluffy. Oh and I do not own Fairy Tail *sob sob*

Natsu Dragneel had never been too fond of travelling. Mainly because of the fact that most travels involved transportation which always resulted with him trying to keep whatever content he had in his stomach and pray to Mavis that he wouldn't die just yet. But that didn't mean he never travelled, quite the opposite actually.

Natsu travelled far and wide with his blue exceed companion Happy on missions and in search for his dragon father Igneel.

You could say that Natsu liked to see new places but he never enjoyed the way to them. That was until he met Lucy Heartfilia.

Lucy who had been locked up in that big mansion for her first 16 years of life couldn't get enough of travelling.

She wanted to see the world and get inspiration to her novel. Lucy would always tell him that the way to a destination was a part of the adventure too.

When Lucy wanted to go on a mission or just a small travel it was always Natsu who ended up accompanying her. He said it was because they were partners but the truth was that he could never allow anyone else to look after her.

Oh and he would never allow anyone else to sleep in her lap like he did.

"Hey Natsu?" Lucy's soft voice rang out and the dragonslayer looked up at his girlfriends beautiful face from his position in her lap.

"What is it Luce?" He gave her the best grin he could muster, being on a train with his blasted motion sickness and all that stuff.

"I came to think about how you're not complaining when I want to travel anymore." Leave it to Lucy to somehow read his mind without even knowing that she had done it.

"Well... I cant really let anyone else travel with you since they would never look out for you as well as I do." He said but quickly shut his mouth as a wave of nausea hit him like a brick. Lucy stroked his hair to soothe him while she waited for him to continue.

"And besides, if I go on travels with you I can have my head in your lap like this and it's really comfy." That comment earned him a small peck on the lips and a laugh from Lucy as she ordered him to go to sleep since he was too mushy to be completely well.

Natsu grinned as he felt Lucy's fingers stroke his hair again. Before she came into his life he hated travels because of the transportation, but now he could totally endure it if it meant that he could spend some time with her like this.
