Wow. I know it's been a long ass time. I'm ashamed. I found this on my laptop. Thought I'd post it. Hope I can get this story rolling again.

Kakashi discretely wiped his palm on his pants, before holding it out. "It's nice to finally meet you," he said, his hand trembling slightly. Sasuke stared at his hand, unsure of how to respond to that. The relationship they had was definitely worthy of more than a formal handshake. Honestly, he would have preferred to give him a kiss, but his brother was standing there.

"I know," he replied, holding his arms out and slowly closing the distance between them. A hug seemed to be the most appropriate move. He pressed his face against the man's shoulder, pleased with the smell of his cologne. "You smell nice," he mumbled into the soft fabric of Kakashi's navy sweater.

Kakashi smiled at the compliment and slowly wrapped his arms around Sasuke's smaller frame. "Thank you."

Itachi cleared his throat, making Sasuke turn his head back, refusin to let the man go just yet. 'I'll be in the kitchen,' he mouthed. They stared at eachother for a few more seconds, until Sasuke nodded. He knew what Itachi meant by that look. It meant, 'Ill be in the kitchen eavesdropping, call me if things take a turn for the worst.' He was glad Itachi was there. It made this whole thing not seem completely dangerous and idiotic.

"Maybe we should sit down," he suggested, getting another whiff of the man, before pulling away and sitting down on the couch. Kakashi nodded and smiled in response. He sat down a foot away from the teen on the couch. "You look nice," Sasuke added, unsure of how to get the conversation rolling.

Kakashi cleared his throat and placed his palm on the teen's knee. "You look beautiful."

Sasuke's eyes widened and he let out a nervous chuckle. He'd never had a man call him beautiful. "Thanks?" he replied, looking at the man with slight amusement.

Kakashi thought explaining himself would wipe that strange look off the teenager's face. It was a strange thing to say afterall. "You have soft feminine features...it's nice...and that sounded creepy. I'm sorry."

Sasuke shook his head and turned to face him. "It's okay. It wasn't that creepy. You're uh...you look good too. Different than I expected. Kind of surprising," he said, smiling at the man and taking in his facial features. His hair was grey, but he could tell he wasn't that old. He looked a bit tired though, and his left eye was a bit...

"You're surprised that I'm not some hideous creature?" He asked.

"No...yes. Well...on the phone you sai-"

"Oh. I know. Don't worry about that right now. We'll discuss that later."

Sasuke nodded and the two just stared at each other. Awkward silence. Very awkward silence. Sasuke bit his lip and tried to think of something to say. This was his worst fear. He was hardly the conversationalist. He stood up slowly from the couch and excused himself. Glancing over his shoulder, he saw Kakashi staring intently at him. Forcing a smile, he hurried into the kitchen.

"What do I do?" He whispered to his older brother, who was sitting at the kitchen island going at the nearly empty tub of strawberry ice cream. Itachi sighed and put his spoon down. He wanted to suggest to kick the man out and be done with it, but he could see the interest in his little brother's eyes. His brother's sexual orientation was not surprising to him, but Itachi never pinned his brother as liking someone like that older man. What was wrong with the boys at his high school? Then again, they were rather immature and idiotic. Itachi knew that Sasuke was too smart for his own good just like himself. However, Sasuke was naive when it came to life outside of academics.

"Why don't you watch a movie. Take some pressure off you having to talk. "

Sasuke was out the kitchen before he could even finish. He smiled at the man and sat back down on the couch. "I hope my brother didn't say anything offensive when he answered the door...wanna watch a movie? We can go for a walk? He can be a little overprotective sometimes. It's a bit obnoxious. You want a tour of the house...or my room?"

Kakashi shook his head at the blabbering and examined Sasuke's face. He looked so much better in person. He looked so damn young too though. It made him feel like such a sick pervert. He tried to push the age difference to the back of his mind, but it couldn't be ignored. His mannerisms, his voice, his appearance, the way he spoke...all oozing adolescence. Not now. Even kissing him would seem inappropriate. Could he really go one year without touching him? He'd have to do it. What other choice did he have?

"Is something wrong?" Sasuke asked, taking a step back.

Kakashi blinked a few times, and put a smile on his face. "I'm sorry. My mind wandered for a moment."

Sasuke nodded and tucked some hair behind his ear. " What's the matter?" He asked, knowing Kakashi was contemplating something. Silence filled the living room and Sasuke's movements became more calculated. He felt like he was under deep observation. The man's eyes were traveling over every miniscule detail on his face and body. Did he look strange? Was it his outfit? Perhaps he expected someone larger. He was a rather slender person.

"You're a teenager."

Sasuke furrowed his eyebrows for a second, before putting on a face of indifference. "You're old," he replied.

Kakashi scoffed at the rebuttal and stood up. "How about that walk?" He suggested, placing a hand on Sasuke's right shoulder. The way dark eyes stared at his hand made Kakashi slide his palm up to Sasuke's cheek instead. He brushed his thumb against the pale smooth skin for about a second before pulling away. 'Even that felt inappropriate,' he thought, sliding his hands in his front pockets.

"Um...yeah sure," Sasuke mumbled, trying to swallow the lump forming in his throat. "Let me just tell my brother."

The second Sasuke walked out of the living room Kakashi let out a sigh of relief. He scratched at his thigh and the hard material of his prosthetic through his pants, a nervous tick he had developed as of lately. 'Too soon,' he thought.
