For those interested, the sequel to Mending Endeavors, entitled, "Efforts in Mending", is now up and the link to can be found via my profile here.

Also, I have begun another story entitled "A Different Sort of Mending". Though in the same 'verse, the events in it diverge from those in "Mending Endeavors". For those interested in it, you can find it on my Ao3.

Responses to Reviews

While far later than I should have, let me thank and reply to the far too kind anonymous reviews I was unable to respond to. They are in the order of earliest to latest received.

To Guest 1: Thanks for such a wonderfully detailed review. I understand less than charitable feelings for Rhaegar. The fates of Elia and the children don't help. In-verse Rhaegar is called a well-read, hyper-capable man. Imo, there are differences between well-read and intelligence. To me, it seemed Rhaegar spent his life working towards a specific goal. Possibly "saving the world" is a grander goal than dealing with practical considerations. That said, Rhaegar wanting to have and eat his cake is not surprising. To a future king who believes himself to be the progenitor of the PtwP, why wouldn't his wife's agreement be his due?

While Elia was angry taking it out on a baby is cruel and though Lyanna is old enough to know better, if Rhaegar shows Elia little consideration, why should she? But, then, I don't see her leaving. Giving in is usually not a viable option for upper nobility and, if she left, she would be required to leave the children behind. As it is, Oberyn has no authority unless Doran gives it and I don't see Doran willingly allowing Lyanna to become Rhaegar's sole queen or Jon Rhaegar's heir when he sees those rights as belonging to his respective kin, esp. if he could help it.

Given the announcement above you just might get your wish about Lyanna's possible reaction and Elia getting a paramour though not likely in the way you imagined. Better late than never I suppose ;)

To Guest 2: By all means please continue to express strong emotions. I appreciate them more than you know.

To Hanna: While I understand the sentiment, unfortunately perhaps, I cannot oblige. In this 'verse he must live.

To Guest 3: It is a perfect quote. Thank you for such lovely compliments. I am honored my writing inspired such strong feelings. Oh, there definitely should be more Elia stories and if/when you find the inspiration, please do write.

To WendyBird: Sorry I made you cry, but, as you know, I fail at not writing angst.
