A/N I know, I know...it's been months, and I'm sorry. I got lost in Crowded House, and pretty much lost my muse on this one. I've been given some good ideas on where to go with this, so I'm hoping to update more frequently. I know you'll probably have to go back and re-read to remember where we are...I hope it's worth it! I give you smut as a peace offering...forgive me? Thanks to Christine for proofing it :)

"Are you still nervous?" Nick grinned, watching Jeff sit on his bed, then stand, pace to the door, only to come back and sit on Nick's dorm room bed again. He'd been in a state all morning.

"Feel like I'm gonna be sick…." Jeff trailed off, looking a bit green.

"Babe…it's ok. You know the policy here. Nobody's going to mess with you. If they do, we do something about it, but I don't see it happening. They're pretty strict, you know." Nick said, attempting to soothe him.

"It's not that….I've never lived with anyone before. I've never shared a room with anyone before, and I don't know…um….I just….things, you know?!" Jeff said, exasperated. "It would certainly help if I knew who the heck I was rooming with. I get that I'm new here and all that, but you and Blaine have known you're going to be rooming together for two days now. What if I get stuck with some homophobe who treats me like I have the plague or something? I just feel sick…." Jeff said, getting up off the bed and pacing to the bathroom, slamming the door.

"Wow, he's….he's all kinds of messed up over this, isn't he?" Blaine said sadly, giving Nick a confused look.

"He is, and I can't really understand why, ya know? He's awesome, he's easy to get along with, he's hot, he's smart, he's the perfect roommate….whoever he ends up with is going to fall in love with him at first sight!" Nick laughed. When Blaine didn't laugh along with him, he glanced his way and found his roommate staring at him with wide eyes.

"Uhh….I'm not touching that with a ten foot pole, man." Blaine said quietly.

"Why, I mean….oh. Oh…oh shit! HOW has this not crossed my mind before now? Oh my GOD, Blaine, he's here, with all guys, and he's new blood. SHIT! They're gonna be all over him!" Nick said, eyes wide as well now. "No…no no no no….he's mine. Ground rules…I have to make it absolutely crystal clear to whoever he rooms with that he's mine, and if they so much as look at him too long, I'm gonna…." Nick ranted, before being interrupted by the door to their room flying open. Both boys turned, surprised, to see a taller, lanky boy standing in the doorway with an expression on his face that mirrored Jeff's. Nick glanced at Blaine as if to say "You know this guy?" Blaine was all smiles.

"This was a bad idea. I can't do this. I can't room with someone I don't know. What if they make fun of my skin care routine? What if they want to hang their clothes in the closet too close to mine and they get all wrinkled. What if they want to….mmmppphhh!" he chanted, finally cut off with a mind blowing kiss from Blaine.

"Hi baby." Blaine said with an adoring smile.

"I'm going to assume that you're Kurt?" Nick asked, grinning madly at the two. "It's nice to finally put a face to the name." he said, holding out his hand to shake Kurt's.

"I am, and I know you're Nick because I've seen enough Instagram photos to have most of the student body memorized by now thanks to Mr. Shutterbug here." Kurt smiled in greeting. "It's good to meet you, too, Nick."

"So where's your room, did you get your assignment yet?" Blaine asked, clearly excited that his boyfriend would be around all the time now.

"Yeah….I'm actually just down the hall from you guys, which is awesome, but I don't recognize the name of my roommate, not that I should, but I just hope…" he trailed off, looking at the crumpled piece of paper in his hands. "I hope 'Jeffrey Sterling' isn't an idiot!" he said, cringing, "or some creepy ass homophobe." Blaine and Nick shared a look as Nick approached the bathroom door and knocked softly.

"Babe….c'mon out. I want you to meet someone." Nick said with a lilt in his voice.

The door opened and out walked a slightly less green Jeff. He looked miserable, like he was ready to bolt at any second. He eyed the boy standing before him, the only one in the room he didn't know, and thought immediately that they looked to be just about the same height, and maybe even the same size. This only registered because he was drawn immediately to the boy's skinny jeans and the boots he'd thrown on haphazardly. They were awesome and he made a note to find out where the guy had gotten them.

"Hi, how's it going?" he said, holding his hand out to Kurt.

"Good…it's….well, I hope it's good. We'll see soon enough, I guess, when I meet my roommate. You're new here too this year?" Kurt asked Jeff.

"I am….a little wound up about meeting my roommate as well. I hope he's not a douche or a diva or something." Jeff sighed.

"Oh he is, Jeff, he is." Blaine laughed out loud, grabbing Kurt around the waist. "But he's MY diva, and nobody does it better!" Blaine said, planting a playful kiss on Kurt's lips.

"Wait….what?" Kurt said, confused when Blaine pulled away.

"Kurt," Nick said, "this is Jeffrey Sterling. My boyfriend…my idiot. I'm sorry, you're stuck with him." He laughed. Jeff and Kurt took one look at each other and burst into laughter with their significant others.

"Seriously? You've got to be kidding me?" Jeff laughed. "Oh my…thank GOD!" he grinned, throwing his arm around Kurt's shoulder. "So we're just across the hall, and you're my roommate and Blaine's Nick's roommate and….." he stopped short.

Nick bit his lip and looked at Blaine with a sexy glint in his eye. "It's gonna be a good year, my friend….a goooood year!" They both laughed, knowing there would be many a night with sleepovers and switched roommates.

As Kurt and Jeff walked out the door, Jeff asked Kurt about his boots. The last thing Nick heard was "size 12…..you kidding me? Seriously you'd let me borrow them!? I think we're going to get along famously, Kurt!" Jeff said, his arm still slung around Kurt's shoulders as they sauntered down the hall.

The next morning found Nick waking to the sound of a text message. Grabbing his phone, he saw that it was from Jeff.

6:45a from Jeff: Rise and shine, gorgeous. First day of school….and you have to take me to breakfast! You promised ;) Love you

6:46a from Nick: Absolutely, come on over when you're ready. We'll all head down together. Love you more

Blaine groaned from under the covers and shifted slightly. "It's time already, isn't it?" he mumbled.

"It is, sleeping beauty, get your butt in gear!" Nick laughed, throwing his pillow at the lump across from him. He left the lump there and headed for the shower. When he'd finished, he cracked the door to let the steam out and Blaine sauntered in behind him, dropping his boxers to the floor and stepping into the shower as if it was an everyday occurrence. Nick was momentarily surprised, but then he relaxed when he realized this was Blaine, and Blaine had every reason to be comfortable around him. They'd known each other for two years, and now they'd be living together for a year. Yep, familiarity would be a thing…and that was ok.

A short time later, there was a knock on the door and Nick yelled "it's open!" while he straightened his bed up and reclaimed his pillow from Blaine's bed. When he turned to see Jeff in the doorway his mouth went dry. The air left his lungs and he forgot to inhale.

"Well, fuck me….." he whispered out. Jeff stood before him awkwardly tugging at his Dalton tie, not realizing the impact his appearance made on Nick.

"I hate ties, and I can't believe I'm subjecting myself to this every d-." He began. "Nicky?"

His boyfriend was staring at him with huge, hungry eyes and it lit a fire inside Jeff immediately.

"Hey man…sleep well?" Blaine asked, stepping out of the bathroom already dressed with his hair gelled down. He grabbed his bag and threw a few notebooks in it, shrugging it up to his shoulder.

"Huh? Oh….um…yeah…slept…ok, good, yeah." Jeff said, distractedly, watching Nick. Neither boy moved in inch.

"Kurt ready to go?" Blaine said, snickering at the way they just stared at one another, unmoving.

"Uh huh…ready to go…I think…I….." Jeff stuttered out.

"Ok, then…on that note, I'm gonna go. You guys both have French first bell?" he asked, trying really hard not to laugh at this point as they just gaped at each other.

"French…yeah…see you…uh…see you there." Nick mumbled, watching the way Jeff's Adam's apple bobbed just above the knot in his tie when he swallowed.

"I'm gonna go out on a limb here and assume I won't see you at breakfast, so I'll grab you both a muffin and you can inhale it before Madame Cousteau gets to class?"

"Muffins are good. Get out please." Nick said, advancing on Jeff, never taking his eyes off his prey. As the door clicked shut, Nick surged forward and grabbed Jeff's face, kissing him hard and with every bit of want in his body. "….my God…Jeffie….I didn't know….you look delicious." He muttered out between kisses.

"How have I never seen you in your Dalton uniform all this time?" Jeff asked, panting and trying to shrug out of his jacket.

"Dunno….summer….tie, take it off." Nick instructed, adhering his mouth to Jeff's neck, his fingers working feverishly on the buttons of Jeff's shirt. "No wait….keep it on. Just the tie, please…."

"Do you wanna um…." Jeff started, his hand wandering down over Nick's fly, noting the rather prominent bulge there right away. "Oh God, you do wanna…best first day of school ever…." He whined, pulling on Nick's clothes.

They stumbled over to Nick's bed and fell on it in an undignified lump, groping and panting, shoving items of clothing to the floor, their lips never leaving each other.

"K...hang on…wait." Jeff said, sitting up quickly and surveying the floor and the piles of clothes. He immediately grabbed their clothing and hung them neatly on the back of the chair before falling back into Nick's arms. "Can't be a mess the first day, Nicky…." He breathed.

"Your Nicky…"

"Only mine….ohgodyesplease….." Jeff moaned out, his back arching as Nick nearly ripped his boxers down around his knees and immediately engulfed his half hard cock, groaning around it as it slipped between his lips time and again. Jeff was a mess, writhing and gasping, his hands fisted in Nick's hair. "Not gonna last long, N-Nicky….fucking hell, you're so good at this…."

Nick smiled and hummed around Jeff's cock as he felt the tip of it hit his throat. He sucked hard and pulled up slowly, hearing Jeff hiss and gasp immediately after, his stomach tightening and then the hot flood rushing down his throat. "God, ohgodohgodohgod…" he panted, chest heaving, arms out to the sides now. His body was as limp as a wet noodle and he had a totally sated look on his face, the smirking grin making Nick even harder in his own boxers. "Can't move…." He managed to get out. Nick smirked back at him, his head resting on Jeff's tight abs while he concentrated on not messing himself by rutting against Jeff's leg.

"Better?" Nick managed to get out.

"So much better. If this is any indication of how this school year is going to go, I have to say, I approve." He grinned. Nick snickered and then whimpered as he felt himself brush against the bed.

"Oh…OH! Baby… 'M so sorry….come up here!" Jeff laughed, pulling Nick up to meet his lips. "Let me just help you with that."

"Please, Jeffie…..just….something…anything." Nick whined. Jeff grabbed Nick's butt with both hands and began pulling on him until he was practically sitting on Jeff's chest. "Ok, awkward placement, but I'll go with you on this one?" Nick questioned, wondering what Jeff was up to.

"Move up…..use my mouth, Nicky…..good morning, Pavarotti…." Jeff said, biting his bottom lip with a salacious grin and nibbling the little yellow bird on Nick's hipbone. Nick's eyes flew open wide. God, the things Jeff could do with his mouth, and he did so love Pavarotti and everything in the general vicinity as well.

"Yeah?"

"Absolutely…fuck my mouth."

"J-Jeff…."

"Please…..Nicky, please." Jeff whined, bucking up under Nick to move him forward.

"Shit….." Nick said, dropping his hands to the headboard and watching Jeff chase his cock with an open mouth before taking him in deep. "And you think YOU weren't gonna last long…." He grunted. Nick's hips thrust forward testing Jeff's gag reflex. It was one thing to be on your knees and do this….it was totally another to be on your back and unable to pull off if you wanted or needed to. Then he felt Jeff's hands on his ass again, pulling him closer. "Jefffffff…..ohmygod…babe…." he said, thrusting quicker now. Jeff didn't seem to mind, and took it like it was his job. Hot. Slick. Wet. Nick was in heaven, and it was only the first day of school. They had all year to do this. "Gonna come….babe….gonna…oh God..hellyeah…" he stuttered, back stiff and knuckles white on the headboard. "FUCK!" he bellowed, hot ribbons coating Jeff's throat, then his face and neck as Nick's body jerked back from the force of his orgasm ripping through him. "Jesus Christ…." He whispered out, his body collapsing back until he was on his back between Jeff's legs. Chest heaving, and eyes finally focusing again, they heard the bell ring in the hallway and both shot up straight in the bed.

"Is that…?" Jeff asked, eyes wide.

"Yeah….shit…hurry!" Nick giggled, rolling over and falling on the floor. "Legs not working….crap!" he laughed out loud. Jeff grabbed his arms and hauled him up, throwing his pants and blazer at him as he did so.

Minutes later they were both sprinting down the hallway toward their first class, Jeff following close behind, unsure exactly where he was going and glad that Nick knew the way. They spotted Blaine standing outside the door, two muffins in hand and a shit eating grin on his face.

"It's about time!" he chided them. "Another minute and Kurt would have eaten your breakfast. Banana nut are his favorite." Blaine teased.

"You rock, dude." Jeff said, fist bumping Blaine, causing him to drop the other muffin. Nick's face fell. "I'll share with you, babe." Jeff smiled at his handsome boyfriend.

They entered the rear of the classroom, noting that the only available seats were in the back. Jeff was amused. EVERYONE wanted to sit in the back at his old school. It was the only way to hide. Only the goody goodies sat in front. Here, it seemed the front row was the place to be. They took their seats, the three of them strung across three seats in the rear of the class, Kurt's desk right in front of Blaine's.

The teacher was nowhere to be found yet, so they set out to unpack their things.

"Mr. Duval, a word?" came the voice from the door. Professor Dillon, the dean of students, beckoned him to the hallway. Nick gave Blaine and Jeff a look, then shrugged his shoulders and left the room. He wasn't gone 10 seconds when the student in front of Jeff turned around to speak to him.

"Hi, beautiful." The boy said. "I'm Sebastian, and you must be new because there is NO way I'd have missed that beautiful face if you were here last year." He grinned, biting his bottom lip. Jeff was momentarily stunned. A stunt like this would have gotten anyone beaten to a pulp at his old school. Was this guy serious?

"Back off, Smythe, he's spoken for." Blaine warned, not looking up from his notebook.

"Says who?" Sebastian grinned, cocking his head to the side and never taking his eyes from Jeff.

"Says me. Leave him alone." Blaine repeated.

"So much new blood….how 'bout this one then?" Seb smirked, running a finger down Kurt's arm.

"If you value that digit being close to its friends, I suggest you remove it and never do that again." Kurt snarked without raising his head either. He'd already been warned about Sebastian.

"So, gorgeous, surely you have a name? Care to share it with me?" Seb pressed on, turning to Jeff again.

"I….um…." Jeff said, still quite flustered at this boy's forwardness.

"His name is 'fuck off, Sebastian'" Nick said, striding back into class. "Don't touch…don't even look, ok?" Nick said, his eyes boring into Seb's in a clear predatory manner.

"Oddly, he hasn't said a word, Nicholas. Perhaps he doesn't share your possessive nature? Does he like to share?" Sebastian kept on. Jeff's mouth dropped open in shock. "Oh honey, I could put that mouth to such good use….look how wet and deep…..amazing." Seb teased. Nick was ready to jerk him out of his seat and pummel him. Jeff finally found his voice.

"Odd….that's just what Nick said a few minutes ago when he was fucking my mouth in his dorm room." Jeff said, his gaze far off, as if he was remembering something that happened years ago. Seb's eyes nearly crossed.

"Indeed I did, love. I think I have also failed miserably to clean you up properly." Nick said, flicking his tongue at Jeff's neck and sucking softly. "I love the taste of me on you." He smiled warmly at Jeff. "I promise to aim better next time if you promise to keep your hands in a respectable place?" he giggled, his eyes only on Jeff.

"Awwww, Nicky, but I love where my hands were." Jeff pouted. "Seems to me, you rather loved it yourself…what with the way you blew all over my-"

"Good morning, class!" Madame Cousteau greeted them as she walked into the classroom smiling brightly. "And welcome to our first day together. As this is French III, I'm going to assume that the registration office has done its job and everyone has the prerequisites to be here. Therefore, these are the last words you'll hear in English in my classroom." She smiled brilliantly at them again and Jeff barely caught the look Sebastian shot Nick before turning around in his seat. It wasn't pleasant. Jeff also didn't miss the way Sebastian had to adjust his pants, and he smirked at Nick when he realized that he had noticed too.

"Nicky?" Jeff whispered, getting his boyfriend's attention. "Je suis seulement à toi, mon amour." (I'm only yours, my love.)

Nick smiled at him, that big, beautiful, radiant smile, and Jeff felt himself relax inside a bit. He hadn't even been aware of how tightly strung he'd become when Sebastian had flagrantly started hitting on him. It wasn't something he was used to…not in the middle of Ohio, anyway, and it left him with an odd feeling in the pit of his stomach. Best to stay close to Nick, Blaine and Kurt until he could figure out who to trust and who to avoid.
