Sorry for pretty much like disappearing off the face of the earth! Here's the long awaited update!

Goku was terrified. Absolutely terrified. She couldn't let Chichi see him like this! But she had a feeling she already knew what had gone down, and that she was going to rip her a new hole if she ever caught them.

She had decided on teleporting everyone to her favorite hiding spot in the woods, for when Chichi broke far too much off the leash. Settling down on the nearest patch of soft, pale green grass, Goku sighed, rubbing her temples.

"Why...of all things to happen, why this..? I don't understand." She muttered under her breath whilst running a trembling hand through her messy brown hair. She closed her eyes for a moment, her face scrunched up in utter annoyance. That is, until a deep scratchy voice pried on her business.

"Kakarot, what's the deal with you? Why can't you face your terrifying wife-demon-thing face to face?"

Vegeta's sudden voice had made her jump. It had startled her, quite a bit if she had said so herself. And she was pretty sure that her heart skipped a beat, but she turned to the male Saiyan with a dash of spiteful hatred mixed in with the expression of fear and nervousness.

"Have you MET my wife, Vegeta? My god, she's even more terrifying than Cell or Frieza!" She yelped, rather loudly.

"So then why not divorce her?"

"Because that wouldn't be fair to the kids, and she's my...eh, sweetheart?"

"Kakarot, that sounded more like a question rather than a firm statement."

"You probably just heard it wrong or something, I guess."

"Pft, sure, Ms.I-freak-out-because-I-can't-be-manly."

"Wow, nice insult. You get an A+ for effort."

She sneered, rolling her eyes. She was NOT in the mood to deal with his cockiness.

Silence fell upon the two for a few minutes, but soon ended when Vegeta again attempted to converse with Goku.

"You don't seem to stay even the slightest bit happy when you're around her."

"..."

"And, in all honesty, everybody knows you aren't happy with Chichi."

"Just shut up, Vegeta."

"Goku, even I notice you are unhappy around her."

"I said shut up.."

"She's a control freak, just like Frieza!"

"I told you to shut up, Vegeta, and if you don't stop I'm gonna punch you or something."

"To be honest, I think she-"

He was cut off by a hard and angry fist slamming into his jaw, causing an unnatural pop noise to be heard as the fist came in contact. Vegeta's eyes widened in surprise, blood dribbling down and out of his mouth and onto his chin.

"What was that for..? Was it something I said..?"

"Obviously, you stuck up monkey. When I say to stop next time, just stop. You DON'T insult my wife like that; that's very rude. You got me?"

The male Sayain kept quiet for the next hour, before he heard a piercing scream emit from the woods around him and dashed off to find the source of it.

_Trunks and Goten!_

Goten was not going to admit it, but he had wanted to stay close to his dad-er, second mom(?)-and Vegeta to make sure they were okay. He clearly knew how much bickering they can get into, and his newly changed...wait a minute. Is he considered his other mom? Dad? What would Goku be now, mom-or-dad wise? Would Goten have two moms now? Or...Wait, where were they again?

Goten was much too deep in thought, as evidenced by running into a tree after falling into a deep abyss of questioning himself. A moment passed after he had hit the ground, and so he took a moment to recoup. He shook his head to snap out of the blank trance he got himself into. Looking around, he saw they were lost in the woods.

"Uhm, Trunks?"

Goten looked around, slowly drawling out his words at first.

"Yeah, Goten?"

"Where are we?"

"The woods, duh. Where does it look like we are?"

" Okay, well...what're we doing here? Shouldn't we be back with our...uh, I guess dads?"

"Nah, we should be fine. You know, it's not s'pposed to be our job to babysit our dads. If anything, they really should start keeping a better eye on us. Heh."

Helping the boy up, Trunks grinned a goofy smile. She kept it for a minute or two, before furrowing her eyebrows in concentration.

An odd rustle alerts the purple haired girl.

"Is everything oka-"

"Shh, I thought I heard Chichi."

Then there came a rather odd and repetitive crunching noise on the leaves, almost as if someone were walking or running towards the duo. A shady looking thing approaches them, shortly stopping to swing it's axe at a nearby tree, no longer advancing towards the two children.

"You mean mommy managed to find us all the way out here?"

"Maybe, but maybe not."

With a low 'groan'-like sound, the tree began to give way to gravity. Sooner than he'd have thought, the tree was mere inches away from crushing him, but Trunks let out a rather loud shriek as she pushed Goten out of the way. She tried to hold the tree with an iron grip, that is until several bugs began crawling all over her.

((to be continued, I guess. See y'all in the next update!))
