10. My Lucky Item.

"Kuroko, if I could just have a moment of your time."

"Yes, Midorima-kun. How can I help you?" He asked.

"Well. You see, Oha Asa said that today you are my lucky item." He was still in disbelief that the others had managed to drag him into their childish game and tried to make sure his "lines" did not come across so blatantly to the smaller individual. He thought that he had been succeeding so far.

"I don't really follow up on these kinds of things, Midorima-kun, but I doubt that a person would be considered a lucky item." Kuroko, being his ever polite mannered self, avoided flat out telling Midorima that he was being unrealistic and slightly unreasonable.

He chose not to address the fact that this was clearly another one of the Miracles' attempts at an apparent chat up line. If this was their way of attracting people, he seriously questioned their future chances of ever being in a romantic relationship.

"It is important to check your daily fortune in order to be ready to face any challenges. I would advise that you do so too. I am just doing what I can to improve my luck. Although, I will concede that it did not say the exact words 'Kuroko Tetsuya' as being my lucky item, but it did say someone with blue hair and little presence."

"Are you sure, Midorima-kun? That also sounds a little strange to be true."

"Fine. I will concede again that it said that something blue was to be my lucky item for the day."

"Your shirt is already blue Midorima-kun. I am sure that it will provide you with all the luck you need."

"Sometimes you can never be too careful and I believe that today is one of those times." He replied.

Appearing a tad flustered, he repositioned the spectacles that settled on the bridge of his nose. "I suppose it can not be helped. As your hair is blue, I will stay close by you today. Do not get me wrong, I am just doing all that I can to improve my luck. As I have already said, of course."

"You often have strange reasoning behind doing things, Midorima-kun."

"What reasoning are you talking about? I have already told you why I am doing this."

"Yes. Of course, Midorima-kun. 'It is not as if we are friends or anything.' You only tell me this each time we meet." He said, blankly.

"As long as you are aware of this."
