Good day! Shadowmistx98 here!

Here I present to you, another JacquelinexHarvar fanfic! XD MUAHAHAHAHAHA!

Disclaimer: I do not own Soul Eater.

Jacqueline sat on one of the chairs in Deathbucks. It was an early morning and she decided to spend her time at the cafe.

Since Kim and Ox suddenly decided to go outdoor studying, Jacqueline was left again lonely.

She sipped some tea and flipped the pages on her book. She took a bite from the spaghetti on her plate. She looked at the mixed numbers inked on the paper and tapped her pencil numerous times on it.

Damn.

She hated this lesson. She hated this subject.

Algebra. Math.

There was this one time when she almost burned a book about it in frustration.

She sighed and pulled her hair back and arranged it to a ponytail. She looked outside through the glass.

It was an early Saturday morning.

She hissed silently as she went back to her homework.

She growled. "And Kim and Ox are out there studying their butts off... Kim, you're lucky you have a genius on your side..."

She laid her chin down the table while blowing her bangs.

"And I'm here, suffering with these numbers and symbols"

Jacqueline sighed once more and straightened her posture. She took a sip from the cup of her tea when a familiar voice asked her.

"Are you done with this plate?"

Jacqueline slowly turned her head to the guy pointing at her spaghetti plate.

She almost spit out the tea when she recognized the guy as Harvar.

What? Harvar? In a waiter suit?

What the hell is happening to the world?

"Uh. Y-yeah. What are you... doing here?" Jacqueline asked him.

"I work here when me and Ox are out of allowance... And since Ox has been spending a little too much the past few weeks, I have to work here for at least 3 hours" Harvar answered emotionlessly.

"Now, are you done with your plate yet or what?" Harvar asked. Jacqueline nodded and went back to her book, ignoring the fact that she was once again in the same area with the Demon Lance.

Harvar took the plate and placed it on a tray.

"You know, you look dumb staring at your book like that. Guess you really don't know the answer, huh?" Harvar said.

Jacqueline glared at him. "Thank you, for summing that up"

Harvar left without notice and Jacqueline went back to her book.

Harvar sure was right she didn't know the answer but it hurt.

After a few minutes, Jacqueline managed to answer 2 out of 10 of the questions. Though, she can't figure out how she could solve the other 8.

Another few minutes and she was already chewing her pencil off.

"At this rate, I'm not going to accomplish anything..." Jacqueline mumbled. Then, suddenly someone sat across her table.

"So, what's the problem?"

Jacqueline looked up to Harvar quite shocked. This time, he was wearing a polo shirt and pants.

"H-Harvar? What are you doing? Aren't you working?" she asked a bit worried.

"My shift is over..." he simply answered.

"Um, sooo... Why are you still here?" she asked again.

"Helping you wouldn't hurt, would it?" Harvar slowly took the book away from her and looked at it.

"So, what's wrong with this? I can explain it to you" he asked.

Jacqueline continued to stare at him a bit shocked. She found it weird to feel that her face is heating up.

Harvar looked at her and raised his eyebrow.

"Jackie... Jackie" Harvar called her to break her from her trail of thoughts.

"Uh! W-what?"

"I told you that I could explain this to you if you have any difficulties with it" Harvar repeated.

"O-ok" Jacqueline leaned a bit forward to point out the numbers she had difficulty with.

Jacqueline managed to solve them all in the end and she can understand the formulas well now. It imprinted on her mind.

And along the formulas imprinted on her mind, is a mental picture of Harvar as he explained to her the lesson.
