AN : A one-shot(or Not) Fanfic of the shinsengumi taking care of a lost baby, It's based off an image I found on the internet The link to it is on my profile page. Might be a multi-chapter for each guy taking care of the baby. I don't have a lot of knowledge writing about babies so, please don't hurt me too much!

Chizuru slightly opened the shoji door and took a peak through. She silently gasped that the scene before her. Inside the room, it showed Hijikata wagging his right index finger at the baby as he cradled the baby with his other arm. The baby reached up and tried to take hold of the index finger but, it was out of his reach.

"Dah! Bah," It cried out in frustration.

Hijikata raised his left eyebrow at the baby before trailing his finger to the baby's foot and tickled it. The baby giggled at the man and swung his foot away from the finger. Hijikata chuckled at the amused baby and continued to tickle each foot. His expression soften as the baby gives off giggles and smiles at the man, making him melt at the sight.

At the moment, Souji's Partner in crime swiftly snuck up on the peeking girl and rubbed his head between her ankles. Chizuru let out a squeak in surprise before glaring down at the black cat, that is currently licking his paws innocently. Hijikata glared at the door and gave a warning, "Behind that door, reveal yourself or face the consequences."

Fearfully, Chizuru slowly opened the door before bowing her head low in apology. "I apologize for my rudeness Hijikata-san. I will not peak through again." The cat besides her, let out a meow before rubbing himself against her ankles again. "Toshizo." She scold the cat, making it stare up at her innocently before hissing at the purple-eyed felt his left eyes twitch at the name Souji gave the cat before giving out a big sigh.

"Its fine, as long as you're not one of them." Toshizo let out another hiss before tilting it's head in curiosity at small creature in the man's arms. The bundle in his arms turned it's head towards the girl and let out a happy squeal, it's hands reaching out for her.
