Hey There!First thing: I know I know it's been like a year and this story was left behind T.T, sorry about that, I just lost it somehow and was trying to improve, plus, I was busy with something called ... Life! :D so yeah, yet I promise I'll be better and faster.

Ok now. This is a rewrite of my First Fanfiction story, "Rainy day!", people who read it before knew that I didn't complete it yet, so, I'm rewriting all chapters and updating it again! I recommend you read it again because there's some good changes here! ^_^

I hope you like it... Again.

Here we go!

The sky was gray, huge clouds could be seen scattered along and the sun didn't seem to have a spot to send her light from it, and then the sky started to frown.
Followed by the strong sound of thunder which rumbled throw Academy City.

It was a sudden turn in the weather, even though Academy City had the fine technology to predict the weather exactly, they were surprised by the storm and so
changed their forecast according to it. Unfortunately, no one had told a certain high school guy, that he'll be receiving two storms that day.

The sound of thunder roared like a bomb being exploded in the air, followed by an imagine of lightening hitting the ground. Once a certain blue-haired nun who were watching TV heard the sounds and trembled a bit, she shivered and covered her ears like a little kitten.

"Touma, Touma!"
She cried out to her one and only shelter, also known as Misfortune ةagnet, Touma. Once he heard her pleading voice, Kamijou poked his head from the
opened door and asked.
"What is it, Index?"

"Touma the weather isn't good, looks like there is gonna be a storm coming soon like the lady just said on TV."

She said while her cute eyes turned back on the TV screen and back to Touma.

"Didn't you tell me that this city is able to predict weather and storm? They lady just received the news."

"Ahhh... Yeah, It was actually weird. They said that the weather will be hot this morning and then this storm popped out, damn it... just on the day I decided to hang the futon out on the balcony and now it's rain-... wahhh! The futon!"

Kamijou dashed like the wind and slid the door open, Index's silver hair and nun habit even flew a bit at his speed. Kamijou started to pic up the heavy
futon(thanks to rain) and struggled to left it up duo it being warped somehow on the railing.

"Damn it! I just hanged it there... s-such misfortune!"

He cried out as he pulled the futon harder to free it from the railing.

In a near distance, a certain hazel haired girl were running in a hurry throw the city, with each step she made water splash in the air duo to her heavy and fast steps, she was putting her school bag on her head, trying to avoid some rain off her, yet it didn't seem it have much protection, because she sneezed after a second.

There were no shelter to be seen.

"Ahh mouhhh! What with the sudden change with the weather now!"

She groaned to no one and kept running fast, she couldn't get back to her dorm because it was far in another district, and she can't go to one of her friends because they all live in a different district.

She sighed.

And just as she thought of slowing her pace down, she heard a low voice of a kitten.

She turned right away to seek for the place the said voice came from. She saw a little black kitten under a tree shivering and trembling. the size of it
were like a size of one's hand, and it was fully drenched in water.

Mikoto immediately ran forward to the kitten with a shine in her eyes, she loved cute animals and especially kittens(thought she won't admit it)and so she took her bag which she was using as a shelter and put it on the top of the shivering kitten while she knelt down under the rain.

Few blocks away, Kamijou was "still" trying to get his fully drenched futon from the railing, he managed to free the futon after pulling it hard and stumbled backward, falling inside his dorm because he left the door open he heard Index giggle and ignored it with a bored face. He stood up and was about to go inside when he noticed something from afar.

It was a mater of seconds until he recognized the person, it was Misaka Mikoto, Biri Biri, she was holding her bag in front of her for some reason and just when he managed to make sure in his mind that it was really her, he shouted loud enough to make Index lean her head a bit with a questioning look.

"it's Biri Biri!"

"Heh?"

"Can't explain now!" he said as he dashed to get an umbrella and wear his black jacket, leaving the futon on the ground. "I'll be out for a couple of minutes, don't eat anything while I'm out ok?"

He said in a hurry yet with a concerned tone on the contact of his fridge.

"I won't eat anything! Don't you trust me!"

she shouted while pouting and clenching her small hands in front of her face.
Kamijou was about to say "No" yet was in a hurry so Index received the answer from the door being smacked hard.

Index pouted."mouhhh, Touma is always like this."

She shock her head back to the TV and continued her show while leaning back and forth with an amused smile.

He was running fast as thought he was being chased by something invisible. Kamijou kept his pace to where Mikoto were standing, he forgot to open his umbrella or maybe just thought he would get there faster if he didn't he silently wondered what was Mikoto doing in this far dictric, as he remember when he went to her school to give her her Geokta chain that fell one day(somehow he recalled that certain chain immediately) he knew
the distance would take time to reach, and she have a curfew time which in case she missed it, she'll see the ninth hell herself(according to what Mikoto had explained to him).

As he got closer, he could see her smiling like a cute child with a lovely expression adorning her face while her eyes were locked on something, he could see the reason of her smile lying on the ground, it was a little kitten, Mikoto was quite childish and he knew that well, but he couldn't do but smile softly at that.

She was smiling, Until she heard his voice.

"Oi Biri Biri, what are you doing in the rain?"

"G-gah! It's you!"

Mikoto flashed red in a instant like a lamp being switched open and was about to drop her bag from her hand. Touma wondered on the sudden change in her and suddenly touched her forehead with his hand.

"What's the matter Biri Biri!? D-did you catch a cold already?"

He decided it would be better if he check her temperature directly, and so, he leaned his forehead forward and placed it on her forehead while he closed his eyes as to measure it correctly.
Her face redden more at the sudden action and was about to faint, yet somewhere deep down she was happy.
And still, she found herself pushing him with her hand away, and she almost regret it after feeling so worm.

"I-I'm ok you idiot, stop worrying..."

Surprisingly she didn't shock him because she was tired from running or that the kitten state made her forgot, or maybe something else.
From the edge of her eye she saw him scratch the back of his spiky hair, looking unconvinced, and adorable.

"You didn't tell me what are doing here in the rain? you're gonna catch a cold like that.."

His tone was still worried and she smiled a bit as seeing the same old worried Touma who come and save everyone no matter how small it is. She seemed back to normal and so she responded to his question.

"Don't you see? This little kitten is all drenched and soaked, I can't just leave it here."

Her answer reminded him of a certain nun, he smiled, looks like both of them share the same love to cute animals and pets.

"You know, you could've taken it with you."

"I can't idiot, don't you know because of my power cats and other animals never tou-"

She was about to finish her speech yet the sudden feeling in the tip of her hand made her look down. The little black kitten were licking Mikoto's finger slowly and rubbing itself in her palm, Mikoto didn't believe and her eyes shined with happiness.

"I-it's touching me!

Touma could see her vibrant smile and childish look that were perfectly adorning her face, she seemed to not believe what happening and was overwhelmed in joy for a reason Kamijou knew well, she took the kitten in her hands and rubbed it in her face while her face could be a of a 5years cute kid.

Then he realized that he didn't open his umbrella and they both were drenched in rain. He took his jacket and placed it over Mikoto who's face got red in an instant.

"You will catch a cold you know."He said with a smile that melts one's heart.

He opened the umbrella and took Mikoto's hand while she hold the kitten in the other.

"Let's go."

Mikoto only nodded in respond and let him drag her, he heard her sneeze and looked at the umbrella, it was small and didn't fit two individuals so easily, and so, Touma decided that it would be better if they both could stay out of the rain and so...

"Wa-wah! W-what are you doing!?"

He can't blame her for the sudden squeal that the Biri Biri girl gave. He had let go of her hand, pushing her full body from her waist with his other hand and pulling her on what would seem like a hug, she burst red in an instant and her lips were opening and closing as to say something yet she couldn't, he himself blushed, as he never took a girl intentionally in his arms and the sudden contact of their bodies felt uncomfortable for him.

"I-It's only to protect you from the rain, nothing perverted I swear!"

He hesitantly said to avoid a rampage from her as always, But all what he received was her humming a little "Yeah".

On Touma's dorm balcony, Index was standing and looking with her green eyes at Touma. Once she noticed him walking she shouted warning him.

"Touma! Hurry up the storm is coming you should-"

Before finishing, she narrowed her eyes, Touma wasn't alone.

"Hm.."

She looked closely. Once her eyes caught Touma "Hugging" someone, and that someone was well known to her, she gasped and shouted.

"S-Short hair!"

Touma sighed.

This is goona be a long day.

On a certain roof, a girl was standing looking at the clouds while they were gathering in a rapped speed.
She grinned.
"This will be a lot of fun~"

So, this story is back! the later chapter will be posted after 2-3 days for each to leave a time between them, then I'll continue it since the spark is back!
