*grins evilly* I haven't forgotten about Valentine. He's our bad guy :) He'll be back... sort of

Okay anyway. Since I will be continuing this story even though I wanted to do a sequel, I will call this part II. Part II will switch POV's frequently just a heads up

PART II

Fire fell from the sky as my dream with Raziel came to a close. He forced me out as soon as one drop of fire fell from the sky. I shrugged it off as I was rudely woken by an obnoxious cry from the baby monitor. I groaned and slid out of bed. Jace was still in bed sleeping when I looked back at him. After shooting him a glare, I angrily made my way to the children's room. I thrust the door open.

"What the hell," I huffed. "Am I not allowed to sleep?"

There sat Simon and Isabelle with the baby monitor between them and a phone in each of their hands. "Are you going to treat your kids like that?"

I rolled my eyes. "Of course not. I'll actually like my kids."

Both Isabelle and Simon gaped. "How dare you," Isabelle said, offended.

"I am three and a half months pregnant," I hissed. "I wake up at three every morning to throw up everything in my stomach and then I'm not able to get back to sleep! I find myself in the bathroom most times during the day, throwing up." My hormones were getting the best of me. I took a deep breath to calm myself. "Sorry. I'm going back to bed."

Guiltily, Simon and Isabelle nodded and watched as I walked from the room. Although. . . I should be the one feeling guilty. I didn't go back to my room. Instead, I conjured up a Portal that left me exhausted. I walked through the glass-like substance and found myself at Magnus's. Magnus was in the kitchen nursing a cup of coffee.

"Magnus," I said, announcing my presence.

"Ah, Baby Doll. I was wondering when you were coming to visit me," Magnus smiled warmly.

I smiled back. "Actually I need you to do something for me."

His head tilted curiously. "This won't get me in trouble I hope."

"Maybe with Jace," I admitted. Magnus raised an eyebrow. "I need you to come with me to Lake Lyn."

"At this time of night?"

"Please, Magnus," I implored. "Raziel has wanted me to visit him for two weeks, but now he is telling me it'd be best if I stayed home."

Magnus stared at me incredulously. "And you're still going?"

"I have to. I have to see what's happening."

I think Magnus was afraid something bad would happen had I gone alone because he followed suit as soon as I turned around. He muttered something under his breath as he followed me through the portal. Although I rolled my eyes, I shot him a smile. Magnus shot me a sideways glance as we reached the side of the Lake. Lake Lyn stretched far and wide.

My mind was boggled. Shouldn't the water at least be effected a little? No ripples or anything. I shrugged and walked towards the Lake, Magnus grabbing my hand. Our legs were ankle deep in the water when Heavenly fire shot down from the Heavens and encased itself around Magnus and I. Next thing either of us knew, we were standing inside what looked to be once a stark white room. There was blood running down the walls. Or at least it looked like blood.

The room shook violently. Magnus and I stood our ground. Three Angels, including Raziel, appeared in front of us. Raziel eyed me carefully.

"How are you here, Clarissa?" His voice echoed in the room.

I raised an eyebrow. "What do you mean? I thought you allowed Magnus and I passage."

Raziel shook his head slightly. "Neither I nor the other Angels have been inside this room all evening. There was a mishap during our dream session. I specifically told you not to come."

Sheepishly, I shrugged and averted my eyes. "Well, I'm here now."

"But you mustn't. You must go home now. It is not safe for you to be here, especially in your condition," Raziel spoke firmly.

Once again, the room shook violently. Looking fearful, Raziel pointed a finger at me and the next thing I knew, I was standing inside a garden. Raziel joined me moments later with only Magnus. The both of them were looking at me with wide eyes.

"What are you looking at?" I asked hesitantly.

Magnus's eyes flickered down to my arm, as if telling me to look. I did so and gasped. My arm was freaking glowing. "Baby Doll, uh, Raziel wanted to speak to you about something, but it looks as if we've got another problem on our hands."

Raziel stepped forward. "Clarissa, it seems to me that your children are indeed special. They seemed to have absorbed the Heavenly fire that was inside your body."

My eyes widened. "All of it?"

He shook his head. "Not all of it, no. It still runs through your veins. That cannot be undone. Not only have your children absorbed your Heavenly fire, they have inherited both yours and Jace's Angel blood. I suspect that is how you were able to be granted access to the Heavens without my permission."

I nodded slowly, taking everything in. Tears sprung in my eyes. "Why couldn't my children be left out of this?'

"It is their destiny, Clarissa."

"What can you know about destiny," I cried. "My kids are freaking Angels!"

Jace POV

I reached my arm over to drag Clary closer to me, but there was nothing but a cold bed. Fear flooded through me and I shot up out of bed. I threw some shorts on before running out of the room. Every room I checked came up empty. Where was Clary? She could be anywhere. Jonathan and Valentine could have picked now to retaliate. Although. . . I don't think that's the case.

"Jace?" Isabelle questioned as I barged into her room. Simon was leaning against the pillows reading something called 'Fullmetal Alchemist'. "What's wrong? You look a little frantic."

"Clary. Have you seen Clary?"

Isabelle's eyebrows furrowed. "Simon and I messed with her this morning, but she said she was going back to bed. . . And I never heard the elevator. We'll help you look for her." She looked at Simon. "Give her a call while Jace and I search the Institute."

She followed me out of the room and I spoke. "I've all ready looked everywhere."

"Have you? Or did you only look in the places she'd most likely be. She could have been so pissed at Simon and I that she went off to some place no one could disturb her."

A loud boom echoed through the Institute causing mine and Isabelle's heads to jerk upward. Simon came racing out of nowhere and we all ran toward the elevator. After getting in, we anxiously waited for the doors to open. As soon as they did, the three of us charged out. Alec was standing by the Institute door with a box in his hand. He looked like he was just coming in. Alec looked up when he heard us.

"I came here looking for Magnus. What is this? We never get mail."

Isabelle, Simon, and I shook our heads. "We heard a loud noise."

Alec shrugged and stepped inside. "Shall we open it?"

I nodded. "We shall." I ripped the top off the box. Isabelle gasped while my eyes widened. Inside the box lay Valentine's head. His eyes were wide and there was blood crusted around the edges of his mouth. "Let us be glad that Clary is not with us right now."

Simon reached in the box. "There's a note." He unfolded the ivory paper and read it aloud. "Let this be a warning."

"Who could it be from?" Isabelle asked.

"It just has a smiley face," Simon responded.

No excuse for why I haven't gotten something up. You're probably a little angry so I'm going to bite my tongue and let you guys have this chapter.

Who do you think did this to Val? And told ya I wasn't done with him.
