When we awoke, I felt as if we were being watched. I slowly stood, so I didn't wake Pearl, and began to draw my sword. I heard the familiar chuckle of my mentor, The Hero of Time, "Am I interrupting something?" I let go of my blade and reply, "No mentor. I was resting and Pearl decided to stay with me. Nothing happened." My mentor chuckled again and said "I bet you wish something had happened though." Shocked to hear my mentor say this I reply "Forgive me for saying this, but I don't see why that's any of your business mentor." For the third time he chuckled and said "Alright, alright, I was just asking a simple question." He nods towards his former home in Kokiri Forest and says "I'm going to visit the Deku Tree Sprout and Saria today, would you like to join me?" I consider but then remember what the future Zelda told us to do. I tell him "Sorry mentor but we're needed in the other Link's time, mentor. He nods and says "Well, if I don't see you before you go forward to his time, see ya." He starts to walk away but he stops and turns around. "When you get back to Termina, give this to Romani." He tosses me a small quiver of arrows and a bow that seemed perfect for a child of Romani's size and build. "Tell her that it's from a friend." I put the bow and quiver away in my magic pouch and tell him I will give it to her. "See ya Gold, and from now on, don't refer to me as mentor. It makes me sound old!" It's my turn to chuckle as I reply, "Okay Fairy Boy." breaking out into laughter as I use Malon's nickname for him.

(a few hours later)

After everyone's awake, we set out with a bottle of Lon-Lon Milk each, best milk in Hyrule. The others decide it's best if I lead us, as I had been here before. I led them to the castle and convinced the guard to lets us in the front gate, at the cost of ten rupees per person. I lead them to a hole where the Hero of Time snuck in when he was younger. Pearl and I would fit, but Link and Ilia wouldn't. So I did the next most reasonable thing to do, blow it up. Ilia freaked out, thinking the guards would hear it. "Don't worry, the guards are stupid." (5 minutes later) "AHHHHHH!" we all scream as the guards throw us out one by one. I get PO'd and say "You know what? I didn't want to do this but, looks like I have to." I sigh as I pull out the horn of Ganon and show it to the guard at the gate. He lets us into the castle quickly and we sneak over to Zelda's Courtyard.

(Zelda's POV)

I hear a calm voice say "Princess." I turn and am faced by two young men and two young women. Both young men resembled Link closely one's tunic being gold and the other's being a forest green. Both young women had dirty blonde hair. One sported a pink tunic while the other wore a light green tunic. All of them carried swords. The men's on their backs and the women's at their sides. The one in gold said, "Please pardon the interruption, we need your help Princess Zelda." He had urgency in his voice but it also held something else, fear maybe. I responded in a calm voice, "Who asks for my assistance?" The one in gold replies that he is the apprentice of the Hero of Time. When I ask for proof, he pulls out the horn of the demon king of thieves Ganon. He then introduces them as Gold, referring to himself, Pearl, the girl in pink, Ilia, the girl in green, and to my surprise Link. He explains that Dark Link sent them back to our time from a time of twilight taking over Hyrule. I tell them, "The only way I could think of is to find the activated 'timeshift stone' and deactivate it." They turn and leave, looking quite disappointed. I feel bad for not being able to help but I have other business to attend to.

(Gold's POV)

"Dang it! I thought for sure Zelda could help us." I exclaim. "I'm gonna go blow off some steam." I say as I walk off towards Kakariko Village. I walk in the village and past Anju. "Hi Gold!" I wave to signal I had heard her. I then walk to the graveyard and summon as many Poes as I can during the day. I destroy all of them with a single swipe of my blade. I teleport to the entrance of the Shadow Temple and walk in. I demolish every single one of the enemies I encounter. After a good venting session, I go back to where I left the others. Little did I know they had gone looking for me. I found them at the bottom of the well dungeon. Cornered by three Re-Deads. I saved them by playing the Sun's Song. I was about to go talk to them when I was pulled down.

I'm gonna leave you guys with a little cliffhanger. Who grabbed Gold? Why didn't the other Link save Ilia and Pearl? WHY AM I ASKING YOU?!
