A/N: A really, really short intro to the sequel of "THE ROAR OF SILENCE". This one aims to be more serious and darker than the first part and loads of graphical violence in the later chapter.
I might end up increasing the rating to "M" if I need to.
The subsequent chapters will be longer...this is just a peek preview, to be honest. I will be updating once a month.

THE ROAR OF SILENCE: ZEREF'S PLAN
CHAPTER 01: DARKER THAN THE SHADOWS PAST
The hallowed land of the Fairy Tail guild looked lonely in the slanting rays of the setting sun. The tall tree with its gently shady canopy looked forward to another night of quiet slumber before the dawn awoke the little birds that called its branches home. But today, unlike the usual cacophony of the avian species, the island was deathly quiet. The reason being a young man clad in black clothes and white toga who sat next to a shallow lake, as if wallowing in grief deepened by the passage of time.
"I have told you many times, Zeref. Tenrou Island does not approve your presence," said Mavis Vermilion angrily, her little size in antithesis with her burning rage.
"But it is the only place humans won't find me. Consider it to be an appalling change of heart, but I do not desire the presence of humans in my vicinity who crave the dark powers for their twisted desires," Zeref answered, his rich, velvety voice washing over the area.
"That being said by the very man considered to be at the epitome of negativity, I find it hard to believe," Mavis scoffed, shimmering into appearance in front of him.
"Ironical, the mage I fear the most is the one who barely reaches up to my shoulders," he said softly, looking the erstwhile first master.
That made Mavis puff out her cheeks in anger.
"I think your guild members have inherited that immature streak of yours," Zeref said, looking up at the sky.
"They will defeat you Zeref," she said, a hint of stubbornness in her voice.
To her surprise, he smiled.
"The funny fact is, I really hope they defeat me this time for good."
