Paige slammed the elevator button. "Are you hormonal or just plain crazy?" she asked sarcastically, her hand gesturing around her in exacerbation.

Prue smiled innocently at her. "Why are you yelling at me for?" she feigned ignorance. "I didn't do anything, he did!" she pointed to her now very visible stomach.

"And whose idea was it?!" Paige challenged.

"Well, why is it that just because I have a visible baby bump, means that everyone is allowed to automatically touch it?!" Prue shot back defiantly, and a bit childishly, as she now glared at the frozen people on the floor.

"Prue, that is not a good enough reason to freeze people!" Paige chastised, and Prue batted her eyelashes innocently at her. "I think it is!" she retorted cheekily, as she stepped onto the elevator. As soon as she set a foot inside, the room unfroze. Paige smiled at the woman who was making her way towards them with every intention of firing off a storm of question at Prue, her hands already preparing to touch her round stomach. Paige followed her sister inside, still glaring. "No wonder Chris grows up to be such a neurotic little version of you!" she deadpanned, and Prue chuckled, almost proudly at the sonogram picture in her hand.

"So how do you feel?" Paige wondered, and Prue frowned at her. "You know about what the doctor said."

"He didn't tell me anything that I didn't already know. He said I was having a perfectly healthy baby boy! And since I've seen him twenty-two and walking around, that's not much news. I wish he told me a way to make sure I don't screw this up!" she sighed in defeat.

"You didn't screw anything up, he's a great kid. He risked everything by coming here, just to save Wyatt and the rest of us. That says a lot about how you raised him," Paige soothed.

Prue opened her mouth to argue, when the man in question appeared before her. "Hey, how did it go?"

Prue grinned mischievously at him. "Well, I think you'll be happy to know that you're a boy!" she exclaimed excitedly, holding the sonogram up for him to see. Paige craned her neck around to get a better look, before she knitted her eyebrows together. "I don't see it."

Prue turned the picture towards her sister. "See it's…." she was cut off by Chris as he snatched the picture away from her. "Oy! Do you mind?!" he was appalled.

"It's not like I won't be changing a million diapers soon enough!" Paige stuck her tongue out at him, when he rolled his eyes at her.

The elevator beeped as they reached the underground parking, and they made their way towards Prue's car. "Where's your sister?" Prue wondered.

"Magic school with Aunt Phoebe and Aunt Piper, they went to do some research on prophecies that might help us figure out who turned Wyatt, or maybe even ancient wizards who have left some clues as to this unspeakable force," he told her and she groaned.

"I don't understand what you have against Magic School," Paige commented as they got inside.

"I don't have anything against the school, it's the headmaster I have an issue with!" she grumbled.

"You're still angry because he didn't let you guys know about the school sooner?" Chris chimed in, and Prue pondered his question for a second. She already knew the answer to it, but she just wasn't sure she was ready to share her thoughts. Her silence, however, was all the clue the other two Halliwells needed to realize something was up.

"Prue, what is it?" Paige asked worriedly.

Prue sighed. "I don't know. But something about Gideon rubs me the wrong way. I don't trust him one bit," she admitted.

"The same wrong way Cole rubbed you when you first met him?" Paige pressed, and Prue fell silent. She merely looked at her from the corner of her eye, and said nothing. But she didn't have to, they both knew the answer.

Piper and Phoebe were sitting amongst a large pile of books, each with a book in her hand as they looked through it. Sigmund was hovering over them, handing them books from the higher shelves. This had been the routine for the past couple of months, they had tried to move Prue to the safety of Magic School when the demonic attacks seemed to go sky high once news of the pregnancy broke, but she told them that it would only happen over her dead body. So they all went about their jobs as usual, both mundane and supernatural, and spent any other minute in the library trying to find a clue as to who did this. Andie had grown quite fond of the preschool program they had at the school, and she was over the moon that there were other kids like her, aside from Wyatt.

They both looked up at the sound of heels approaching the library, Phoebe beamed happily at the sight of her pregnant older sister. "How did the doctor's appointment go?" she asked, as Sigmund came back down.

"I'm having a boy!" Prue exclaimed excitedly, and Phoebe laughed.

"Oh really! Now that's a surprise," she teased her nephew who was still holding on to his sonogram like his life depended on it.

"Where's Andie?" Prue inquired.

"In the nursery with Wyatt," Sigmund answered her. She nodded, before she spun around and headed in said direction. Paige turned to Sigmund and smiled politely at him. "Sigmund, do you mind giving us a minute?"

"Of course." And with that, he left the room, making sure to close the doors behind him.

"Chris," Paige turned to him, and he nodded. He waved his hand around them, and a white glow surrounded the room.

"What was that about?" Piper wondered.

"I just wanna make sure no one is eavesdropping," Paige stated simply.

"At Magic School?" Phoebe was confused.

"Yeah. What's your read on Gideon?"

This made even less sense, and both Piper and Phoebe shared a look. "Well, he….uh…..he's not the most forthcoming person, and has a habit of letting us figure things out on our own," Phoebe beat around the bush. Truth was, she always had a funny feeling around Gideon, and when she tried to read him, she didn't get the usual read she got off of Elders. But she didn't have any proof, and she didn't want to alarm her sisters. Especially the two with children, they had a tendency to over react.

"We don't want a calculated guess, we want to know what your powers as an empath tell you?" Chris cut her off.

"Like I said, he's not the most forthcoming person…." She trailed off, and Piper narrowed her eyes at her. "You mean you sense deceit," she suggested, and Phoebe merely looked at the ground.

Before anyone could say anything, the doors to the library swung open, and Prue walked in with Wyatt perched on one hip, and Andie walking beside her. "We need to go." Was all she said.

They all knew that tone, it's the don't-you-dare-argue-with-me tone, and they all knew better than to argue. They simply stood up, and left in one way or another. They appeared in their living room, and Piper immediately took Wyatt away from Prue, who plopped down onto the couch, and kicked off her shoes. Andie, rather than go play with her toys, snuggled up to her mother and looked rather pensively at the others. Almost as if she was afraid of repercussions.

"What is it, Prue?" Phoebe asked, noticing the grave look her sister had. Prue simply looked at Andie who was now almost hiding within her mother's arms. "Sweetie, why don't you tell them what you told me?"

Andie looked up at Prue, and then back at everyone else, but still didn't say a word. Piper perched herself on the coffee table in front of Prue, and bent forward to be at eye-level with Andie. "Sweetie," she cooed, placing a calming hand on Andie's knee. "You know you can tell us anything, we won't get mad," she soothed.

"Today when Wyatt was sleeping, I was playing on the floor with my dolls," she started, her voice heavy with both confusion and a bit of fear. Piper smiled at her reassuringly, and after she took a deep breath, she continued. "Mr. Gideon came into the room, and said that he was checking on me and Wyatt. Asked me if we wanted anything. I said no, but he kept moving closer to me…..and then…." She trailed off, and looked up at her mother once more.

"It's okay, baby. You're doing great, keep going," Prue encouraged.

"When he came too close, Wyatt's shield went up!" she finally said, and all the adults – save for Prue – gaped at her. They knew that Andie didn't like Gideon either, but they thought she was merely picking up on Prue's feelings. But Wyatt raising his shield around him was definitely not him picking up on Prue's feelings. Otherwise, he would've been raising his shield around Chris the second he tumbled through the portal.

"Well, that changes everything," Chris remarked.

"You were saying?" Paige turned to Phoebe, who shook her head at the mere thought of what this meant.

"What are you talking about?" Prue asked, Phoebe sighed audibly in frustration.

"Well, I've been getting weird signals off of him. I thought he was hiding something, but I figured it's the Elder's usual secrecy, and all that crap about timing, and the Grand Design," she ranted.

"And if I told you that I get the same feeling off of him that I got off of Cole?" Prue alluded, and both sisters gasped softly.

"Then it becomes more than just mere paranoia! He's not to be trusted!" Piper declared with finality.

So I know that it's short, especially after a year long wait, but it was finally written so I decided to upload it.

For those of you who are still following the story, I owe you a very big thank you, and an even bigger apology. It was never my intention to leave it like that for a year, but I was seriously blocked.

Good news is, I don't think that's gonna be an issue any longer. I think I figured out how to wrap things up nicely. So updates should be more regular now.

Thank you all for your patience.
