A/N: I can't believe I finished this...and it took me so long to write, too! Sorry it's so short. But I promise FOR SURE that next chapter will be longer :) So...here's today's Pothena fill!

Athena rose early, blinking as Apollo set off to rise the sun. "Good morning!" Aphrodite sang. "There's a young man waiting at the gate. But I thought it would be better if you changed in here."

"Thank you."

"Don't thank me." Aphrodite insisted. "But maybe the god waiting for you should."

Athena sighed. There was no end to this 'love' business with Aphrodite, was there? "Back gate?"

"Yes. Your father won't be pleased if he sees you leaving Olympus with a male god."

'Speaking of which...' Athena thought. "Who have you found to help me?" She inquired. Aphrodite smiled, holding a finger to her lips. "Ask his name when you meet him. To prove I sent him, a mark of a dove will be on the inside of his forearm."

Athena nodded. "Good. Then I shall see you in three day's time." She took the bundle of mortal clothes, noticing the silver embroidery on the hem at the bottom of the dress and at the neckline. It was black, sleeveless, and anything but simple. Athena dared not question the gift; for a gift is received thankfully, and without question. Aphrodite grinned. "See you later. Have fun!"

Athena slipped through the halls quietly, holding her new sandals in her hands, walking barefoot. She ducked behind a suit of shining armor (probably her father's) as a satyr trotted past. As she stepped out from behind the armor, heavy footsteps echoed through the polished, white marble hall. Athena held her breath, hoping that whoever was coming would turn a different corner.

As she quickly hid behind the armor, it shook, the noise carrying. The footsteps halted. "Who's there?" A deep called out sharply. Athena peeked out, her dark hair tumbling out from behind the suit of armor. The footsteps grew louder, but were slower. "Why are you hiding?" The man yanked on Athena's arm, and she sprawled out on the marble floor, her hood falling off.

"A-Athena?"

Athena looked up angrily at the god. "You didn't have to yank on my arm." She muttered. "I may be a goddess, but I can still feel pain." The god smirked. "And I don't think any less of you for it."

"Can I go now? I'm running late."

"Late for what?"

"If you must know, I am leaving Olympus for three days. Aphrodite has provided me with an escort. He is waiting for me at the back gate."

"Are you sure that is a good idea? You don't know how unpredictable Aphrodite can be."

Athena's grey eyes hardened. "I am perfectly capable of taking care of myself, thank you very much." The god's eyes froze over. "Very well." He said, his voice steely. "But one more thing, goddess of wisdom." Athena brushed off her dress, and looked up, glaring at him. "And what might that be?"

In a moment faster than the speed of light, the god took Athena's chin and kissed her lips almost forcefully. He pulled away, staring at the goddess longingly. "Remember that, when you enter into the mortal world. Remember how much that means to me, and possibly you as well."

The god turned sharply on his heels and walked in the other direction, his sparkling green robes turning into the colors of a powerful storm. Athena stood there, in the middle of the hallway, for a time, staring at the place the god was. She smiled faintly, gently touching her lips with her fingertips.

"I promise, that whatever happens on Earth, I will always remember you." She declared softly. "And I will always love you, Poseidon."

The goddess of wisdom had reached the large, white and gold marble gates at last. There was a hooded man- a godling- by the gates. He looked up and not taking off his hood, smiled. "Hello goddess."

A/N: So, how did you like it?! Of course it was brilliant. It always is. I have a few question for you...

1. WHO ELSE ENJOYED THAT KISS?! *gargantuan crowd goes wild* I thought so :)

2. Who do you think the hooded man is?! I'm not telling, you have to guess!

And 3..Should I bring in Medusa (who is still only a beautiful young maiden..) and her sisters, Stheno and Eurayle (or however you spell her name). Remember, they aren't the three Gorgons yet.
