Weeks had passed and the Saints were taking care of the Syndicate and STAG. We hit them when they least expected it. Also, Johnny and I had gotten closer as friends. We began to hang out and pretend as if the past didn't exist. We were just focused on the future.

I climbed out of my car as Johnny waited for me by Kinzie's warehouse. I walked up to him and looked around.

"Why did you want to meet up here?" I asked. Johnny chuckled.

"You'll see." He said. He grabbed my hand and led me up the stairs to the roof of her ware house. I looked at the scenery of the ocean around me.

"Wow." I said surprised. "Steelport's ocean is beautiful."

"Yeah, unlike it's shitty town." Johnny said from behind me.

"Why did you bring me up here?" I asked, not looking away from the scenery.

"Only the most beautiful sight in Steelport for the most beautiful girl in Steelport." My eyes widened and I turned to look at him.

"What?" I asked confused. He smiled. "Why would you say that?"

"Because, it's true." My eyes got even bigger.

"Wait, what?"

"Shaundi, you can't take any subtle hints, can you?" Johnny asked. I shrugged. He sighed. "I'm trying to hit on you, girl!" He exclaimed. I began to laugh.

"Why?" I asked in between laughs. Johnny frowned.

"Because, I.." he stopped and I ceased my laughing. I drew in a deep breath.

"You what?" I asked. Johnny inched closer to me and grabbed my hands.

"Shaundi, these past few days have been amazing. Us hanging out and kicking ass together. It's been fun and I've realized that I-"

"Stop Johnny." I cut him off and pulled my hands away from his. "You don't like me. You like the fact that I don't look like a greased up fucking hippy that doesn't get baked when she's about to fight. You like the fact that I'm ten times hotter now. You don't really like me." Johnny sighed.

"Is that it then? You're gonna push me away?" He asked.

"Push you away?"

"You have been leading me on!"

"How have I been leading you on?!" I exclaimed.

"Forget it, Shaundi. Just fuck everything!" Johnny stormed away and left the roof of Kinzie's warehouse, leaving me alone.

...

I lay on my couch, staring at my ceiling, thinking of how I fucked things up between me and Johnny.

"Oh, Shaundi. You couldn't have just accepted that? You just had to open your big mouth?" I asked myself. I sighed and closed my eyes to fall asleep.

But, of course my sleep had to be disturbed my someone knocking on the door. I groaned as I got up and opened the door. There stood Johnny.

"Johnny?" I asked confused. He walked past me into my home.

"About today." He said.

"It's ok."

"No. I shouldn't have yelled at you like that, but you were wrong. I don't like you, I love you. And I don't love you for those reasons. Yeah, you are pretty hot, but it's also because you're an amazing girl." He explained. My eyes widened.

"Really?" I asked. He nodded.

"And thanks to you, I'm going fucking soft and I can't get enough of you." He said. I smiled. "Can there be an us?" he asked.

"I don't know." I sang. "Can there?" I asked. He sighed and shrugged. I nodded my head. "Yeah, I suppose. Just, don't ever leave us." I said.

"I won't."

"Promise?"

He sighed. "Promise."
