The green haired man was standing behind a dark brown hardwood door, hand ghosting above the doorbell. He was feeling extremely nervous. He should ring the damned bell but he also felt like running away. But deep inside him he knew that he had to do this. He couldn't postpone it any longer. It needed to be now or never. He wasn't going to screw up this chance, which was probably his last one. After taking a deep breath Zoro finally rang the doorbell and moved his weight nervously from one leg to another, waiting nervously.

Zoro had called Sanji three days after the competition and they had agreed to meet on the next weekend. The marimo would have wanted to get it over and done with sooner but because of their jobs they couldn't. He felt stupid for being this nervous. It was like he was a teenager again, a stupid teenager instead of a grown-up man. Of course he was happy that the cook had invited him over to spend time together. But the other man knew well enough that they weren't going to just hang out like old friends. They needed to talk things through, like grown-ups this time. After the competition after-party Zoro had a strong feeling that their relationship, if you could call it like that anymore, would slowly get better from now on. Or at least he hoped so. He really needed to watch his mouth this time, hopefully Sanji would do that too.

The swordsman was cut short with his thoughts when the door flung open, revealing a nervous looking blond man with a curly eyebrow Zoro loved so much.

"Oh, you're already here. I didn't expect you to come this early," Sanji stuttered and opened the door more to let the other man in.

"I said that I would come around noon, didn't I? And it's eleven, so it's somewhere around," Zoro explained with a shrug and walked in, taking his shoes and jacket off.

The blond felt like facepalming right now. Leave it to the shitty marimo to decide the time and then this happens. His vision of things is really something unique. Sanji walked to the living room and gestured Zoro to sit down as he strolled to the kitchen to make some tea for them.

"Thanks for coming anyway. I can make lunch a bit later if you want to stay that long."

"Oh yeah, sounds good. I will stay," Zoro replied as he sat down.

He looked around himself and took in the surroundings. He had never been in Sanji's new apartment and to tell the truth, it felt kind of weird. They used to live together for so long and now here he was sitting in his ex-lover's OWN apartment. God, he wouldn't have believed this to happen when they ended up dating over two years ago. Of course he knew that nothing would last forever but he didn't think that THIS would end how it did. But well, now Zoro is here to fix the situation as well as he can.

Something in the bookshelf caught Zoro's attention. There was a big photo album resting against some random cooking books and novels. The album looked awfully familiar. He stood up and walked over to take a better look. It was their album. Sanji had forced Zoro to organise all the photos with him one dark autumn night when they didn't have anything better to do. The green head never really noticed that it was missing but now he recognised it right away when he saw it. Out of curiosity the man grabbed the photo album and opened it warily. It's the very same album that Sanji looked through that evening when he came to gather his stuff and they ended up having sex… and breaking their hearts even more.

"Being a sap over old memories, are you now, moss head?"

Zoro was so startled that almost dropped the album. Hurriedly he put it away and turned around to look at Sanji. He just grunted as an answer, too embarrassed to say anything. He saw some pictures that he remembered. They radiated warm and nice feelings, the memories he missed so much, the times when everything was fine and the way how things were supposed to be. The blond cook caught Zoro's nostalgic expression and hummed lowly. He walked next to him and took the album from the shelf again and opened it. He opened some random page and smiled at the pictures. Last time they looked through the pictures things ended up to be rather… heated. But he wouldn't do the same mistake this time. He didn't want to ruin things now when they were finally settling down after the raging storms they had to go through.

The marimo stood motionlessly beside Sanji and eyed the pictures with him. They didn't say anything, just concentrated on the memories and let them surround their minds. Minutes flew by as they looked through all the photos in the album. Eventually they reached the end and Sanji closed the album, caressing the leather covers fondly. He looked up at Zoro who was still quiet. He expected the other man say something but instead he smiled dreamingly.

"At least you saved all the photos, huh. I expected you to destroy all the things that had something to do with me," Zoro finally said. He didn't mean anything bad with the words and the teasing edge was easily heard in his voice.

The cook snorted and put the album away, mumbling something that he wasn't THAT stupid. Without saying anything else Sanji walked to back to the kitchen where he came from to stalk the green head. He had decided to make lunch anyway now already instead of serving tea. He made quickly a simple warm avocado salad and set the table after cleaning his mess, gesturing Zoro to come over and eat.

The beginning of the lunch was a little bit awkward, more or less. Both men stared at their plates and ate quietly, not saying a word to each other. Sanji squirmed slightly in his seat. He wanted to say something so bad, but didn't know how to start the conversation and break the ice. It was probably too cliché to start talking about the weather or some shit like that. He knew perfectly well that the weather outside was shitty so there was no need to talk about it.

Zoro was feeling pretty much the same as Sanji without knowing it. He knew that he was here for a reason. And that reason was to talk more about this weird situation. They had made some kind of peace back in the pub a few days ago and agreed to not care about the past anymore. Everything was forgiven. Or so he thought. Sanji wouldn't have invited him over if he was still mad at Zoro, right? The green haired man started to think that maybe it was his responsibility to start the conversation and the process. He was the one who started the whole mess after all. He needed to kick his own sorry ass to do something.

"So, are you with that Sato-guy? How are things between you?"

Oh great, what a wonderful topic he just chose! Zoro wanted to slap himself for that. He didn't want to talk about the guy who was pretty much glued to Sanji and eating his face in the club and God knows what other places they used to that, probably this very same apartment too. That thought gave him bad chills.

Sanji's fork stopped in mid-air on its way to his mouth and the man stared at Zoro with surprised eyes. The green head stared back with a questioning look, having mixed feelings if he really wanted to hear the answer or not. Honestly, he felt like running away now. But he didn't have the chance for that when Sanji suddenly chuckled and placed the fork down.

"No, I'm not in a relationship with him. There's nothing between us. We are barely friends now after what I did…" Sanji finally answered and kept gazing into Zoro's eyes.

The swordsman was more than just a little bit surprised. Of course he was happy as hell but also surprised. Those two seemed so close and… oh what the hell?! Why is he even pondering this anymore? Sanji isn't with Satoshi which means that he's a free man. No one is going to take him away from him now. HE was going to take him back, sooner or later. Zoro was sure about it.

Sanji observed Zoro's expression changing from confused to triumphant. A wide grin spread on his face, lighting it up completely. That face made the blond's insides warm up nicely. He had missed that stupid face, the expression that made Zoro look so much younger. The cook grinned back, unable to hold himself back. He was also happy that he was a free man. The silence between them lasted for a little longer until the green haired man coughed slightly and continued eating before the delicious meal would get cold.

The both men glanced at each other every now and then, the awkward tension coming back like a boomerang, hitting them hard. But neither of them dared to say anything. Maybe it would be better to finish the lunch first before getting down to business. When the plates were empty and Sanji had forced Zoro to eat some more, they were both sitting on the couch, watching TV. There wasn't anything interesting going on though, it was more like out of habit.

Sanji had so many big plans for this day and this moment but none of them seemed to be fitting in this situation. None of his previously planned topics seemed to be relevant or good in any way. Damn, why was it so hard?! This is Zoro for Christ's sake! He knows how to deal with this moss brain, or at least should know. He wanted his idiotic marimo back, yes, but how? He wasn't even sure if Zoro wanted it. But by the way Zoro had been acting today, the other man wanted it too. So why were they making the whole thing so goddamn hard? Sanji made a mental note that that's the way they have always been. They are both stubborn fuckers and neither of them wants to give in. That's how they roll. And that's why they argue so often. The blonde snorted mentally at that. How could he even love a relationship like that, he had no idea.

The green head stared at the TV screen when he felt a warm hand on his thigh. His head perked up and caught Sanji's slightly guilty and nervous face when he looked down, firmly keeping his hand on the other man's thigh. That's all what Zoro needed.

The cook was about to look up and see how his stupid ex reacted to his touch, ready to see a frown or something similar to that. But there wasn't any. The only thing he saw was Zoro's serious face getting dangerously close. Slowly it came closer and closer until it was only an inch away and stopped there. Sanji swallowed nervously as Zoro silently gave the reins to him to be able to finish it or pull back and leave the moment. There's wasn't going anything inside Sanji's head when he slowly pressed his lips against Zoro's. He didn't need to think anymore.

The marimo was more than relieved when he felt the warm lips against his. He pressed back slightly, smiling into the kiss. A little piece of hope started growing inside him, making him believe that everything was going to be fine, finally.

Zoro's hand slid smoothly along Sanji's thigh as they kissed, letting go of his thoughts. The blond cook hummed lowly into the kiss and tilted his head a bit more. Those oh, so familiar lips felt so much better than anyone else's. He wanted only these lips.

The kiss was cut short though when Zoro pulled back and licked his lips slightly, tasting the cook still on them. He didn't want to take this too far before he was completely sure that it was okay with the curly brow as well. Sanji had still his eyes closed when they parted and his cheeks had a slight pink tint on them, just like Zoro's. Slowly he fluttered his eyes open and stared at the serious and blushing face in front of him. If the situation had been different he would have laughed at the sight; it was adorable. But now the serious look made him slightly confused. That silly grass head was surely thinking too much again.

"What is it?" Sanji asked and poked the other man's forehead gently with his index finger, making Zoro frown and slap his hand away.

"I want to make sure that nothing is going to end up into a disaster if we really are getting down to… this," Zoro explained himself and waved his hand between them, showing the "this".

Sanji shook his head with a sigh and cupped Zoro's both cheeks, squeezing them slightly.

"I want this, apparently you want this too, so there aren't any problems. Or at least I don't see any. I'm tired of this already. I want your sorry ass back… I'm still angry about what you did but hey, I'm not perfect either, like you have noticed," the blond spoke calmly, keeping the eye contact. "Anyways, my point is that if you want it, I'm ready for all of this. Getting back together and all that shit coming with it."

Zoro couldn't believe his ears. Sanji was really willing to take him back. His eye darted on his new-found lover's face, desperately searching any signs of joking or lying. But of course he didn't find any. He was only faced with honest and a bit awkward and embarrassed smile. Slowly a big grin crept on his face, almost splitting it in two. The slim hands still on his cheeks, Zoro leaned closer again and pulled Sanji into a bone crushing hug. The poor man yelped and tried to struggle out of the death grip, fearing for his ribs. The grinning man didn't let go, though. He would never let go anymore. He kissed the cook's neck and whispered in a deep, rumbling voice:

"I'm all yours, ero-cook…"

Those words that Sanji had longed to hear for a while now, made him shudder all over. His hands fell down limply before wrapping around the marimo, hugging him just as tightly. Sanji's face was buried in the crook of Zoro's neck so he could take in the musky scent. The man seemed to still use the same after-shave that the blonde always bought him. He smiled to himself, thanking his luck that they were now both here, together.

The hug lasted for a long moment since the lovers didn't feel like letting go at all. The comfort that surrounded them was way too pleasant. Zoro's lips travelled on Sanji's pale neck, planting little butterfly kisses here and there. The blonde tilted his head at that, revealing more of his skin. Zoro could be awfully sweet sometimes, especially when he knew exactly what place to touch and how.

The both men couldn't stop touching and feeling up each other as much as possible, like the other one could disappear at any moment. They were desperate to feel more and more.

"Wanna stay over the night as well?" Sanji managed between the kisses they were sharing eagerly.

Zoro didn't respond right away, he was too busy licking his boyfriend's earlobe. But when he stayed silent for too long he earned a hit on his shoulder so he had to answer.

"Only if you don't run away in the morning."

"Tch, idiot. I wouldn't run away from my own home," the blond man snorted with a smirk.

The other man rolled his eyes and huffed before resuming his work on Sanji's neck. The cook couldn't help but chuckle. It was settled then. He felt butterflies going crazy in his stomach, it felt like it was their first night together. And it kind of was. They were a couple now, again, after a way too long break. It was about a time to spend a good day and night together.

Slowly the kissing and soft touching turned into more heated touching and clothes started piling up on the floor next to the couch. The kisses weren't limited only in the neck area anymore; they reached all around the warm bodies now. Zoro was lying on the couch as Sanji hovered over him, slowly grinding against him. Soft moans escaped their lips as they got more excited every passing second. The green head wasn't going to be any more passive than Sanji even if he was just lying around. His hands massaged his lover's butt cheeks, drawing more moans out of the man. The grinding grew more frantic, the naked groins rubbing against each other in attempt to create pleasurable friction.

The excited states of their bodies made the men almost frustrated, the grinding and touching weren't enough anymore. Zoro's hand made its way between their bodies and started stroking their lengths against each other. Sanji let out a pleased hiss and bowed his head slightly to hide his madly blushing face. But like Zoro would give a shit if he was blushing or not, the moss head was pretty much in the same state.

While Zoro's hand worked on their erections, Sanji started looking around. The other man noticed the lack of his concentration.

"Oi, I'm down here, not in the bathroom," he snapped.

Sanji smacked his scarred chest and stood up, already missing the hot touch on his heated flesh. He mumbled something about lube before disappearing to the said bathroom. He had probably never taken a lotion bottle and ran back as fast as now. It was like a life and death question now. Zoro was more than pleased to see Sanji storming back, almost jumping on him. He quickly continued doing what he was forced to stop doing.

They were soon again one big moaning and panting mess as Sanji started preparing himself for the further actions. His now slick fingers slid inside him, slowly driving him crazy. Zoro enjoyed the show a little bit too much. He was sure that he would burst only from watching. He helped Sanji as much as he could though; touching and kissing him everywhere he could reach. Together they got the job done rather quickly and it was the green head's turn to get slick. The blonde guided the lubed cock inside him, lowering his hips ever so slowly.

The beginning was slow and torturing for both of them. Sanji had to go slow since it had been for a while from the last time he had sex. And that time was actually with Zoro… He gasped for air when the other man's length was finally completely sheathed inside him. The green haired man had to put all his concentration together as well to prevent himself from coming right away when the incredible feeling surrounded him. They both stayed still for a good moment before Sanji slowly started rocking his hips to and fro, up and down.

Zoro's eyes rolled back in his head in pure bliss as he let out a throated man when Sanji started moving. His hand flew automatically to his powerful hips. He supported and helped him to move as much as he could. He let the blonde do the most of the work for a while before he started bucking his hips up to meet Sanji's. Their movements became soon almost frantic and desperate, craving for more.

Sanji left many angry red scratching marks on Zoro's broad chest but couldn't care less. The green head on the other hand bruised his cook's hips with his strong fingers. Well, at least they would have some memories from this. Because of the long hand job Zoro so kindly gave for both of them, the lovers were soon close to their limits. The blond man was the first one to reach it. He came with a many colourful moaned curses mixed with Zoro's name. The swordsman followed almost right after, the name of his lover escaping from his kiss bruised lips.

The two men were lying on the couch, glued to each other. Their bodies rose and sank in synch as they tried to catch their breaths. It took for a while for the both of them to realise what just happened. And they couldn't be happier about it. Zoro stroked lazily Sanji's now completely messy hair and smiled sleepily, his eyes still shining in pure joy and excitement. The blond cook almost purred under the touch and nuzzled the strong neck under his nose. He felt a bit sore, but it was totally worth it.

"Wanna have a round too? You can take me this time," the marimo suddenly blurted out, startling Sanji out of his nirvana-like state.

A sly smirk formed on the blond's lips. Like hell he would turn down an offer like that. He didn't say a word, only growled playfully before attacking Zoro's body in the most pleasurable way.

The rest of the day went really fast. By the end of it Zoro and Sanji were both completely exhausted after their many rounds of sex. They had to catch up all the time they were separated after all. Sanji managed to make a quick dinner before they drifted to the most comfortable sleep, staying close to each other for the whole night. It was hard for them to believe that they were finally back together but staying like this made it a little bit easier, helping the reality to kick in.

When the morning came Sanji was the first one to wake up, used to waking up early for work. While he cooked a feast-like breakfast for them he cursed the pain in his lower back and ass. But it made him feel kind of proud and happy to know that he had probably managed to cause Zoro feel just the same during the last day. He smiled at the memory as he kept his eyes on the frying pan where eggs were cooking nicely. He had missed this too, cooking a rich breakfast for both of them. And cooking every meal for that matter. Maybe he should start thinking about moving back in to his old home where Zoro was still living. It would be so much easier. But he wanted to take things slow, to not ruin them so he wasn't going to hurry with it. They had all the time.

Sanji didn't even notice when Zoro made his way sleepily to the kitchen, flinching slightly with every step. But he didn't give a shit. He came to hug Sanji from behind, placing his chin on the slimmer man's shoulder, startling him slightly. The cook kicked him lightly for that, he didn't like to be startled.

"Good morning, marimo. Slept well?" the blond asked casually after giving a little peck on his boyfriend's lips.

"Mmm… Morning…" was Zoro's reply, muffled in Sanji's naked shoulder. "Slept like a rock."

"As per usual," the blond teased and moved the pan away from the stove to finish the cooking. "Be a good moss ball and set the table for me. Breakfast is ready."

The green head grumbled but got to work since he didn't feel like getting kicked more than necessary first thing in the morning. The breakfast went nicely, just like it used to. It felt like they had never been apart. They chatted and argued while eating, sharing little kicks under the table every now and then as well. Sanji also had fun with teasing Zoro about their mini sex marathon.

Neither of them wanted to leave the apartment that day. Sanji knew that they were both too stubborn to admit anything but they really missed each other. They cuddled on the couch while watching TV and talking about random things. It felt good not to have any hurry to go anywhere or do anything in particular. They shared some kisses every now and then, more or less heated.

Everything seemed to be fine now. Sure they still had some things to talk through but now wasn't time for that. Many shitty things happened between them and it would surely take some time to gain the whole mutual trust back again. However it was no used to push it. They survived through those things, they would survive through this new start as well. The universe seemed not to agree them being separated, no matter what. And Sanji was happy about it, knowing that Zoro thought the same way. Their relationship has always been strong and it would just get stronger. Not even a drunken mistake could keep them apart forever.
