Mr Dickinson had finally cleared his office of the complainers and was at his wits end. He'd have to kick them out. He knew it. He'd have to kick the entire team out. But he doubted Kai would take that too well. Despite not being the most social person in the world he wasn't someone who liked to be denied on something he hadn't done. Not that he could particularly blame him on that.
Standing from his desk he grabbed his cane and made for the halls. He had an idea where they would be, because they sure as all hell would be hiding somewhere. They weren't stupid and they'd know they'd be being looked for by the entire hotel.
If he hadn't have been watching the front so diligently since they first were revealed to have been messing with the building he'd have suspected they'd gone home. But they hadn't which meant they'd be hiding somewhere. And probably somewhere obvious too. Obvious but obscure enough that they wouldn't think to look for them there.
Setting off with a specific place in mind he passed everyone on the way silent, offering their small nods of encouragement before leaving. His cane clacked in time with each step as he tried to think where else they would be if it wasn't there.
He stopped outside a closed hotel door, knocking twice before stepping back and waiting.
After a prolonged minute the door inched open, blue eyes and red hair appearing in the crack.
"Oh hey Mr Dickinson. What are you doing here?"
"I know they're in there Tala." He blanched, stepping back and letting the man push the door open completely, walking in with his face set in a hard frown.
The two turned around in confusion at the familiar voice, eyes widening comically as they laid eyes on Mr Dickinson, his eyes narrowed in annoyance and fingers clenched around his cane tightly.
"Yo Mr D." Ian waved a hand at the man, looking for some kind of reaction only to shy away at the glare given. It was like he hadn't expected the man to possess such an emotion, such a stark contrast to his cheery smile. It was almost alien.
The scowl was firmly set when he walked in to stand between them and the TV, his face twisting into further displeasure at the state of the place. Food and drink scattered everywhere, even the ceiling.
"Do you boys have any idea what you've done? You've thrown this entire place into anarchy, they're out for blood and you're damn lucky I got here before any of them did." His voice remained at a level tone but it was hard as ice, scary almost. As though he could flip out at any second and demolish everything and anything in his way. They knew better than to test him, the aura he gave off similar to Boris in its intensity but not as threateningly dangerous.
"Mr D, listen, it was just a joke. No one was seriously hurt after all." Ian reasoned
"You've put me in a difficult position boys, I hope you realise that." He walked to sit next to them, perching on the arm of the settee and rubbing his brow working out the kinks and smoothing over his eyebrows. He could feel all the tension there forming a headache and groaned silently. "I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do with you, I can't let you stay with all these people here but it wouldn't be fair to kick you all out for just the two of you."
"Mr Dickinson, just kick us out. I doubt we'd be doing much here anyway. You planned a kid's birthday party not a reunion for a bunch of twenty plus rivals. Kick us out and everyone will be a lot happier. Hell, you might even have some fun." Bryan stood, handing the old man a beer as he grabbed one himself. "We came, showed our faces now we can leave."
"Oh, but are you sure?"
"Yeah, we'll be good. I doubt Kai'd care and Spence is itching to get back home. He's been antsy since the second day. Though that may be our fault." He admitted with a laugh, the two boys throwing a look at each other while Tala and Mr Dickinson watched on exasperated.
"Alright boys, back your bags and hightail it out of here before the others get hold of you. I'd like to say it's been a pleasure having you here and seeing you again but honestly you've exhausted me." They laughed, shooing the old man off as they collapsed back onto the settee, in no hurry to get packing.
"You proud of yourselves?" Tala asked, though he couldn't deny that he was glad to be leaving. This entire escapade had been a mistake, just like he knew it would be. He'd called this before they even left and wasn't at all surprised to be proven right.
"Kinda. We got kicked out much quicker than I thought we would be." He had to agree there. Though honestly, he was still surprised they hadn't been kicked out when beating the former world champ. Mr Dickinson hadn't looked too pleased and he could have easily kicked them out making up a flimsy excuse and no one would have questioned it because that was their reputation.
"True, though we're the lucky ones. They're all stuck here forced to play kids when we go back to Kai's mansion." A sudden unsettled moon descended upon the three as they glanced to Tala. "You're coming back to Kai's too right?"
"Course, I doubt I'd be welcome back home. I'll be lucky if all my stuff wasn't burned."

It took them ten minutes to even start clearing away beer bottles and head back to their actual room. The halls empty of anyone as they sped up their pace, planning on being gone before the end of the day. That was if they could organise a lift. Even if Mr Dickinson didn't they were sure Kai could. The bluenette owned everything from limos to private jets, if anything what Kai arranged would be nicer.
They entered their hotel room, surprised to see the others already packing, bags on the couch which were obviously theirs.
"Hurry up we don't have all day." Spencer called, zipping his bag shut and moving onto another and another closed drawer.
"What? What's going on?"
"I ran into Dickinson trying to find you idiots. He told me what you'd agreed on so I came back, grabbed Kai and started him packing. I've never seen him move so fast." They glanced over to the bluenette, already seeing him move onto Tala's things, his own already packed and stood at the bottom of the bed.
"What the hell Kai, you that desperate to get out of here?" Bryan asked, the man glancing at them momentarily before turning back to his packing. Barely even acknowledging that his friends were talking.
"I'd take that as a yes."
"Well, I can't say I'd blame him. Get yourselves moving and your things packed."
They didn't argue, Tala going to help Kai pack the rest of his things.
"So why are you so desperate to get out of here?"
"I'm not really. I just can't help thinking about what we'll be doing once we get out of here. Cos I'm not letting you slip away from me again." He paused momentarily, grabbing Tala on the back of the neck and pulling him forwards, brushing their lips together in a ghost of a kiss. He smirked at the redhead's blush, going to kiss him properly only to be pushed away in a fluster, pulling a laugh from him.
"Shut up and get packing." Dropping his head he hoped his hair would fall and cover his face, though everyone had seen and chuckled. He complied though, neatly folding everything before stuffing it in.
They had all their bags packed in just under ten minutes, leaving them all together by the door as they waited for the call from Kai's driver, who he called as soon as they heard the news they were leaving.
The text came through and he gave a vague hand motion before grabbing his bags and moving to the door. The others following behind.
"So we're really leaving?" Ian asked, as though it had just sunk in that they has essentially been kicked out.
"Yes we're leaving. And good riddance honestly. We survived a few days, best get out while our sanities are intact."
That took the lift down, the thing having been out of order for most of their time here. They stood silently, holding their bags lightly as Ian dragged the suitcases. There was an undeniable excitement. Though they were being kicked out it felt as though this were only a beginning. Even's that had taken place over the last few days had completely shifted their future and they'd be damned if they didn't take advantage of it.
The doors dinged open and Kai's driver stood in the lobby. He bowed lowly to them and held his hand firmly to his chest.
"My lord, do you with for me to take your baggage?"
"That won't be necessary."
He rose from his bow and held the door open for them to leave, people stood at outside looking over the expensive limo, the paint shining and not a single scratch on it.
Opening the boot Kai dropped his bags in and moved for the others to do so. Despite appearances the boot was huge, it would easily accommodate everything. Spencer dropped his bags in and closed the lid, sliding into the open door of the limo as the driver closed it behind him.
They sat spread out in the blush back of the car, a small table sat in the middle holding drinks and snacks.
"Well that was eventful."
"No kidding. I'm glad it's over."
"Yes, and we're all heading back to mine. As much of a pain as you all are you're my pain."
Kai stretched out over the back of the seats, his arm wrapping around Tala's shoulder and pulling him closer.
"This is gonna be nice. Living in the mansion. Though we're gonna have to get rid of all Brooklyn's stuff and bring Tala's round." Bryan added. looking out the window as the hotel quickly shrunk a smile crossing his face.
They may have left early but it was certainly eventful.
I had intended for there to be two or three more chapters before the end but this felt like a good place to end it. So, thank you everybody who's read and reviewed. I really appreciate it. :D And I hope you enjoyed too.
