Vidia chased after Tink, but somehow she lost her. How the hell did a fast flyer lose a tinker while flying? That didn't matter right now though. She didn't have to think about following Tink, especially when she knew where she was going. All she had to worry about was getting to Queen Clarion first.

She flew into the tree and began searching for where the queen might be. There were dozens upon dozens of rooms and hallways in this tree and it would take a long while to find her. Vidia didn't have the patience for that and skipped to just asking people where they had seen her last.

A fairy with a tray of tea cups, sugar, a teapot, and some stirring spoons, past by. Vidia called after the fairy, "Hey! Where's that tray going to!"

The fairy turned around, "This tray?"

"Does anyone else have a tray?"

"Uh..." the fairy that had come from the tea room looked around, but found that they were the only ones in the hallway, "Uh, the Minister of Winter requested some tea to healing wing. The Minister of Autumn was-"

"No, no, no! I don't care! I'm looking for Queen Clarion."

"Last time I saw her, she was in the meeting hall."

"Thank you!" Vidia groaned sarcastically, finally the fairy had gotten to the point, and she wouldn't have to listen to whatever spiel she had about the Minister of Autumn.

The fast flyer zipped onward, knowing full well where the meeting hall was considering she was often sent there for causing trouble. When she arrived, the room was empty all except for a cleaning fairy picking up shards of glass off the floor. For a moment Vidia was worried about why there was shattered glass all over. At first she thought it might have something to do with Shade, but if it did, there would be panicking.

Vidia thought to ask what had happened, but she realized she was running out of time. "Where is Queen Clarion?"

"When I was asked to clean up this mess, she was on her way to her study."

"She better be there," Vidia thought, to herself, "I'm not going on a wild goose chase!"

The fast flyer took off once more and went straight to the Queen's study. This time, Queen Clarion was there, but she was alone. Tink as nowhere in sight and maybe that was a good thing.

"Queen Clarion!"

The queen looked up surprised, "Vidia?"

"Queen Clarion!" Tinkerbell shouted as she entered the room.

"Tinkerbell?" Clarion was now surprised and very confused, "What is going on here?"

The Tinker fairy burst into tears, "Queen Clarion, why! I should be locked up in that mountain too with Shade!"

"Wait, what!" the fairy got up from her desk and walked up to Tink, "Tinkerbell, what are you talking about?"

"Vidia told me everything! She told me all about what Shade did and I'm no better than him!"

"What?" the queen hugged Tinkerbell, "What are you talking about? Vidia! What did you tell her to make her think that!" Her voice wasn't considered yelling, but compared to the usual, peaceful tone this was pretty close. Clarion glared at the fast flyer standing in the doorway.

"Tink, there's something I have to tell you," Vidia cried.

"Vidia what did you tell her?" the queen demanded angrily.

"Tink I lied!" Vidia screamed in frustration, "I lied! I lied! I lied! Shade didn't set the sprinting thistles free... He created them."

Tink took a step forward and stared at her wide eyed, unable to believe what she had just heard, "What? Why?"

The Queen froze as the memory of what Shade did played in her mind. Without even thinking she answered for Vidia, "He wanted to take over Pixie Hollow. Shade used the sprinting thistles to attack the fairies, and tried to make me give him the crown. I couldn't do it... fairies were getting hurt and then Milori and-" Clarion began to choke on her sobs and sat back down at her desk.

Tink and Vidia stared over at their queen who was crying her eyes out. "Queen Clarion are you alright?"

"No, please. Please, just go!" the Queen cried as her tears began to roll down her red cheeks.

The two girls tiptoed out of the room and closed the door behind them. They were both astonished about how emotional Queen Clarion was and they weren't exactly sure what they could do. Should they go get Lord Milori? Wait, but she chucked a paperweight at him and he got so mad that he knocked down a tree! That wasn't much of a good idea.

"Tink, do you want to know what really happened?" Vidia asked after a few moments.

"No more lies?"

"I promise, come on, let's go down to the kitchen."

Tink sipped her lemonade as she tried to process what Vidia was telling her.

"Shade created the sprinting thistles to take over Pixie Hollow. I tried to convince him to stop, but he said he wouldn't do it until he proved himself. So he went with his plan and set them free in Spring Time Square during one of the Queen's inspections. Fairies were being hurt and the preparations were getting trampled. Shade threatened Queen Clarion that if she didn't hand over her crown and the kingdom that he would destroy everything. Then Lord Milori came and he saved her and all of Pixie Hollow. He even almost died."

The thought of Lord Milori dying made a shiver run through her. Tink subconsciously pushed her lemonade further away so her hands didn't have to touch it. What would it be like if Dewey had been left to rule over the winter fairies? What would have happened if he hadn't been there to save Peri's wings when they disobeyed the rule and crossed?

"Of course they locked Shade up, but when he was being locked away in the mountain he killed someone. Lord Milori couldn't save the fairy, but he was able to save himself. Shade deserves to be up in that mountain... Tink, you're nothing like him, you have to know that," Vidia sighed. This was the nicest she had ever been to anyone. In fact she was even trying to comfort someone, and not just anyone, but Tinkerbell in fact, over something she did. It made her feel kind of weird, almost nauseous, but at the same time as if the weight was being lifted off her shoulders.

"I know that now," Tink concluded. She knew for sure that this time Vidia was telling the truth. The only problem was that the Keeper had told her a completely different story. Why would Dewey come up such an elaborate story and lie about it? Why was it that whenever she seemed to get answers there were more questions to be asked?

I know it has been an insanely long time since I updated this story and I am so sorry about not updating in such a long while, and you all deserve an explanation, (for those of you who don't know already)

I've been having some health issues that have been interfering with my writing. I was diagnosed with Graves' Disease and along with that Hyperthyroidism. Together they effect my metabolism and my body's ability to use energy. Hyperthyroidism specifically causes my metabolism to be faster than it should and my body to process energy at a dangerously fast rate. So I have to take tons of medication and eat lots of food. The problem is that I run out of energy and am tired all the time. Those two together have cause me to be diagnosed with hypersomnia, it's when I am excessively tired and it's really been effecting me since last night I got home at 4:30 and fell asleep by 5:00. I slept through dinner, and woke up at 5:30 this morning. This isn't the first time I have slept through dinner and it really is becoming an issue.

So I have been writing, I'm not dead, and none of my stories have been abandoned, I've just been dealing with all that. I will be trying to update much more frequently. I hope you guys get back into reviewing my stories, and reading my other ones. Hope you liked this update!
