Sesshomaru was shocked and amazed when he entered his room and saw Tenseiga glowing and hovering over his brother's dead body.

"Sess, why's it doing that?" Kagomea asked.

"I do not know. The only time the sword has ever responded to me, is when I brought Rin back to life. It didn't do this though."

Kagome gasped. "You don't think this means that he can be brought back do you?" She asked with hope that her friend could be saved.

"I don't know. The sword should have reacted the moment Inuyasha died but it didn't do anything until now." Sesshomaru said.

"Well go on and try it!" Kagome urged.

Sesshomaru nodded and slowly approached the floating Tenseiga. He closed his eyes and said a quick prayer before grabbing the sword. When he opened his eyes he smirked when he saw the little imps from the underworld trying to carry off Inuyasha's soul.

"I don't think so." He said before slicing through them. Everyone, even Kagura held her breath as they waited to see what would happen next.

Seconds went by before Inuyasha's eyes flew open and he gasped sharply as he began to breath again.

"Inuyasha! It worked! You're back!" Kagome said with happy tears. Before he could respond, he was shocked when he found himself crushed to his brothers chest.

"Thank the gods that you're alive!" Sesshomaru whispered. He pulled away and gripped a blushing Inuyasha by the shoulders.

"Don't you ever leave us again little brother! I was so scared that we'd lost you. You and I have only just become true brothers. Do not die on me again Inuyasha. This Sesshomaru forbids it!" Sesshomaru growled as silent tears flowed down his face.

Inuyasha was shocked. "Are you...are you crying?" In all his life he'd never once saw his brother cry. Not even as a child and his mother had died did Sesshomaru cry.

"Yes. This Sesshomaru is not too proud to admit I am crying brother."

"You mean you're cryin because of me?"

"Yes you fool! You're my little brother and I thought that I had lost you forever!" Sesshomaru yelled as he started to become embarrassed over the way he was acting. Though he loved his brother and thought he'd lost him, he was still a man for crying out loud! He shouldn't be crying like a baby. Unfortunatly Sesshomaru's loud outburst scared the pups and they all began to cry.

Inuyasha finally got out of Sesshomaru's arms and saw Kagome standing there with a squirming bundle in her arms. When he saw Kagura standing there holding two other squirming bundles, his eyes hardened in hate.

"Kagura!" Inuyasha spat.

"Don't Inuyasha! She helped me! She's been under Naraku's control all this time. He's dead now so you have nothing to worry about when it comes to her." Kagome said.

Inuyasha sighed. "If you say so. But I'm still gonna be watchin you wench!" He said glaring at Kagura.

"It's as she says Inuyasha. I will not harm anyone." Kagura said.

Inuyasha growled. "You'd better not! I'll kill ya if you do!"

Kagome sighed. "Will you shut up and come over here and meet your nephews and neice?"

Inuyasha smiled. "So ya had two boys and one girl huh?" He said as he walked over to Kagura to see the two she held.

"Wow Sess. This one looks just like you, marks and all." He said.

Sesshomaru smiled. "That is our first born son. His name is Taisho. I named him after father. The little beauty that looks like Kagome was born second. Her name is Izayoi, after your mother."

Inuyasha's eyes widened. "You named her after my mother?"

Kagome smiled. "If you think that's a shocker, just wait until you hear this little guys name. Not only is his name special but so is he. Here take a look and you'll see why he's so special." She said handing him baby Inuyasha.

Inuyasha gasped. "He looks just like me! He even has ears like mine! I wonder why the other two don't have them?" He wondered.

"I asked Sesshomaru that same question."

"So what's this little guys name?" Inuyasha asked.

Sesshomaru smiled. "His name is Inuyasha. I named him after you little brother."

Inuyasha looked at Sesshomaru in shock. "Y-you named him after me?"

"Yes Inuyasha. I thought I'd lost you for good and I wanted to honor your memory. What better way to do that than name one of my pups after their fearless uncle?"

Inuyasha felt tears gather in his eyes. "Thank you so much! I feel honored that you'd name one of your pups after me." He whispered.

Kagome smiled. "Well he does look a lot like you too so Inuyasha is a fitting name for him."

Inuyasha smiled at baby Inuyasha. "I got a feeling that you and I are gonna be best buddies little guy. I'll teach ya all I know. I promise to be the best uncle ever. And if anybody makes fun of your ears like they did mine, I'll kick their asses."

"Inuyasha! Don't talk like that around them! I don't want my pups speaking like that!" Kagome scolded.

Inuyasha rolled his eyes. "Oh please wench! They're just babies for cryin out loud!"

Kagome glared at him. "Don't call me a wench!" She said. As if to agree with his mother, baby Inuyasha pulled Inuyasha's finger into his mouth and bit him with his already formed fangs.

"Ow! He bit me!"

Sesshomaru chuckled. "It appears he's taking after his namesake already. You did the same thing to father, only you wouldn't let go."

"Oh shut up!" Inuyasha spat. Everyone laughed.

"I hate to interrupt this happy moment but I really should be going." Kagura spoke up.

"Why don't you stay? I could use an extra hand with these three. I know I've got Sango and Sesshomaru but Sesshomaru will probably be busy most of the time with his work and Sango will probably marry Miroku and have her own family." Kagome said.

"Hey! What about me? What am I, chopped liver?" Inuyasha said.

"Let's face it Inuyasha, you aren't exactly a good influence on children. And you have zero patience with kids." Kagome said.

"Keh. I can be good with kids!" He protested.

Kagome rolled her eyes. "Yeah right." She said before turning back to Kagura. "So Kagura, what do you say? Will you stay?" She asked.

Kagura smiled. "I'd love too."

So it was agreed that Kagura would stay with them and help out Kagome when she needed it. As time went on Kagura's and Inuyasha's mutual hate for one another, turned into mutual love and they became mates.

A year after Taisho, Izayoi and baby Inuyasha were born, they finally finished the jewel. Kagome wished for Sango and Miroku to live as long as her and Sesshomaru would. They married and had many children. Because Kagome made a wish on the jewel, the well sealed forever trapping her in the past. She didn't mind though. She knew that she'd live long enough to see her family again. Besides she had her mate, children and her friends to keep her plenty of company.

By the time they had caught up to Kagome's original time, Sesshomaru and Kagome had many children and grandchildren and they still looked as young as they did when they first mated. They had fourty children all together and countless grandchildren and great grandchildren. When Kagome's mother found out how many children she had, she fainted. After she came to, Kagome told her that having that many children wasn't many at all considering the fact that she'd been mated for five hundred years.

All in all everyone lived long happy lives and they kept their past alive by telling of their many adventures in the feudal era and of the defeat of the evil Naraku.

A/N: I know this isn't the greatest ending and it's sappy but I was running out of ideas. I hope I didn't disappoint you all too much!
