C 04: Simi-

Track: Alice Madness Returns - Card Castles in the Sky Extended

The smile across that face made him sick to the stomach.

Not because it was ugly or anything, but because it reminded him of the lonely days he had before he could even see the ray of sun outside of his mind.

Zero slapped the hand off of his shoulder.

"The hell are you?!" His voice was layered, still with the usual cruelty and sadism, only laced by a hint of anxiety and confusion. His head was throbbing as Tsuna started to walk down the spiral staircase to their mind. His heart pounded.

The blond guy was still smiling like no tomorrow, like he was satisfied with the turn of events. The room was messy, and horridly destroyed. All inmates and supervisors stood still, waiting for the events to roll between the newest and the oldest inmate.

"Enough is enough, isn't it? Zero?" His tone was that of smile and knowingness. As if he knew more about him that he himself could ever spell out. "Who are you?" He hissed as he took a step back. This man... what-

"Libra must be crying now, kind soul, lovely soul. Calm down and contain your anger, okay?" His voice was the perfect opposite of his own anxious one. The brunet shivered as he held his own trembling down.

"Something like you will never be able to protect Tsuna." There was a smile as a pair of yellow eyes met with his own. "He loves me." Zero retorted. "He named me."

A snort.

"Wait until he meets me. Wait until he meets the rest of us. We'll see if you are still the one who gets to be the main one."

He hated to admit it, but he needed to retreat back to his heart immediately and stop Tsuna from meeting them. He will never be able to stand it if Tsuna ever found out about them and then left him behind.

His eyes met with those tangerine orange, as if trying to make sense of this man who reminded him of another version of himself with a pair of kind-looking yet actually cruel yellow eyes. "You don't understand." He seethed maliciously. "None of you will ever understand..."

That he was the only one of them who never actually had the desire to trap Tsuna within their head just so he won't ever feel pain. He might be the cruelest and the most unstable from all the others, but he actually loved having Tsuna outside and doing his own life.

If they ever meet Hibiki, Haruka, and Kaname...

He was sure that they'd be on their knees begging to just have him instead. But for now, he had better things to do.

"Stop doing unnecessary things, littlest brother dear." He could hear Haruka chiming within their head. "Yeah, it is highly unfair if you want to keep our Tsuna to yourself." Hibiki's cold voice echoed. "Besides, Kaname-kun has moved. You're too laaaate!" Haruka's laughed echoed merrily, making his head throbbed even more. He then staggered towards the man who had reminded him of Kaname the most and collapsed on his arms.

"I won't let you have him... Kaname."

Track: To Zanarkand Music box version extended

His first memory was that of darkness.

And a sound, crying from so far away. Next to him were people, all of them had the same colored hair as his own.

He watched, trying to make sense of what woke him up. The sound of crying echoed within the darkness in a constant flow of tears. "Why are you crying?" He has asked.

But the crying sound never answered him, never said anything but to continue echoing.

Eventually, he stopped sitting around and got up, walking around aimlessly within the darkness. Who's crying? Why are they crying? What is he? How is he here?

These questions continued to plagued him for endless eternity- or what seemed to be one.

And then there was another one, someone like him, who woke up. A silent one who didn't talk much and seemed to be wearing glasses. He, like him, also didn't know of what he was and why he was here. They looked almost identical except for the glasses, though, or, so he thought.

"Your eyes... they are yellow." The glasses-wearer deadpanned with his usual expressionless stare.

So they both walked with one another, trying to find the source of the echoing cries. While he developed a sense of protectiveness to that sound, his counterpart was silent, never saying anything but look uncomfortable whenever the cries get louder or quieter.

Time passed, and the crying sound was somehow quieter, but it still broke his heart. It seemed to be much more subdued and yet it was so continuous and hopeless. Like the sound will always flow and never stop, ever.

It was then that they found another one just like them, another one who woke up.

A bubbly one who never seemed to stop talking, she was. They walked together, trying to find the source of the crying voice, but, it was to no avail.

He was the oldest, so he was the one to comfort her whenever she got too upset with the loud cry. She kept them sane, she kept them happy whenever the cries weren't too loud. And whenever she was in-control enough, she will murmur words of encouragement to the unknown crying voice.

Days flew by within the darkness as the crying noise quieted down until it was replaced with laughter.

The three of them had been immensely shocked, of course. After all, it must have been years since he first woke up and he had never heard the crying noise laugh before. It sparked something within all three of them, happiness, a word so foreign before their only girl self woke up. But, but-!

"Nii-san!" She had gasped as she saw a hint of blue spreading across the darkness rapidly. He gasped, but then realized that everything was starting to melt into a sea of blue.

But instead of the sea, they were met with a plain of clear blue sky instead.

The darkness had subsided and they could clearly see one another. He was taller than the other two, with yellow eyes and a kind-looking face. The other male was slightly shorter than him with cold brown eyes and black-rimmed glasses. His face was cold and devoid of emotion. And the female was shorter than the two of them with long hair and a girl-version of their uniform-like clothing.

Their faces were perfect carbon copy of one another, though.

"Wha-what...?" The only girl said with an apparent shock across her face. But then the shorter male looked around to find another one like them with burning candlelight eyes smiling and grinning like a madman as it spoke loud and clear to the owner of the crying noise.

Their littlest brother, the one who woke up last among them, was the first to make the owner of those sad voice, laugh.

Track: Pan's Labyrinth Lullaby Music Box

Zero sat quietly as he tried to reach out to Tsuna. His eyes were closed as he was in deep concentration. He didn't want to let him meet them. Not at all. After all, his first encounter with them hadn't been pleasant.

He first met with Kaname, the oldest amongst all of them. He had yellow eyes and kind-looking face, but he was... odd. He would smile and grin, all the while planning to take over Tsuna's body for himself. Zero himself had once asked why he would do such a thing. Kaname only replied with a very calm answer of "Because I don't want to hear Tsuna crying anymore." through that sickening smile of his.

What he didn't understand, though, was the fact that the others actually agreed with him. Hibiki was cold and rational, he was the smarter side of Tsuna who would prioritize fact before feelings and numbers before words, but even he sided with Kaname on this one.

And then there was Haruka, the sweet, innocent, and happy side of Tsuna. He hated her the most because she was his mortal opposite. He represented anger and helplessness Tsuna had held all these years so he hated how she always seemed to be effortlessly happy.

Haruka too, agreed with Kaname's view of everything. Maybe she was scared of him, maybe. But Zero never understood the reason why they were so hellbent on keeping Tsuna away from his own life.

After all, Tsuna's crying voice was one of the most beautiful thing he had ever heard.

It made him smile, it made him laugh, it made him treasure Tsuna's laugh even more. Zero swore he would eradicate everything that made Tsuna cry, and would make him cry all by himself just so he can hear it all to himself.

That was why, in a way, Zero was the kindest out of all others Tsuna had within his head.

Track: Dark Music - Fatal Lullaby

"You seem like you know things about him, Giotto-san."

Giotto turned his gaze away from the sitting brunet within the confines of his own room. He threw his best smile towards the approaching redhead before chuckling amiably. "He was similar." Giotto answered as he returned his gaze. "With Alaude, a very important friend of mine."

The redhead hummed as he leaned to Giotto's back. "Cozart, you're squishing me." Giotto shrugged. "Tell me about it, Giotto-san."

The blond and the redhead shared a silence. Out of all the other inmates, Giotto and Cozart shared a profound bond, after all. They were best friends, who seemed to possess knowledge others did not. Fong and Adel even seemed to think that they were similar case with one another, whatever that meant.

"Alaude... was killed." The blond whispered silently, but Cozart didn't press him for more. "Unlike what people think, Alaude was not murdered by anyone."

"So...? Who killed him?"

"He was killed by himself. He was killed by his other personality. And I'm afraid that this child too, will someday share the same fate as Alaude."

C 04 End: -larities.

Clarifying things:

1. Tsuna had MPD (Multiple Personality Disorder) instead of DID (Dual Identity Disorder), this was a misdiagnose on Iemitsu's part. Not revealed as of yet.

2. Tsuna has four personalities excluding himself. Kaname (wise and manipulative, has yellow eyes), Hibiki (intelligent and uncaring, wears glasses), Haruka (bubbly and easily pressured, is a girl) and Zero (mad and unpredictable). The first to wake is Kaname, but the first to get in contact with Tsuna is Zero.

3. Giotto is not crazy as everyone thinks he is.

Well, if someone's still reading this, enjoy the chapter XD
