*A/N Thanks to anyone who stuck along this long for the story! I have other stories on here too, but if you're reading this one, I'm glad. It's been here the longest, and I haven't updated very much. But if even just one person stuck around, I'm thankful for you and love you! So, have a nice life!*

The group arrived at the mirror quite quickly, since they were trying to save Hatter. Alice especially; she would shout at the others to hurry when they were tired. Because she needed Hatter to survive. He was her dearest friend, and if he died, it would be all her fault. She was supposed to slay the Jabberwocky before it hurt any of her friends. Yet, there was the Mad Hatter, bleeding to death.

Once Alice had ushered her friends into her room, she grabbed the White Queen's arm gently and directed her to the mirror.

"Alright, I got you here. Now what?"

"I may be able to conjure some magic if I'm standing on the other side. I'm going to step through the mirror and try," the Queen said.

Alice stopped her, "And that will heal him?"

"It is our only option at the moment, my champion," the White Queen said, eyes full of sorrow. Alice slowly let her fingers off of the Queen's arm. She let her Queen walk through the mirror. A small scream escaped her lips.

"What? What is it?" Alice demanded.

"The Knave… and the Red Queen," she said, lips pursed sadly. "They are lying here dead."

Alice rushed up to the mirror to see the two villains reaching for the mirror, as if they couldn't reach it in time. "What killed them?"

"I do not know, but before I am attacked by whatever got them, I am going to try to heal our dear Mad Hatter," the White Queen reasoned. She raised her hands, her lips moving rapidly without noise escaping, and white smoke appeared between her fingers.

"It's working!" Alice gasped. The White Queen's eyes bulged, and she let her hands stick out of the mirror, throwing the magic at the Hatter's unconscious form. After a moment, his body convulsed, like a demon was exiting. Then his eyes shot open, a brilliant green, focusing immediately on Alice.

"Alice!" he muttered out in a heavy lisp. She fell to the floor, wrapping her arms around his torso and squeezing him.

"We almost lost you!" she said.

"But you haven't," Hatter replied. He pulled away and set Alice's hand on his heart. His eyes focused in the distance, as if he was trying to feel his own heart through her hand, "Yes. Not lost!"

Alice hugged him again. The White Queen exited the mirror, and she collapsed. The White Rabbit and the twins rushed to her and found she was okay. Just exhausted. Alice smiled. She hadn't lost any of her friends today, something she thought was an impossible thought in itself.

"Impossible," she said.

"What ever do you mean, my dear?" the Queen wheezed from the ground.

"Impossible that everyone survived," Alice answered, feeling hopeless. "It's… it's not right."

"Of course, it's not Alice," the Rabbit said.

"It's all a dre-dre-dream!" the March Hare stammered out.

Alice's eyes shot open. "Alice! Alice!" her mother said over her.

"Mother?" Alice asked.

"Hurry! You're going to miss your boat to Asia!" she said. She pointed to the corner. "It's a good thing you already packed your bag, or else you would be even later!" she giggled. Then she shoved herself off Alice's bed and rushed out of the room, shouting "Get dressed" behind her as she went.

Alice sat up, feeling a tear slide down her cheek. She looked at the foot of her bed where her blue dress waited for her. She put it on quickly, hoping that getting dressed would distract her from her tears. But it didn't.

She walked slowly over to her mirror, attempting to do her hair. But when she looked closely she could see she wasn't alone in the mirror. A giant pair of green eyes shone in the reflection. Alice glanced behind her, seeing no green eyes. A wide smile appeared on her face.

"Hatter," she whispered as tears fell into her mouth. His hand reached through the mirror.

"Alice," he whispered back, wiggling his fingers. She glanced at his hand. It was so much like her dream, yet this was real. She knew it was. She had the choice to stay in Underland with him.

And she took his without a second thought, going through the looking glass into Underland, where she was always truly happy and herself, no matter what task would be ahead of her. She could slay monsters and deal with disappearing cats.

But Underland was her home. It was where she decided she would stay and remain muchy forever. With Hatter and her other friends in her muchy paradise.
