A/N: So yes, it's been forever but here's the next chapter. I hope you enjoy it, and hopefully it won't be such a long gap till the next one.
Roz looked over to the passenger seat where Frasier snored lightly.
"Hey" she said quietly, "Hey, we're here." She reached over the center council and gently shook his shoulder.
He opened his eyes blearily, "I can't believe I fell asleep."
"I can, you've been awake since the early hours of the morning worrying about your brother. Of course you're bushed."
"Just let me go upstairs and get changed into something a bit less drab then we can-"
"How about we reschedule?" Her tone then quickly shifted from concerned to light and playful, "I want my money's worth out of this date and you look like you're about to fall face first in to a bowl of creme de something or other."
He looked slightly dejected but made no argument, instead yawing.
"How about this? You go upstairs take a nap , ill pick up Alice from my neighbors and bring something over to eat for dinner?"
Frasier seemed to perk up a bit, "That sounds delightful Roz" he opened the passenger door before pausing and turning back to her while making a face, "Just please do remember how I feel about that take out place on the your block."
She smiled to herself as he shut the door and made his way into his apartment building.
About an hour later Roz pushed the door open to Frasier's apartment open with her free hand as she balanced the large bag of food on her opposite hip.
"Hey Martin."
"Hi Roz!" He made a show of smelling the air after seeing the Chinese food take out bag, "Mmm grease. You know what I like. And Alice, How ya doing kiddo?"
Alice scrambled across the room to give him a hug, telling him excitedly about the arts and crafts she made earlier.
"Why don't you two start eating and ill go get Frasier." she smiled, "If you move fast enough we can just use the paper plates that are in the bag instead of setting the table."
Roz knocked lightly on the door to Frasier's room. After pausing for a moment and hearing no answer she went in anyways. She walked over and sat on the edge of his bed where he as still sleeping soundly. Sleeping, he looked so peaceful she barely had the heart to wake him up.
Her fingers lightly ran over his cheekbone, "Time to wake up sleeping beauty." Her touch was gentle, but her voice sharp with jest.
Frasier's eyes remained closed as he responded, "I believe, if we're going to stick with the fairy tale motif , sleeping beauty was actually awakened with a kiss."
Roz chuckled, "Well if I have to."
She gave him a chaste peck on the lips.
Eyes still shut, he made an exaggerated snoring noise.
"Oh well. I tried."
She began to stand up but an arm shot out wrapping around her waist and pulling her down to the bed. "Failure to awake your sleeping prince aside, you've taken such good care of me today Roz." a devilish smile appeared on his face before rolling them both over, "Now let me take care of you."
He pushed her hair aside trailing hot kisses along her neck and down to the lines of her collarbone. Roz tried to stifle a moan but was entirely unsuccessful. He had only began to slip his hands underneath the hem of her shirt when they were both rudely called back to reality.
"Frasier?" Martin's voice echoed from the table where he was yelling, down the hallway into Frasier's room ," Where'd you put the soy sauce? And hurry up, the sweet and sour chicken is getting cold!"
"Mommy?" Alice's voice came next , "Can I eat my fortune cooke before I finish my dinner? Pleeaaseee?
Roz groaned in frustration, "We should probably go eat dinner."
"Probably.", Frasier agreed defeatedly.
Roz stood up smoothing her hair down before heading to the door, "Now put on some real clothes before all the food is gone."
Frasier made an agitated noise as he threw back the rest of the covers but moving quickly, still managed to intercept her before she left putting his body between her and the doorway.
"One last thing Roz, about what you said earlier at the hospital..." He saw a flash of momentary panic cross her face but just smiled knowingly, " I love you too."
