Dick kicked a pebble as he waited outside school.

"Hey, you coming?" Artemis asked, walking up to him. "I heard Wally got out of school early today."

"I'm going to head over later. I already have plans," Dick said.

"Alright, well, I'll see you later." Artemis patted his shoulder and walked off. Just as she left a car pulled up. The passenger door opened and Selina honked at him.

"Come on! We don't have all day!" Dick smiled and ran to the car, getting in.

"So what are we doing?"

"Well, first we're going to pick up Jason," Selina said. "Then I thought we could all do something fun."

"Please, Jason just wants to go out as Robin," Dick said.

"Well why don't you give him the chance?" Selina asked.

"I'm not ready to give Robin up though!" Dick protested.

"I know, and you don't have to, but I was thinking about something," Selina said.

"I'm not going out as Tomcat, I promised the team I wouldn't," Dick said.

"I didn't say anything," Selina said.

"Selina." She looked over at the young boy and sighed.

"Okay, you caught me."

"Selina, Tomcat is retired," Dick said.

"Doesn't have to be." Selina smiled and rolled to a stop. "Do you remember that little girl that lives in my apartment building?"

"Yeah, what about her?" Dick asked.

"Apparently Dimitrov thought they were 'mules' or something for Maroni," Selina said. She gripped the steering wheel and narrowed her eyes. "He took her. He took her and held her hostage."

"Bats and I can find her no problem," Dick said.

"She's dead." Selina told him. "They murdered her right in front of her parents. And to top it off they stole everything from them. If they don't figure out something quick they're probably going to be living on the streets."

"What are you going to do?" Dick asked.

"I'm going to go to Dimitrov and take what is rightfully theirs. Bad enough they had to bury their daughter, but they deserve to have some kind of compensation." Selina pulled into the middle school parking lot.

"Selina, you can't do this alone. And it's even crazy just to think of doing something like this," Dick said.

"I know, but Dimitrov needs to pay."

"And what happens when he sees that he missing money, and they have it?" Dick asked.

"He won't," Selina said, taking a parking spot. She stopped the car but remained seated. "I've got plane tickets. I'm taking the money, buying a house, and giving them the house and the rest of the money."

"You're insane," Dick said. "It's a wonder you haven't ended up in Arkham."

"I could use some help," Selina said, smirking at him.

"Bruce wouldn't let me," Dick said.

"You don't have to do everything Batsy says," Selina said.

"It doesn't matter, this is something entirely different than Tomcat's original purpose," Dick said.

"But it's not different from what Robin does," Selina said. "You're just stealing and giving it to the poor, like Robin Hood."

"I won't do it," Dick said. "Not unless...not unless Bruce approves."

"Good, then dust off your costume," Selina said. "Bruce already said yes."

"What did Bruce say 'yes' to?" Jason asked, entering the car.

"Going to the arcade and having ice cream," Dick said.

"Do we really have to do something as predictable as that?" Jason asked.

"You don't want to have ice cream for dinner?" Dick asked.

"Nobody said anything about having it for dinner," Jason said loudly.

"Is it predictable now?" Selina asked.

"A bit, but it also got a lot more entertaining," Jason said.

"How about the fact that Bruce gave me his credit card?" Selina asked, holding up the plastic card.

"No way," Dick said in awe.

"Can we go to the new arcade on 5th street?" Jason asked.

"Sure thing." Selina started the car and began driving. Dick's phone went off and he pulled it out, seeing a message from Wally. He quickly texted him back and glanced at Selina before starting a new message. Selina picked up her phone as it went off and glanced at it.

Count me in.

She smiled and put her phone back, rolling to a stop at a stop light. "So we can't have just ice cream, what else do you want?"

"I actually heard the one on 5th street had a restaurant inside," Dick said.

"Alright, now that sounds like a plan."

And that marks the end of this story. But fear not, there will be a sequel! We haven't seen the last of Tomcat, trust me.
