Being the Light of the World

"You are the light of the world"-

what in the world does that mean?

We live in a dark world,

sadness, fear, and hate

is everywhere we turn,

but their is hope.

The light

Light can attract or be a repellant

on people.

We can show the love of Christ in our everyday lives

and it can bring people to the Lord,

but not everyone feels comfortable by the

Light.

Have you ever been sleeping,

enjoying being in bed,

in the dark,

but then comes the light.

Have you felt that feeling of

wanting to go back under your blankets

and go back to sleep?

Some people are like that

when we share the Good News to them.

They don't want the Light-

they are comfortable in the darkness.

But we shouldn't get discouraged and stop

sharing the Light.

Our lives as followers of Christ,

should show His Light,

not hide it!

So as we see the darkness grow,

we need to remember

that we can show the Light

and save many those lost in the darkness.

"You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden."
