The others look at him in amusement, but Enjolras longs to strike him. The wheels are in motion for a revolution, but the bastard has the nerve to go and lose his heart to some girl. How dare he do this? How dare Marius turn his back on something that he had supported so fiercely, as fiercely as he himself does? And how dare he look him in the eyes and claim that Enjolras doesn't know what he is feeling? Has he forgotten already? It was barely a year ago, and Enjolras is still enduring the pain. He looks at Marius in revulsion as their friends join in on the teasing.
