The knife came flying fast, whistling through the room.

Bruce knew he wouldn't be able to catch it. Still he reached out his eyes opened wide and his mouth hanging open when suddenly two hands caught the knife. The two large hands where attached to two muscular arms that led to Steve Rogers aka Captain America.

Steve easily pocketed the knife and turned to Clint standing tall and looked down at the smaller blond going from friendly Steve Rogers to the Captain he was. Clint took a step back but Steve wouldn't give him any room and soon had the other back up against the wall.

"Agent Barton, we are going the meeting room." Captain said in a serious voice. "You and I are going to have a talk."

With that Bruce watched at the Captain practically dragged Clint out of the room. Still in shock Bruce ran his hands through his hair before turning to look at Loki who was staring at him waiting for an explanation on what was going on.

"Um, that was Clint… He, uh, he's going to be upset later, but don't worry we won't let him hurt you."

Loki stared at him before tilting his head slightly. It was clear he didn't know why the other was going to hurt him so Bruce just smiled and reassured him again before going to a cabinet and taking out a pain killer before putting it into the IV.

"I'm going to change you wounds and it might hurt, so I'll give you this and besides the other medicine might wear off in about… ten minutes? Fifteen at the most."

Loki continued to stare making him uncomfortable when suddenly Loki whimpered and curled up into a ball. Suddenly Loki started to shake almost like someone had grabbed him and was trying to get something out of him.

"Loki!" Bruce tried to hold the other down so he wouldn't hurt himself more. After a few minutes Loki fainted. "Oh dear…"

Tony was nursing his scotch gently when the door opened and in marching was none other than the Greatest Solider that ever lived and the assassin who could seek like a bird. Oh, excuse him Tony totally meant hawk.

Curious on where they were going Tony followed, half wobbly since he had down about two or was it three, bottles of scotch. Somehow he amazingly found them after losing them for a while and Tony watched for a second before walking into the room.

"Let go of me, Captain!" Clint pretty much screamed.

"Clint, I need you to calm down so I can tell you of the recent discoveries that Bruce and I have made concerning, Loki."

"Bullshit!" Clint tried to struggle away which was stupid because once the Super Solider had you in his hold it was useless. "Whatever he told you it's a lie! He's faking it!"

"Clint, what color were Loki's eyes when he fought you?"

"What? Blue. They're blue."

"No, they're not." Steve said still keeping a hold on Clint upper arms well aware that the other could easily escape him if he let go. "When II found him he was beaten and practically dead. We did some work on him and noticed that his eye color is blue. He remembers nothing about us. When you were under control you could only remember bits and pieces of the two days. We think that Loki was under control way long than just two days and if were correct than it might have been more like a year and if so than the attack wans't his fault."

"He's tricking you!"

"What you saw in that room, Clint, can someone fake that?" Steve asked still calm and it made Clint feel like a child being scolded. "Can someone fake, broken bones, fake teeth being pulled out, can someone fake rape, fake blood, fake fear so great that you think they would fall apart. I know you went through some terrible stuff those two days, but Clint, can I ask you something?"

"What?" Clint growled out.

"It hurt you for two days, can you image being hurt for a years, being forced to do something so terrible and then when you free from the spell that you'll be going home to someone you trust only to be tormented more? When you came back to us, Natasha was there to see you until you could get up and after it was over were helped you through it. But can you imagine coming out of one hell just to be thrown into another one? And a worse one."

"How could it be worse?" Clint asked trying not yell. "Tell me, Steve how can it be worse?!"

"Because his own family sent him to this hell."

There was a long pause. Clint didn't have family. The Avengers was the closest thing he had to a family and they had all grown close and trusted each other. Steve was forever the leader and caring oldest brother/dad since he was a bit old fashion. The others were also close. It was an odd and strange family and there noting normal about it but it was still the best.

"Clint you were hurt, yes, but what happened to you is like a scratch compeered to Loki's. Look, I'll show you." Steve looked up to the ceiling. "Jarvis, show the videos please and the documents."

"Of course, Steve." The IA said before pulling up everything.

They watched and Clint gritted his teeth not wanting to believe anything but the proof was right there and only a blind idiot wouldn't believe it. It was horrible to witness all that had been down to the other but Clint tried, he really did not to show emotion but that was not to be as he remembered some of the things he had done and things done to him since his training and the cruel looks and hatred of being to someone who only craved for death, money and power.

"Hey, Clint, I know this is hard, but I swear that I'll help you out with this aright?"

"…I don't know if I can do this, Cap."

"Well, it's a good thing you won't have to do this alone."

Clint nodded and somehow he ended up hugging his friend and for some odd reason Tony showed up out of nowhere and joined into the hug. How the hell did he appear out of nowhere?!

Bruce discovered the Loki liked milkshakes. At the moment he was currently drinking his third milkshake slowly slipping on the straw. Happy with that Bruce wrote some things down before he noticed that Loki was moving his fingers.

Going over he saw emotion that he recognized as writing motions. "Oh, hold on, let me get you something."

Grabbing some paper and pen Bruce helped prop up Loki a little before placing the pen in his hand. Loki had a little trouble holding onto the pen but wrote out slowly. Bruce leaned over and saw that the paper simple said: Thor.

"Thor's not here, but he comes and goes."

About three minutes later Loki managed to get a few more words out: Will he return soon?

"Yes, I think so. Did you want to see him?"

Loki blinked yes.

"Well, it would be but I think he's talking to the King about not wanting to be King yet." Bruce smiled but than frowned as Loki's eyes widened in shock and suddenly he was writing a little fast sand Bruce leaned down to watch the shaking messy handwriting. "What is it, Loki?"

'Why is Thor not King?'

"From what I know the ceremony was ruined by someone sneaking into the palace."

'I went missing on my way to the ceremony. Thor was supposed to be King.'

"Wait, you went missing before the ceremony?"

Loki blinked yes.

"Oh no… Uh, Jarvis, can you get Steve for me?"
