a/n: Hi guys! So I know it's been SO long since I've updated this. I apologize about that...school is really hard :'D.

But here is the new chapter that has been written 2 months apart XD. I hope you enjoy!

Chapter 10: Look Who's Here!

"He's not from the Mediterranean region."

Germany woke up to a stern voice. It was of a woman's, he thought.

"Is he from the north then?"

There was another voice, but much softer and curious than the previous.

He tried to open his eyes and move his arm a bit, but he failed. It must be after I dove. My body hurts like hell.

But forget the current situation - where is Italy? They must have him in the infirmary too, right? What if they - what if he isn't here? What if the two nurses beside him right now...?

*thud*

"Jelia!"

His danger senses have tingled.

Both worried and curious to see where the sound came from, he lifted himself out of bed with all his might.

And then it happened.

Two...fishtails(?) moved on his right.

"Oh! He's awake now, sister!"

He turned his head, now affixed, eyes filled with the look of WTF?!

H-how-wh-what?! Are these people-something, mermaids?! WHAT IS HAPPENING?! IS THIS A DREAM OR ONE OF ENGLAND"S MESSED UP MOVIES?!

"Calm down, human." HUMAN?!

The green-haired (wait WHAT) girl - I mean mermaid looked at him and sighed.

"I know this is the first time you've encountered us, but please don't act as if it is the end of the world."

The red-haired (ok pretty normal) gi-mermaid looked at him with a big smile on her face.

"Don't worry! We don't eat humans, they're disgusting."

Ludwig felt like fainting. He didn't know why, but he just did. Maybe it's because he's inside England's head?

No. Hell no.

The green-haired mermaid regained composure and faced Ludwig.

"Blonde," she said in a commanding voice, "we're sorry about what just happened. Please forgive us."

"Uh, sure."

"Now we can introduce ourselves properly. My name is Jenn, head of the Mediterranean division-at least until yesterday."

Then the red-haired mermaid clung on to Jenn. "The name's Jelia! I'm just her younger sister."

"So you are a Northerner, are you?~"

"J-ja, I think so. I am Ludwig, representative of Germany."

The sisters looked at each other, as if this human was not good news.

"G-germany. Then," Jenn inhaled deeply "you're friends with the Italian? And-"

"Sis, not her."

"J-just the Italian, yes?"

"J-ja." Wel that's weird...

The two mermaids looked at each other and then looked at him. Jelia sighed before she began to explain things a bit.

"Okie, big guy. So I'll just run through the gist of what's happening in the Palace. Basically it went on total lock down after "The Magician" appeared and took control. It's not safe and free as it was."

Then her sister continued, "Now everything that is done in the Palace is top secret. I used to be the head of this division, as I said earlier, and the reason why I lost my position was because I found out about the plans of turning the entire waterworld into some sort of military state and into some business as well."

Germany felt like this has happened more than once before, somewhere on the surface...

"In order to do that," she said, "they decided to blackmail the citizens and get extra money at the same time, using science-magic things."

"Aaaanddd, as you've probably guessed, that cute guy is one of those unlucky people to be experimented on!"

Well, that's wonderful news!

"We know that you would want to save your friend. And we will be here to help you save him and to make it back to the surface, safe." Jenn said.

Germany blinked for a moment, processing the whole situation. "You're right. I want to save my friend. So if it's alright with you, can we think of a plan on how we would first enter the Palace? I doubt it would be easy..."

"Oh don't worry! We already came up with one!" Jelia smirked at the remark.

"We'll start commencing operation tomorrow. Be ready at 6 in the morning!"

"We will have fun, Mr. Stick-in-the-Mud!"

Oh no.

This does NOT spell something fun...
