The next day at the Tendo home the two youngest were leaving for school.

"Akane, can you help Nabiki to Dr. Tofu's?" asked Kasumi.

Akane nods. "What's wrong?" said Akane.

"I just fell bad on my right ankle yesterday." said Nabiki.

Akane came on Nabiki's right and supported her as they walked to Dr. Tofu's.

"Good morning, Doctor Tofu." said Akane pulling her and Nabiki into bow.

"Good morning, Akane, Nabiki. What brings you two here this morning?" said Dr. Tofu returning the bow.

"Nabiki injured her right ankle yesterday, and wants you to look at It." answered Akane as she helped Nabiki sit down on the exam bed.

Dr. Tofu started examining Nabiki's ankle. "You haven't been by lately. No new injuries?" asked Tofu.

"No, sir. I mean... I haven't been doing anything that might injure me..." said the bushing Akane.

"Ok, Nabiki it just looks like a bad bruise. It should be okay to walk on but be careful." Dr. Tofu told Nabiki.

After leaving Dr. Tofu's Nabiki said "So you still have that crush on Dr. Tofu. You know he likes-"

"Shut up, Nabiki!" said Akane.

Meanwhile Ranma and Ranko were walking up to Furinkan high school. Ranko (unwillingly) wore the Furinkan girl's uniform which consisted of a white blouse and a teal jumper. Ranma wore the white dress shirt and blue-gray slacks that made up the Furinkan boy's uniform.

"I REALLY REALLY HATE BOYS!" said the dark blue haired girl running toward the school. Ranma and Ranko jumped on to the wall around the school to get out of the way of the angry girl, who turned out to be Akane. Then a horde of boys rushed out of the gates of the school toward Akane shouting declarations of love. Akane started handling each boy with one punch or kick.

"What's going on here? What is this?" said the Ran twins.

"Ranma, Ranko, quit your gocking and get to class. You better get moving or you are going to be late." Said Nabiki as she walked up to the school gate.

"Yeah, but what about-?" said the Ran twins at the same time.

"Akane will be fine. This happens every day." said Nabiki.

"What!?" said the Ran twins simultaneously. Just then the Ran twins looked down to see the only living thing left standing in the school yard is Akane herself.

"Honestly. Every single morning! I'm getting tired of it." said Akane. Akane caught a rose from midair. Akane took one look at the rose and looked sick.

"But earthlier happy is the rose distilled than that withering on the virgin thorn, grows, lives and dies in single blessedness. Theses weaklings, such a boorish lot, truly. They fought for the privilege of your company, Akane, If they could manage to defeat you that is. What fools these mortals be." monologued a 17 year old man. He was clad in an sapphire blue Uwagi that enclosed his torso and upper arms. The man wore a pair of black Hakama pants that descended to his ankles. His feet were unshod. He wielded a katana-sized bokken in his right hand. His muscles were those of a swordsman. He had conceited royal blue eyes.

"Oh, Kuno, excuse me." said Akane right before trying to run around the 17 year old.

"Well, then. Akane Tendo, will you spar with me?" said Kuno.

"Man, you are sure popular with the guys around here." said the Ran twins in unison as they jumped off the wall.

"Just stay out of the way or you are going to get hurt." said Akane. "RANKO DON'T JUMP AROUND IN A SKIRT!" said Akane after seeing slightly stunned state of Kuno and realizing what caused that reaction.

"You There!" said Kuno.

"Hm?" said the Ran twins together.

"Aren't you two being awfully familiar with Akane?" said Kuno.

"Well, yeah, but..." said the Ran twins in perfect sync.

"Yeah, but what, Ranma?" said Akane.

"Enough of your insolence! I demand to know who you are! And who is the goddess beside you that repeats your words!" said Kuno.

"Well, I'm-" said Ranma.

"Is it not the custom to give one's own name first? Fine then! Mine I shall give! I am the undefeated captain of this school kendo club! The rising new star of the high school fencing world! The sound of my voice strikes fear into the hearts of my enemies! My peers call me the blue thunder of Furinkan High! Tatewaki Kuno. Age seventeen."

"Did he just call himself, blue thunder?" said a girl with shoulder length curly brown hair named Momoko Tanaka, one of Nabiki's 'friends'.

"Last I heard he was calling himself shooting star." said a girl with short dark brown hair in a bob cut named Kotone Suzuki, another one of Nabiki's 'friends'.

"Well I'm uh um uh um I'm Nodoka Saotome's son." said Ranma.

"WHAT!? FROM THE LOINS OF THE MOTHER GODDESS OF NERIMA?! I FORBID IT!" said Kuno as he swung at Ranma with a downward slash but Ranma up and over the strike.

"Hey That's My Mom You're Talkin' About! I'm Ranma Saotome of the Saotome school of anything goes martial arts. And the red head is my sister Ranko. Here. Hold my bag a sec." said Ranma as he threw his book bag to Akane. "And I accept your Huh?" said Ranma seeing his opponent no longer in front of him.

"You're Nodoka Saotome's daughter? You are as radiant as your mother!" said Kuno grabbing Ranko's hand.

"Didn't you just challenge my brother!" said Ranko as her eyebrow twitched.

"But of course."

"Then get to fighting already!" said Ranko as she kicked Kuno toward Ranma.

"Hey look over there someone trying to take on Kuno!" said Momoko Tanaka.

"Talk about living dangerously!" said Kotone Suzuki.

"So, you're mother goddess's son. It is a hard thing to believe that a knave such as yourself is related to such perfection." said Kuno.

"Quit talking about my mom like that!" said Ranma.

"I was talking about Ranko."

"My sister? What the hell do ya want with that tomboy? She loud, obnoxious and top heavy." Ranma found himself hit with his own book bag. Ranma turned around and glared at Akane. "Hey, what was that for."

"You Were Talking About Your Sister's Chest, You Pervert!" screamed Akane.

"At least she's got a chest to talk about, miss flat as a wall!"

"FLAT! AS! A! WALL!"

"SILENCE, FOOL! I Will Not Allow You To Talk About Akane Tendo Or Ranko Saotome That Way!" said Kuno. Kuno rushed and swung at Ranma but Ranma dodged and Kuno cut the brick wall that was behind Ranma. Ranma stood sideways on a tree. Kuno swung and cut the tree down with one cut. "Why, You Slippery Little-" said Kuno.

"Hey, a wait a minute!" said Ranma. Ranma ran at Kuno and dodged Kuno every attack. "Let me.. make one thing... perfectly clear!" said Ranma before rushing at Kuno. "You better stay away from my sister!" said Ranma as he pushed Kuno back. "She's... Rude... obnoxious... and a real tomboy type." said Ranma as he dodged Kuno swings.

'He's Good!' thought Kuno before he made a horizontal swipe at Ranma but Ranma jumped over Kuno's swing.

"If want a girl two breasts away from bein' a man you can have her!" said Ranma before being hit in the head by Ranko's book bag. Ranma rolled out the way of Kuno's downward swipe. "Hey, what did you do that for! I'm fighting here!"

"Then Get To It And Quit Insultin' My Femininity!" yelled Ranko.

"What femininity?" said Ranma as dodged around Kuno.

"This Femininity!" Ranko tore off her school uniform revealing a white muscle shirt and a pair of boxers. "What do you think of my femininity now!?"

Kuno took one look at Ranko and fell backwards blood running from his nose the whole time.

"Oops. Maybe shouldn't have done that."

"Ya Think! Ranko why are wearing boy's underwear!?" yelled Akane.

"'cause it better than the alternatives."

"Please tell me you have some girl's underwear in gym locker."

"Actually I have some in my book bag."

"Why are they in your book bag? They should be on you!" Akane got behind Ranko and started pushing her towards the school. "Come on let's find a girl's bathroom so you can swap underwear."

"But I don't wanna."

"YOU'RE WEARING GIRL'S UNDERWEAR! Is That Clear!?"

"Yes ma'am."

Akane pushed Ranko into the school building.

Ranma looked at Ranko's book bag by his feet and her uniform by the side of the school gate. "Um."

Akane dashed out of school building, handed Ranma his book bag, grabbed Ranko's things and dashed back into the school.

That day at the start of lunch.

"Ranko, come eat lunch with us" said Akane.

Ranko walked over and sat with Akane and her friends. "So, Akane, what was up with you and those boys this mornin'?" asked Ranko.

The other five girls sighed. "Kuno told them 'If You Wish To Take Akane Out.. Defeat Her! I Will Permit No Other Terms!'" said Akane.

"You mean you fight with Kuno every morning?!"

"And for some reason I always win."

"Well lot of time when a guy fights a girl he lets her win."

"How Can You Say That! You Are A Girl Yourself!"

"Hey, Who You Callin' A Girl!"

Akane looked at Ranko funny. "You've got big breasts for a guy." said Akane while poking her in the breasts.

Ranko looks down. "Oh, Right."

"Did you forget you had breasts, again?"

Ranko sweatdrops. "uh, ya"

"Hi, I'm Sayuri Suzuki." said a girl with dark brown hair tied in a ponytail with a red bow. "So... How do you know Akane?"

"um, I met her when ... uh, I went to her 'cause ..." said Ranko

"She met my sister, when her family came over engage Ranma to one of us" said Nabiki.

"ENGAGEMENT?!" said the entire class.

"It Not True!" said Akane.

"Our parents decided!" said the Ran twins in unison.

Akane, Ranma, and Ranko spend the rest of lunch dodging questions about the engagement.

After the last bell of the day rang Akane and the other four girls from lunch approached Ranko. "Ranko, want to come with us to the mall?" asked Akane.

"Mall? What's a mall?" said Ranko.

"You've never been to a mall? You poor girl." said Yuka Takahashi.

"Now you have to come." said Hiroko Tanaka grabbing Ranko's right hand.

"Ya, we have to make up for lost time." said Asami Watanabe grabbing left hand. Hiroko and Asami started dragging Ranko out the classroom.

"Wait I Haven't Say I Would Go, Yet!" said Ranko.

"You might as come once Hiroko and Asami get something in their heads they don't stop." said Akane.

"Okay." Replied Ranko dejectedly.

"No Way! I am NOT going in to that kind of store!" said Ranko.

"But it's a clothing store." said Momoko, who had joined the trip along Nabiki and Kotone after they found out that their little sisters were taking Ranko on her first shopping trip.

"And what is wrong with this store?" asked Nabiki.

"It's full of Girl's clothes!" said Ranko.

The eight other girls looked at Ranko funny.

"What?"

Nabiki pointed at the jumper of her school uniform she was still wearing.

Ranko covered the jumper as best she could. "For your information, my mother forced me into this outfit. I ain't wearin' it by choice!" Ranko pouted.

"So, the rest of your wardrobe consists of..." asked Nabiki.

"Shirts and pants, of course." said Ranko as if it was the most natural thing in the world.

"Do I even dare ask about what kind of underwear, you own." said Nabiki.

"Athletic supporters and cotton triangular things for down there. But I'm only wearing them 'cause Akane is forcing me to!"

"They're called a sport's bra and panties and they are what girls are supposed to wear! Not those boy's clothes that you switched to after you were out of your mother's eye! I am going to tell her that you did that by the way." said Akane.

"So only reason you own any girl's clothes is because your mother and my sister are forcing you to wear them." said Nabiki. Ranko nods. "And I thought my sister was a tomboy." said Nabiki.

"NABIKI! Ranko, I am not going to force you to try on clothes if you don't want to but at least come in and see if there is any clothes you like." said Akane.

"So, Ranko, what do you think?" asked Akane, Who was wearing a spring green dress with a white dandelions pattern.

"You're cute. I mean the dress looks cute on you. The dress is cute!"

"Real smooth Saotome. No one will think you are hitting on Akane now." said Nabiki.

"That's not what I'm doin'!"

"Nabiki, Stop picking on Ranko. This is her first time shopping." said Akane.

"Ranko, we've found the cutest blouse and slacks combo for you." said Yuka.

"FOR THE LAST TIME- Wait did you say slacks as in pants?" said Ranko.

Yuka nods.

"Ok, I will take a look. Hand them over." Yuka handed Ranko a set of clothes. Ranko was lifting the blouse when something fell out and on to the floor. "Yuka, what's that?"

"Um, the matching bra." said Yuka sheepishly. "Come on, Ranko you'll catch more attention from the boys if not always wearing sports bras."

"They're athletic supporters and why would I want more attention from boys, the only thing they're good for is free eats and I can get those perfectly fine right now."

"Ranko's right, who wants immature boys?" said Akane.

"Ranko, you do realize that dressing more feminine will also get you more attention from girls that swing that way, right?" said Nabiki.

"More...? I'm still not wearing no bra! Wait a sec! I'm not like that!"

"Ya, Just because Ranko doesn't like boys doesn't mean she's into girls!" Said Akane.

"Who said anything about her being into girls. I just said she would have more success flirting with girls and coning stuff out of them if she dressed more femininely. Like that cashier over there that's been checking her out ever since we came in. I'm sure we could get her to pay for anything we buy for Ranko." said Nabiki.

Ranko blushed. "SHE BEEN WHAT!? I mean I'm not going to feed into her perversions."

"Perversions?" asked Nabiki.

"She likes girls, Nabiki. I would call that pretty perverted!" said Akane.

"Ya, girls should like boys. I mean if they like anybody, which I don't!" said Ranko.
