The world was falling apart around him.
He lost his father.
His family and friends couldn't see anything wrong with him.
His arms were covered in scars.
Now he was connected to a boy he never met before.
A boy that didn't belong.
A boy that could still be the enemy.
The world was falling apart around him and he couldn't stop it.
Gohan growled, balling his hands into fist as paced the room. He couldn't take much more, not really.
The young Demi-saiyan was falling apart along with everything else. Who could save him, especially since no
one seemed to notice. Sure, Piccolo had seemed like he notice. Often watching over Gohan when he thought
the kid wasn't looking. But Gohan noticed him every time, and every time Gohan would put on the act that
he was okay. Unfortunately though it was just an act, one not even Piccolo could see through and then
Piccolo join the group of every one else, a group of people who couldn't see clearly, a group of people who
couldn't see the mask the teen was wearing.
Gohan was slipping away, he was slipping away more and more by the day. It started with the pain, an ache
in his heart and cuts on his arms. Next it was the voices, voices that were ever changing. Sometime Cell,
sometimes Goku, and lastly this kid.
That was another thing that bothered Gohan, it was that kid. Sure, he heard his voice all the time, and he
even saved him but where did this mysterious kid come from, nor why does he feel weaker and in more pain
when the kid is around. Was this kid doing something to him, well besides making him crazy.
Gohan growled again, balling his fist tighter. Unable to take any more, he slammed up the door. His original
plan had been to talk to Vegeta and see if Vegeta had a clue, but now Gohan just wanted answers and he
intended to get them one way or another.
-DBZ-
Ryuu walked out of the room, a dark smirk on his face. His plan was working nicely, for everyone around
him believed him. He was playing the part of a good guy nicely, not that it was that hard but still. He was
even able to convince Gohan that his dad doesn't love him. Again it wasn't that hard, but he was able to do it
without a problem and he could probably convince Gohan that neither did his brother nor mother either, but
he wouldn't need to. Nope, Gohan wouldn't be standing in his way for too much longer. "I guess playing the
nice guy does work better, doesn't it. Ryuu laughed to himself.
He hadn't really thought so, at least not at first, for torturing Gohan had been his favorite pass time. That
was till the boy nearly killed himself. Nope, a dead Gohan would have ruin everything. Ryuu would have died
along with him, but now he wouldn't. Ryuu had even convinced Bulma that she had something to do with it,
though in reality it was all Gohan, well Ryuu helped a little but it was mainly Gohan. The guilt, the pain, the
regret, it all slowly ate at him making him more and more vulnerable. Ryuu had lived inside him, he was the
part of Gohan that the Demi-Saiyan hated. He was the dark power that the goodness and purity in Gohan
had locked away, the same darkness that was in everybody and more importantly the darkness that
had escape its prison when the barrier holding it back broke as Gohan became a Super Saiyan. For no
being can be 100% purely good nor purely evil, its two half of one being that makes a person, and for the
first time since Piccolo, this darkness finally took control. Though this time would be different, Ryuu would
take control. There would be no hope, especially for Earth; especially when Earth's
strongest hero becomes it's greatest enemy.
"Less then 72 hours and all hope and goodness will be gone." Ryuu laughed.
Another chapter seriously, after so long? Yes, its probably not the best especially after so long, but I tried and yes, the mysterious kid finally has a name. Ryuu, meaning Dragon.
*Spoiler* This chapter may make you think of him as purely evil but he isn't. *Spolier*
