Update

To all those who have read my story and to all of those who have commented on its material and have clamored for more, I wish to express my eternal flattery and gratitude. I'd never expect to receive such rousing endorsements and exuberant support for what was originally a small short story I wanted to write about, as no one before me had written a Naruto/Sannin fanfiction that truly captured what I wanted to read. I am truly thankful for all of your kind words and requests to update my work, for which this statement will explain.

I sincerely apologize for the long wait regarding the status of my latest chapter. I took a hiatus more than a year ago as I was not only enduring a severe writer's block at the time but also I've been handling the constant complications called life and for a while now, I have been feeling overwhelmed and exasperated from its difficulties and challenges life has been throwing in my face. Point being is that I am pushing through and progressing to a point where I will soon continue working on my latest chapter. I cannot say when the latest addition will be delivered but I want to assure all my adoring fans that The Son of the Sannin is not done and I will give every person who has taken an interest in my work their reward soon with new material.

In the meantime, while I am writing the latest chapter, I will be combing through my previous works and examine for any punctuation and grammar mistakes, sentences that may have been written in an obscure manner that didn't properly entail my vision, and any other blunders on my part (lol).

And also, as a token of my appreciation, I will treat my readers with an ambiguous preview of what will be in store for the characters as the story progresses. As you may or may not know, two of the four Otogakure (Sound Village) genin teams that have been granted entrance into the Chunin Selection Exams have been introduced. One cell consists of shinobi that were/are a part of the official manga/anime: the Three Sand Siblings and Team Dosu. Two members of each original group have yet to be introduced in the story. And besides the main protagonist, a certain ninja, hailing from the Village Hidden in the Mist, will also be a member of one of the two teams. I leave it to your imagination as to who will consist of each group and who will be their jonin instructors.

Again, I wish to thank all of the endearing words and enthusiastic comments I have been given by my loyal fans. Naruto will never die!

Yours sincerely,

Gorilla General
