Okay guys, thank you for the reviews and the constant support I have had for this story. It is amazing. This is the official next chapter.
Just in case you don't know, I have removed the Author's note that was chapter 5 (chap. 6 on this but the prologue doesn't count) and replaced it with an actual chapter. So check that out first before you read this, someone else joins the game.
I would like to ask my readers to pretty please check out my story Game of Thrones, a Klaroline story that incorporates the Originals and TVD. It would mean a lot to me.

…you only need the light when it's burning low
Only miss the sun when it starts to snow
Only know you love her when you let her go
Only know you've been high when you're feeling low
Only hate the road when you're missing home
Only know you love her when you let her go
And you let her go
Passenger – Let Her Go
Caroline pulled up outside the police station and sighed. She looked back up at her reflection in the visor, Mirror Caroline's eyes kept changing colours, morphing through hazels, greens, blues and greys. Mirror Caroline mouthed words that echoed in Caroline's head. She slammed the visor back up and caught sight of her mother leaving the station. She flashed to her, startling her.
"Caroline! You scared me. Are you okay?"
Caroline grabbed her mom's shoulders gently. Must we? Yes she replied to her conscience. Pulling her mom into a hug she whispers in her ear.
"Mom. I love you."
"Oh sweety, I love you too." Her mom chuckles. "What's wrong?" she says pulling back, looking Caroline over in earnest, wiping away the tears trickling down her cheek. Caroline smiles sadly at her.
"Mom. I want you to have everything in life. I want you to go somewhere far away from here. Somewhere warm." Caroline places her hands on either side of her mother's face and watched as black veins began to slither down her arms and turned her mother's eyes black.
"You will let yourself love and be loved." Caroline began to sob softly and stroked her mom's hair gently.
"But most of all, you will only remember Mystic Falls as the place where you fell in love and married and divorced. You will remember that your daughter died in theatre after a car crash last year. You will remember her funeral, it was beautiful, just like she would have wanted. But you know now that you must leave here. You have mourned and now it's time to move on. You won't remember this." Caroline kissed her mom on the forehead and disappeared back into the car.

Klaus walked through the room carefully, the shattered glass from the mirror crunching under his every step. He could smell the drops of blood that stained the edges. Walking over to the bedside table that lay on its side, the little wooden door hanging by one hinge, Klaus picked up the tiny music box and the miniscule porcelain figurine fell to the ground. He places it on the bed and opens the drawer. He pulls out the velvet box and strokes it before prising it open. His rolled up drawing is tucked inside, he touches the worn edges smiling knowing that she often looks at it.
"Where is she?"
Klaus snaps around to see Stefan standing there, his brow furrowing deeper as he looks around the destruction.
"What happened here, Klaus?"
Klaus shrugs, "Do I look like a bloody psychic? How the hell should I know where she is? I'm going to find her, since none of her pathetic so-called friends are trying to save her."
He storms past the room, tucking the velvet box into his jacket pocket. Turning back to see the Ripper bending down to touch the shattered glass.
"Do you know what really irks me?" Stefan twists to look up at Klaus before shrugging.
"If this was Elena, every single one of you including Caroline would be tripping over yourselves to find a way." Stefan watches as the hybrid walks out.
He pulls out his phone, scrolling through the numbers before dialling Caroline's. The sound of Wake Me Up blares from under the bed. Grabbing the phone, Stefan raises an eyebrow at the sign on screen, Message Deleted.
Stefan tuts and throws the phone against the wall, smiling sinisterly as he watches it fall to pieces. "Where are you, Caroline?"
The door slams shut and Stefan walks out of the room.
"Stefan?!" Liz exclaims, "What are you doing here?"
"Hey Liz, have you seen your daughter around recently?" he asks walking up to her. She slaps his face, leaving a sharp red mark across his cheek.
"How dare you bring up Caroline? I don't know if this is some sort of sick joke. Get out of my house now!" she shouts at him pointing at the door.
He snarls at her before grabbing her, he pulls her toward him catching her gaze. "Where is Caroline?" he grinds out. Liz blinks vaguely before her eyes roll back and morph to black.
"My daughter died in a car crash last year," Liz replied in monotone. Silas turned away from her furiously punching a hole in the wall and throwing the landscape picture from the wall and tosses it down the hall, screaming in anger. Silas had felt the power surge near town as he had headed to the Salvatore house to collect the little Bennett witch. That was when he knew someone else had killed those witches. He had spotted the desperate hybrid running across town and it had become so obvious. He was so close to the finish, he could almost feel Amara's soft hair running through his fingers and her scent of the lavender she would weave into her braid. It sickened him to think he had the girl in his grasp only hours earlier. Now she was gone and he needed her and the power she harnessed to destroy the veil.
"THAT CLEVER BITCH!" he screams.
He turns back to the sheriff, who was standing still frozen by his unspoken command. "I was never here," he snarls in her face and turns to leave. He hesitates and swivels back on his heel.
"I have a better idea," he muses. "She might have forced you to forget her but she won't forget you," he paces in front of her, snapping the woman's neck with a simple twist of hands.
He smiles at the crumped heap of woman on the floor, "I won't chase you Caroline," he says. "I'll just wait for you to come back. Revenge is the most effective emotion." he wipes his hands on his jeans before walking out the door, carefully closing the door behind him and trotting down the steps cheerfully whistling a tune.
