She looks at her sister, gazes into those eyes she's loved so much all her life, and wants the world to stop. She has the power to stop time, but she can not stop what will happen. This version of her beloved Prue before her, an innocent child who has no inkling of the facts that magic, Witchcraft, and Demons are all too real or that the way she tenderly holds hands with her younger sister when no one else is looking will blossom into a love far greater than either of them could ever imagine in this time, could not give her what she wants, any way.
She could not understand that such things as has happened to Piper, and her own beloved Prue, will come to pass. Her ears should never hear of such horrible things as they have endured. She should never have to face such sorrow as they have or know such pain. She can not know that Piper is her sister, all grown up and still desperately in love with her, the love she shared with the Prue from her world having only grown stronger each day until her passing.
Until her murder. Until Leo chose her instead of saving the one he should have saved. Piper bites her bottom lip to keep from crying and again curses her husband. He should have saved Prue. He shouldn't have sent her here. He shouldn't have told her that any knowledge of the future she gave to this Prue would only hurt her more. And she shouldn't have married him. She should have married the one she truly loved while they still had a chance. She turns away, letting Phoebe deal with what they are allowed to do, and cries.
The End
