Alright so hey, for those of you who have been following me for a while, you'll know that this fanfic went to hell the first time, it was unsalvageable. But this is the revamp, and if you have read my profile you would know I am fixing EVERYTHING. So this is a new revamped story, with what I hope is a good attempt at writing and worth your time, if there are any beta readers out there who would be even slightly interested in this, I would be really happy. So lets begin before I get too carried away.

Prologue
Lucy reluctantly stepped out of the warm bath before grabbing a fluffy white towel and drying herself. She left her bathroom and trudged to her draws to pull out her silky, pink winter pyjama's. She rubbed her cheek against the soft clothes; she smiled before pulling on the expensively comfy outfit.
Her tired muscles screamed at her to go to the bed, located in the corner of her room, under her window, which was open. She sighed, wrapping the towel more tightly, knowing exactly what the open window entailed.
She slouched before moving back into her bathroom, her feet dragging as she walked. She cleaned her pearly white teeth and prepared to drag the lump currently taking residence in her bed.
She dragged herself over to the bed and stood there for a while, did she even feel like a fight? Natsu -the blob of pink hair curled up in her blankets- and herself had gone on a long mission to track down and disband a dark guild. The disbanding had been easy, destroy the guild, and scare the members to death, one of Natsu's specialties as a fire dragon slayer.
It was the tracking that had been difficult, Natsu had complained about everything ranging from his boredom, to the fact that a bug was crawling slightly slower than he wanted it to. Not only had Natsu complained the whole time, she had spent two and a half days in the smouldering heat of the desert, but she had found out that they had been given inaccurate information that was throwing them miles of course.
This had resulted in severe backtracking, and an aggravating extension to an already tedious job. To make things worse Wendy had gotten worried, so she and Charla had come to see if everything was ok, and of course she didn't come alone, no, Gray and Erza came too; resulting in an abundance of arguing, the jobs time slowed by 50% and everything in the vicinity of the dark guild was destroyed resulting in NO rent money.
Lucy sighed, it had not been a good job, it was never a good job when everyone in team Natsu was involved. But, despite all the heat, and complaining, and backtracking, and arguing, and lack of money, it had been fun. Gray had stepped on Natsu's toe so hard he cried, and Natsu burned Gray's fish, so he didn't get to eat anything. Erza had gotten so aggravated at the two she had hit their heads into the ground. She did it so hard it took them half an hour to get them out, they where already extremely late, so what was another hour when it involved all the laughs in the world. Wendy had talked to her nearly the whole trip and Natsu didn't complain nearly as much.
She smiled, as long as they were together, no matter how bad, or hopeless or aggravating a situation is, they'd always get through. Lucy walked to her suitcase and pulled out a photo. She kneeled by her bedside table placing it back into its rightful place. Reemus had drawn it, of Team Natsu. It had been almost impossible to keep still. There was a blue smudge at the top, it was originally Happy, but he kept complaining that his wings were sore and ended up posing in Lucy's arms. Reemus had tried to get rid of the remains of Happy's old position but in the end the smudge seemed to add character.
Gray and Natsu had been at opposite ends of the photo; they had been in the middle but kept arguing and elbowing each other and had to be separated. Natsu had settled with casually slinging an arm around Lucy's shoulder –something she still blushed about- and grinning goofily, his face right next to hers. Gray had settled for crossing his arms on one side of Erza, who had one arm dangling by her side and the other resting on her hip. That had been a good day, and a funny experience, and now she could remember the team wherever she went no matter what happened.
She sighed before standing up and stretching. Her muscles ached and her mind was overused, the fight was definitely not worth it, especially when she knew not that it wouldn't get anywhere, Natsu would still end up sleeping in there and she would have wasted more energy than she already had. She sighed as she she climbed into the bed next to him. She smiled softly; she could lecture him in the morning.
So this is just a VERY short introduction. The long chapters start next so look forward to it.
Also, forgot to mention I have a lovely cover now (I just want you all to look at it and marvel because it took me forever and I had to go back and redo things such as size and posting so many times.) it took a while and a lot of frustration to make.
Also as a side note, I'm nowhere near the uploading standard I wanted to be at so this is just a peak at what it will be like when I start to upload properly. (Also it's holidays and I've actually been really bored so expect that to be soon)
Just a reminder that I am looking for a beta reader so please review or PM me if you're interested.
And thank you to those who haven't quite given up on me yet, and to those who have, well, sorry, I kind of deserved that J. Thanks anyway, and to all of those who are still expressing interest and who are beginning to look at me in a new light, I hope this does not disappoint.
