Hey strangers! I'm so terribly sorry for not updating in absolutely forever :( I know you probably all hate me… I wouldn't blame you. I have some reasons why I didn't update, but I know you probably don't want to hear them; you just want to read my story!

A reviewer told me they thought Oliver was a bit out of character, and I completely agree with you! I just can't master his character, sorry about that!

So, sadly, this is the last chapter for Save Me. I wanted to continue with it but I figured that if I did I would just end up not updating for months, and I don't want to put you guys through that again! I want to thank each and every one of you for all of your support and for sticking with me. I never expected my story to become this popular, and I am extremely grateful to every single person who has read this. Love you guys!

Here is the finale of Save Me.

Disclaimer: I don't own Arrow. If I did, Olicity would be canon!

Oliver didn't hesitate. He grabbed a hold of Chris' shirt and slammed him up against the wall. Oliver pushed his forearm into Chris' neck tightly. "What the hell are you doing here?!" Oliver growled. "I thought I told you to stay away from her."

Chris was trying to speak, to breathe, but he couldn't with Oliver's death grip on his neck. He needed oxygen, and fast. Oliver suppressed his anger, and allowed his grip to loosen slightly. Chris coughed and cleared his throat before speaking. "I'm sorry. I just wanted to make sure she was okay. I needed to see it myself."

"Oliver?" He heard Felicity ask from behind him. "Oh my God, Chris?!" An awkward silence fell between the three of them. Oliver never took his eyes off Chris, who was still struggling against his grip. It was Felicity who spoke first. "Oliver, you can let him go now."

Reluctantly, Oliver released Chris, who immediately started gasping for much needed air. Oliver turned to see Felicity standing in her pajamas, her damp hair falling over her shoulders. She wore a confused, shocked expression on her face.

"Why don't you guys have a seat, and Chris can explain why he decided to show up at my apartment this late at night." Felicity said as she walked over and closed the front door. Thankfully, no neighbours had walked by when the guys had their little confrontation. Chris sat on one of the chairs, while Oliver opted for the couch, still staring daggers at Chris. Felicity sat—very closely—next to Oliver, feeling safe next to him.

Chris cleared his throat awkwardly. "Listen, Felicity. I'm here because I needed to make sure that you were safe, and to apologize for… everything. I don't expect you to forgive me. I just wanted to let you know how truly, deeply sorry I am. I never should have listened to Nick. In fact, I don't know why the hell I did. But after this, you'll never have to see me again, and I mean it this time. You'll never hear a peep from me for as long as you live. I just needed to see that you were alright."

Chris waited on baited breath to see her reaction. "Look, Chris," she spoke, "I don't…I don't hate you. But I don't forgive you either. I am grateful that you helped me escape, but you were still a part of something that will haunt me for the rest of my life. And as much as I appreciate you coming over here to apologize, I would rather not have you anywhere near me right now—or ever again for that matter."

"I understand." Chris stood up as he spoke. He was at the door when he turned and gave her a sad smile. "Take care of yourself, Felicity."

Once the door shut behind him, Oliver and Felicity sat, close to each other, for a while. It was then that they realized that it was over. She was home, safe, and they weren't ever going to hurt her again. Oliver was glad to have her back, and she was glad to be back. All that they had been through was finished.

Oliver silently vowed to never let Felicity get hurt again. He would protect her with his life. If anyone dared to touch a hair on her head, an arrow would be through them faster than you could say 'the hood'. When she was gone, he realized how important she was to him. He loved her; he was just too stubborn to admit it.

He felt her head hit his shoulder, slowly dozing off. He stared at her intently, taking in every beautiful detail of her face. Even with the bruises, she was still the most beautiful woman he had ever laid eyes on. After a minute or two, he gently shook her awake. "Felicity," he said. "Felicity, come on." She stirred slightly. "Felicity, you should get to bed." She mumbled something under her breath that Oliver didn't quite catch. He sighed before scooping her up into his arms and carrying her to her bedroom. He gently laid her on her bed, tucking the covers up to her chin.

He stood up to leave, but she grabbed a handful of his shirt. "No," she mumbled, "Stay."

So he stayed. He crawled under the covers and wrapped an arm around her waist. She curled up into him, clinging to him. As he drifted off to sleep, he thought about how good it felt to hold her again.

Oliver woke to Felicity squirming beside him. He sat up instantly, fearing her safety. He looked to see her fighting off something in her nightmare, while she quietly muttered "No, no please. No." He wrapped his arms around her, stroking her hair, and whispered "You're okay, you're safe. I'm here." She tensed up at first, and then succumbed to sleep once again.

Felicity felt warmth beside her. She snuggled into it, loving the way it made her body tingle. Her head was resting on something hard, yet comfortable. Her eyes snapped open as she realized what that meant. Oliver was still sound asleep beneath her. Her head spun as she realized that she had actually slept with Oliver.

She sat upright so fast it made her head throb. She cringed when she felt a sharp pain in her stomach from the sudden movement, but quickly shook it off. She scooted to the end of the bed and jumped off. She heard Oliver stir, but bolted out the door before he got a chance to say anything. She shut the door behind her and took a deep breath, trying to calm her nerves. Felicity walked to the kitchen and got herself a glass of cold water. She heard footsteps coming her way, and was dreading the upcoming conversation.

Oliver appeared it the doorway, sleep still present in his eyes, wearing the same clothes as the night before. "Hi." He said in a gruff, I'm-still-half-asleep voice.

She nodded at him, pursing her lips. She always seemed to do this when she was nervous.

"How did you sleep? I think you had a nightmare." Oliver said, walking over to the cupboard, grabbing a glass, and pouring himself a cup of water.

Felicity could remember feeling terrified in her sleep, but couldn't recall the exact details of her dream. "Fine, I guess. I don't really remember the nightmare. I kind of forgot everything when I woke up and realized that we had slept together." She paused and sighed, "Ugh, I didn't mean it like that. I mean we slept together, but we didn't sleep together. Not that I wouldn't want to. I just was kind of shocked to find you in my bed this morning. Although, it was kind of nice…" She trailed off when he saw the look he was giving her. He stared at her with amusement in his blue eyes.

"I see you're almost back to normal." He replied, a smirk forming on his lips after listening to her ramble.

Silence filled the air for a few moments before she spoke again, "So, what do you want for breakfast? I can make eggs or toast or something." She started looking through the fridge to see what little food she had. She sighed and mumbled, "I really need to go grocery shopping."

Her face turned red as she heard a chuckle behind her. His hand rested on her shoulder, and his eyes bore into hers. "Felicity, go rest. Watch some TV or something. I'll make breakfast."

Felicity raised her eyebrow at him ever so slightly. "You can cook?"

Oliver smirked. "You spend five years on an island and you pick up a thing or two."

She pursed her lips once again, "Right. The island. That makes sense." She didn't even give him time to reply, as she was already on her way to the couch. She collapsed onto the cushions, sinking into the comfort. She grabbed the remote, turned on the TV, and started flipping through the channels. She finally settled on watching Family Feud.

Oliver was cooking scrambled eggs. As he was cracking the eggs, he heard Felicity shout, "Toothpaste!" from the couch. He laughed and shook his head, deciding it was best not to get involved. When he finished the eggs, he got them both a plate and filled their glasses of water before making his way to the couch and handing Felicity her breakfast. He saw that she was watching some game show.

They ate silently, with Felicity occasionally shouting out answers. They spent the rest of the day like that: sitting on the couch, watching lame game shows, and ignoring their responsibilities. Oliver should be at Verdant and Felicity should be at Queen Consolidated, but he decided they both deserved a day off. Or two.

Before they knew it, night had fallen. They were in the middle of Wheel of Fortune when Felicity fell asleep—even though it was only 7:12—still exhausted from the whole ordeal. Oliver decided not to disturb her until the episode finished. When the time came, he shook her awake, and this time she actually woke. "Felicity, you should get some sleep."

"Hmm?" She mumbled, sitting up. "What?"

"I said you should head to bed."

"Oh, yeah. Okay." She said, rubbing the sleep from her tired eyes.

He looked around before asking, "Do you have any extra blankets or pillows?"

She looked at him, confused. "Why?"

"So I can set up the couch." He replied.

"Oh. You can just, uh, come and… um…" She couldn't form the words in her mouth. She couldn't just invite him into her bed, although he was already there the night before. "Ugh. Just come and sleep in my bed." Her cheeks reddened slightly.

Oliver nodded before they both got up and crawled into bed, Oliver wrapping his arms around her. She snuggled into his chest and they fell asleep instantly, for the second night in a row, both of them grateful for each other.

Oliver woke first that morning. He saw Felicity's sleeping form still snuggled into his chest, and fought the urge to kiss her. She looked so peaceful when she was sleeping, even if she was battered and bruised. Before he could even process what he was doing, he took her face in his hands and planted his lips on hers. Her lips were soft and warm. He felt her wake and she stiffened at first, before melting into him and deepening the kiss. Their mouths intertwined, their tongues danced, their bodies connecting in a way neither expected to ever happen.

When they finally broke apart, both were breathing heavily. "Good morning." Oliver said.

"Good morning to you too," She replied, "This is a really good morning."

He smirked, and she was the one who eventually got up. She walked out of the room without so much as glancing at him, worried that if she took one look at him she wouldn't be able to control herself.

They spent the morning the same as they did yesterday, with Oliver cooking while Felicity watched TV. Once they were finished, they both showered—separately, of course.

Felicity got dressed and threw her hair up into her signature ponytail. She walked out of her room to see Oliver sitting on the couch, still in the same clothes that he came here in. She grabbed her purse and nodded at him, and they made their way to Verdant. He told her that she didn't have to go, but she wanted to. It would be good for her to immerse herself back into her work. It would help her take her mind off things.

When they arrived, they treated it just like any other day. Oliver worked out while Felicity worked at her computers. Diggle showed up and asked her how she was feeling, to which she replied, "Peachy", and left it at that.

Once Oliver was finished with his work out, he left to go cross another name off the list. Before he left, Felicity gave him a quick kiss and told him to be safe, but she wasn't really worried about him. She knew he could handle himself. Diggle gave them a look after the kiss, but she just rolled her eyes and brushed it off.

Felicity got back to work at her computers, missing the feeling of keys beneath her fingertips. She smiled to herself, taking a moment to appreciate the fact that she was back at the lair, safe, and alive. They had all been through a lot in the past few weeks. It wasn't easy, and it took time, but things were finally getting back to normal.

So there you have it! It's done! Finished! Finally!

But seriously, I loved writing this story, and I'm extremely grateful to all of you for sticking with me. I'm going to miss this story. It was so much bigger than I expected it to be! Thank you to each and every one of you.

Although this story is over, my writing days are not! I'm thinking about writing another Arrow fic. I'm thinking about having an OC join the team, but don't worry, it will still contain Olicity! Let me know if you like that idea, or if you have any other story suggestions for me. Ideas are always welcome! I promise I will finish the story before I publish it, that way I won't make you guys wait months for a chapter!

Thank you thank you thank you for all of your support. I love you guys.
