Chapter 10 – Not Human

Bubbles Pov.

"Close, damn it!" I heard Brick yelled, as the rest of us ran down the tunnel.

Once we ran, what seem to be forever, we finally stop to take a breath. With each breath we take, it echoed throughout the tunnel. "What the hell was that thing?" Butch said as he gasped for air.

"For sure, not human." BC said as she sat on the floor.

I can't understand why but I have a bad feeling about this. I don't know what it is but it's something alright. As I got lost in my thoughts, I suddenly heard BC yelled, "Get the hell away from that kid!"

As soon as she said that, my first thought was where was Boomer? I quickly turned around. Once I spotted Boomer, a loud scratch came out from my throat. His legs were hanging off the ground as a dark foggy air surrounded his neck, straggling him. "What's wrong, Big Sister? See something you don't like?" I quickly turned to face the owner of the voice. Cam.

"What the hell is he?" Butch said with disgust venom in his tone.

The black aura that is around Boomer's neck is connected to the dark water that was surrounding Cam. "For sure, I'm not human." Cam laughed.

As his laughed echoed throughout the tunnel, the dark water like fog started to surround the rest of us. As I tried to escape, my feet felt like it stuck in a muddy substance. A numbing feel crept up my body as I realize the tentacle like aura that was around Boomer's neck was now around my neck.

As tears were starting to form in my eyes, I saw Cam averted his eyes to me. He slowly walked to me with his dark orbs drawn to me. His looked changed with each step he took. He was growing taller and older, now he is my height, eye to eye. "Aw, is Big Sister scared?" Cam asked in his now husky tone.

He slowly placed his cold right hand on my cheek, as I continued to sob more tears down my face.

"Don't touch my sister you, fucking monster!" I heard Buttercup yelled behind me as she tried to struggle free.

Ignoring her words, Cam continued to wipe my tears away. "Shh, its ok, Bubbles." Cam said in a cold tone which send shiver down my neck when he called my name.

"Don't touch her!" Buttercups now screaming her lungs out. More tears just kept on coming out of my now closed eyes as Buttercup kept on screaming and Cam just ignoring her.

Cam slowly trances the edge of my face with his cold finger tips. "Humans are so fascinating." He said now tracing the edges of my bottom lips. I could feel my heart quicken as he continue to trance my lips with his cold fingertips.

After tracing my lips, he rests his fingers on my chin and slowly he raised my chin to look him in the eyes, so cold and dark as he made me look into his lifeless orbs. He slowly leaned down as he now eyed my lips once again. I knew what he was about to do yet I can't scream or escape from this darkness. "Stop." I whispered, but he just kept moving down.

"Stop." I whispered again, but nothing changed. Closer and closer his lips has gotten to my lips.

With my now little space between our lips, I finally whispered weakly, "Help." After saying my last word, I closed my eyes tightly.

A second, then another passed by, and nothing happened. I open my eyes to see that Cam has a dark expression on and now on the right side of his cheek was bleeding from the line that looks like a slash from a sharp knife.

"When someone says stop, they mean stop." A familiar cold voice said behind Cam.

One after another slashes were forming on Cam's face. This made Cam to release me and took a step away from me.

After Cam took a step back, I finally saw who was behind Cam. His deep blue eyes were as cold as ice. "I thought you were unconscious or even dead?" Cam slowly turned around to face the emotionless yet cold, Boomer.

"I don't think the word died is word to describe me." Boomer said coldly.

"So Mr. Lonely decided to show his true powers! Goodie goodie, I'm so sacred." Cam started sarcastically but ended up gritting his teeth in the end.

As soon as Cam finished talking, a sharpen piece of ice suddenly formed in front on his face. "Oh I see," Cam said eyeing the ice, "Am I offending you?"

"Shut up." Boomer said under his breath.

"See now you're just mumbling." Cam said with a smirk forming on his lips.

"I said shut the hell up!" As soon as Boomer said that the shard of ice grew bigger, and this time it was big enough to actually kill Cam with one hit to his head.

"So, you're finally angry. I like this side of you better." Cam said grinning.

"Like I said humans are interesting things." Cam continued. He raised his hands up and light touches the piece of ice. Cam's smile grew as continued to play with the tip of the sharp ice.

"Who said… human." Boomer said quietly.

"Really you should stop the mumbling, it's bad for your health." Cam said eyeing Boomer.

"Human, ha," Boomer slowly laughs, "Who said I was human?"

As Boomer laugh continued to grew louder, the place continued to drop in temperature. I continued to breathe slowly as each breath I take a puff of air formed. "Boomer, calm down." I heard Butch chattered his teeth from the cold air surrounding us.

"Calm down? You want me to calm down?" Boomer said now facing his brother with a twisted face.

"Boomer-"Butch tried to continue but was cut off.

"No, no, I think you need to take a chill pill. You need to chill out. Let me help you." Boomer said with a small smile.

"Boomer!" I heard Brick's voice echoed down the tunnel as running footsteps get louder. As soon as Blossom and Brick came to our sight, they were in horror.

"Good to see you guys are here too." Boomer said turning his twisted expression towards them.

"Boomer, stop this." Brick said trying to calm his brother.

"Just stop, we can go home, if you stop this." Brick continued.

"Home? But I'm not finished." Boomer said turning back to Cam, who was now shivering from the cold.

"Yes, we can all go home, but this is unnecessary to finish." Brick said as he tried to get closer to us without getting into the mudding substance.

"Let me finish, then we'll go home. Just this once, I actually want to finish it." Boomer said raising his hands up slowly to level it with the ice shard in front of Cam.

Boomer, don't!" Butch yelled.

"Go ahead, finish me off, ice boy." Cam said through his chattering teeth.

"My pleasure." Boomer said under his breath. With that the piece of the ice shard moved.

It all felt so fast. His brother was yelling at him to stop. And me I wanted to stop everything as well, I closed my eyes shut. I wanted everything to stop. I wish that this were to never happen, that we would start over. If that is you wish, then shall it will be.

As I opened my eyes, I was surrounded by water in the light shade of aqua blue. Surprised at where I was, I didn't even realize that I was actually breathing under water. Something caught my attention as in the corner of my eyes. I turned around to see a figure of a woman but made of water.

Her hair was flowing up and around her head and her eyes, even though they're were clear, I could still tell that she was staring at me. She had fairy-like narrow wings also made of water. "May your wish come true." The water women said and bow to me, before the water around me started to swirl.

The water around swirled and white bubbles forms as the women image slowly disappeared. "Wait." I said, but it was too late and I was thrown into the darkness with on last thing on my mind, who was she?

AuthorNotes: I haven't been updating in forever. SO SORRY! I don't know why but my imagination has not been working out for me lately, but I'll try to get more chapters on as much as possible.
