Hello!

'The Apprentice' is an older fic of mine, and because of my age and lack of my experience, it was not as good as I could have made it. But I still liked it, and I loved writing it, and I missed Aris.

Due to recent inspiration, I decided to revise the five chapters I had up. And while in some places the revisions are very slight, they are very major in others. That, combined with the fact that it's been three whole fricking years since I have updated this, I figured rereading it would be worth it.

And then I kept going, and suddenly this wasn't my old Fic anymore.

That is why I'm completely deleting this story. I want to start anew.

So here's the game plan: I'm putting this AN up for those of you who followed this way back when and are still interested in reading it and receiving updates. I'll leave this up for about a month, and then the whole thing will be deleted.

And then, very soon now, chapter 1 of the new story will be up as well. It is important to note that chapter one was my least revised chapter, though there are still a few minor changes.

The new story will be under the same title.

I just wanted to let those of you who are following this and are still interested in reading that there will be updates soon, just on a new story.
