In Memoriam

Harry stood, with his head down, looking at the spot where his Uncle Vernon was freshly buried. Vernon had died due to complications of a heart surgery. It truly saddened Harry. Vernon was the father figure for most of Harry's childhood. Granted, Vernon was horrible to Harry, he had allowed Harry to stay with him and his family.

Harry stood at Vernon's freshly covered grave for hours. At sunset, Harry's wife, Ginny, came up to her husband and wrapped her arms around him.

"He might not have been the best Uncle, but he at least he gave you a place to stay, Harry" Ginny's voice was quiet when she spoke.

"Yeah," was all Harry had to say.

Ginny walked away after a few minutes. Harry knew he would have to join her sometime. He bent down and place a letter upon the dirt.

The letter said, "Sorry for having post come on Sunday. Harry"

I do not own anything. This is my tribute to the late Richard Girffiths, may he rest in peace.
