It's been exactly a month and a half and all of the casts were extremely tired. Even the demigod daughter of Athena herself has been getting sick and tired of this play. Let's go back to the first days and weeks until we reach the present, shall we?

First Day Of Rehearsal: Tuesday

Percy's P.O.V.

Walking around the school when you are way too early is harder and lonelier than I thought. It's not that I haven't been early even once. It's just that when I'm early, I usually jog around the football court or (most of the time) swim laps in the pool. Yes, I was alone when I did those, but I always had an Ipod with me when I run and I always feel at home in the water.

I guess you're a little confused as to why I was walking around the school so early.

Well, yesterday night, when Annabeth left my house, I got a call. From who? Tristan. Yup! The Kyle Tristan. I was pretty shocked, but c'mon. Would you blame me if I acted rudely? I mean, where did he even get my number. That son of a female dog even had the nerve to be sarcastic when I asked him that.

Anyway, he told me to meet him at the back of the school. When I asked him why, he made another sarcastic comment. Gosh, the nerve, right? Then he became all serious and said that we needed to talk and that that was urgent. I don't know if he said urgent or important, but somewhere on those lines.

So yes, I'm going to meet him.

Oh, and if you're like. 'Why would you meet him if you don't even want to talk to him? You are a Seaweed Brain.' Well, to answer your question, I decided to go with it, because I still have a heart and you never know, maybe our feud would go away and maybe we'd be friends. Also he said that it was important to me to, because it has something to do with Annabeth. Oh, yeah, he also blackmailed me. The nerve?!

"Hey, Jackson." I heard. I sighed and turned around.

"Tristan." I said. He raised a can of… beer? "Is that beer?"

He looked at it and shrugged. "You want one?"

"What the hell, Tristan?!"

"Okay, okay." He said. "No beer."

"What is this 'important' thing you needed to tell me about, anyway?" I said, going straight to the point. "And what does it have to do with Annabeth?"

He sighed and took a shot of his beer. After that he just stared off in space. I then remembered that weird message I got the day when Annabeth and the others auditioned. And then I remembered when I looked at him that day and saw him using his phone. Is that what he's doing now? Is that what this is all about? Is he breaking Ann-

"I actually have to tell you something." He said, breaking my thoughts.

I looked at him. "Yeah, and what it is?"

He crossed his arms and looked at the can in his hands. "Just a warning. I'm not sure if what I'm assuming is real."

I nodded. "And..?"

He looked at me, lazily. "3 things. 1: Stay as far as you can on your leading woman. 2: Be open-minded. And 3: Keep an eye on your girl." With that he turned around and walked away, leaving me stunned on he just said.

"Hey, wait!" I shouted. "What do you mean? About all of that?!" he didn't turn around. "Tristan! Kyle! What-" Then, I got cut off by the bell.

I decided to go to the auditorium after a few minutes. I met Annabeth there and all the others and Mr. Greene just gave us our whole schedule for the whole month. It was all there on the piece of paper. What time we were getting lunch, what classes we still needed to take, what we were going to do for the day, what our projects were…etc.

The first day always isn't hard. But the rest? Well, let's just hope the gods will help.

Second Day Of Rehearsals: Wednesday

Annabeth's P.O.V.

Yesterday was the first day of rehearsals and it was a bit frowning. When I saw the only classes I needed to take, I just felt bad. I mean, I had lots of classes and my role isn't even that important, but somehow, we only have 3-4 classes a day. I mean, how about my grades?

Speaking of roles, I'm going to talk to Mr. Greene about mine today, since I didn't get to talk to him yesterday. I mean, I know I'm not good with acting and all that, but if I'm not and I still needed to go to every freaking session, then why would I get a role that doesn't do anything. I mean, it's a waste of my time. It's really really annoying.

Anyway, we were going to the cafeteria for lunch and we were pretty happy since there's no line for the pizza shack. After our lunch they were going to call on the others who auditioned and got a role.

I heard Macy got in. Though, I didn't see her name when I was looking at the casting. Maybe she was in the Chorus or in the Apothecary.

"Hey, Wise Girl." Percy said, wrapping his arms around me from behind.

"Hi, Seaweed Brain. What's up?" I said, pecking his cheek.

"Uh, I don't know. The sky? Birds? 600th floor to Olympus?" he said, sitting next to me. I laughed. "Hey, I got you a pizza."

"AW, thanks." I said as I took a bite of the pizza.

"'Sup bros!" Zach said, sitting with us. "Hey, guess who's here?" we looked at him as he gestured someone behind us. Before we even got to look behind, Alex and Max came and sat with us.

"'Sup, Perce! Hey, Annabeth!" Max said, smiling widely. I waved my hand, since I was still chewing the glorious taste of cheesy pizza.

"Guys, what are you doing here? You're cutting classes. Isn't that bad for you?" I said once I swallowed. They shrugged.

"We do this all the time, Annabeth. You don't need to worry about us."Alex said.

"Yeah, we're big and macho!" Max said. I rolled my eyes.

"C'mon guys. She's right. What are you doing here.." Percy said. I smiled, but then… "Without Mark?"

"That goofball's too nice to cut class." Zach said, taking a bite of his chicken.

"So we didn't even try." Alex said, taking a fry from Percy.

"Dude. No." Percy said. Alex just shrugged and ate it.

"Well, I think it's wise for him to not skip class." I said.

"Yeah, but-"

"Hey, guys." said Kyle who sat with us, cutting off Zach.

"Oh, I forgot to tell you. I invited Kyle to eat with us." Zach said.

"You what?" Percy asked.

"Yo, Kylo! I see you got fries." Alex said.

Kyle looked down on his lunch and said. "I guess so. And I'm not giving you one."

Alex pouted. "I just wanted to have two lunches in a day. Even just once."

"Yeah, it's nice to do that." Kyle replied. "But not today." Alex huffed and turned to Percy and I as I bit my pizza.

"So, enjoying your Romeo, Juliet?" Max asked.

"I guess?" I answered.

"No." Percy said at the same time.

"I didn't get the role for Juliet." I said, looking at him.

"Okay. Then who—never mind. So Zach's father has this thing in their house and I wanted—blah blah blah" I cut him off and started to think about other stuffs like how I'm going to pass, how Percy's going to pass and what was going on at Camp Half-Blood at that very moment. "—So Do you guys wanna come?" I looked at him.

"Sorry?"

"Do you guys want to come to our house on Friday. After school, of course." Zach said, waiting for an answer.

"Of course, we'll come!" Percy said without any affirmation from me. He looked at me. "Of course, if Annabeth wants to…"

"Whipped." I heard someone say from the table, making the others laugh and Percy glare. I chuckled.

"Yes, it's fine." I smiled. Percy grinned and nodded at his friends.

After lunch break, we went to our classes and since Percy and I had the same class we went together and since we had an assignment that Percy didn't do, we left early and he begged me for my assignment and for once I let him.

We were sitting just outside the room. The class already started and I have absolutely no idea why I'm doing these kinds of things today.

"Percy, make it quick!" I urged.

"Calm down, Wise Girl. It's a little hard, you know? And besides, we have some valid excuse. It's not even the end of our lunch time yet." He said. I blew away a loose strand of hair that had fallen on my face.

"Don't you think I know that? And whose idea is it that we hide just outside of our History class? We could get noticed." I said. We continued to ramble on and on while he was struggling to copy my answers.

"Annabeth…please? You're making it a little hard for me to concentrate." He said not taking his eyes off of my notebook, but I heard the pleading in his voice loud and clear. I guess I was a little bit harsh on him. Even though, I'd love to argue about how he had it coming, I stayed silent. That is, until Kyle and Zach came.

"Hey, you're still not going inside?" Kyle asked.

"Oh yeah, Perce's still copying. Haha, you should be more like me Percy." Zach said with humor in his voice. "I don't do homeworks. I swear, less pain, happier life."

I looked at him. "How did you even get elected in plays and other council activities? Don't you have to have good grades?"

He smiled. "I have connections." I looked at him, scandalously. "I was just joking! Well, I do have connections, but I do study when I need to."

The bell rang, indicating the end of our lunch break. "Guys, would you like keep it down. I'm almost finish." Percy sneered. I snickered while covering my mouth.

"Anyway, we'll be going now. I still have Science and I believe Kyle has homeroom." Zach said. I heard Percy mutter something about someone being a lucky jerk. Hopefully, no one but me heard that.

"'Kay, bye!" I said as I watched them go away and separate when they reached the end of the hall.

"There! I'm done." Percy said. I looked at him and saw his triumphant smile.

"Of course, you are." I said, standing up.

Third Day of Rehearsals: Thursday

Percy's POV

I was still thinking about what Kyle said until I stopped in front of Annabeth's house. Suddenly, I was sweating. Of course, I was. I wasn't even supposed to be here. I didn't even know why I went there in the first place. It's like my hands and feet had minds of their own and decided it would be funny if I made a surprise visit to Annabeth's.

Great. Now what? She's gonna suspect something. Obviously. Ugh. Why do—

"Percy?" I heard Annabeth's voice a bit distant. Shit. I looked at the direction of the voice and saw Annabeth walking slowly to the car.

She knocked on the car window and I rolled it down with a sheepish smile. What now, genius?

"Percy? What are you doing here? Oh! Did we talk about something? Were you going to pick me up? Did we arrange that? Did we? I forgot. Oh my—" I cut her off before she starts hyperventilate (well, not really, but you get the point.).

"No, Annabeth. We didn't arrange for me to pick you up." I smiled at her, naturally. "I just did this on my own." I said as I leaned on the other side kissed her (which was hard since I still had my seatbelt on.) and opened the card door.

She went inside, closed the door, put on her seatbelt and then looked at me with calculating eyes. Cue mental sigh.

I started driving and after a while, it started to get uncomfortable with her still staring at me. I glanced at her. "What?"

"Why did you pick me up?" she asked.

"I just wanted to." I said. Obviously not believable. I heard her huff.

"You don't just plan things, Seaweed Brain. At least, not without me." She said. I glanced at her. Her arms were crossed and she was looking out the window, probably still trying to uncover why I had picked her up. But I saw something in her expression that for years I have been seeing in her face (especially when Rachel wasn't the oracle yet) and have been trying to figure out and now I know (with help with some friends of course). Jealousy.

For the rest of the ride, the car was silent. Me, trying to figure out why she would be jealous. And her, probably still trying to make a conclusion as to why I had picked her up.

When we got to school and I had parked my car, I turned to look at her. Finding her, still deep in thought, I sighed, loudly and annoyingly, I knew she would look at me. Success. I smiled at her.

"Annabeth, let it go, okay? I picked you up, because I wanted to pick you up. Sorry if you had no head start." I said, taking her hand. She smiled, teasingly.

"It's just that you don't usually plan things. Remember our date? It was amazing, but you were really lucky Hermes came. But enough of that, okay? You just, you know? You do things on impulse. It's your thing. I do the thinking and stuff, remember?"She said, confusion evident on her face. I was a bit taken back why she was going on and on about this. Surely, something happened.

"Annabeth, are you okay?" I asked. She looked at me.

"Of course, I am." She said.

I nodded. "Okay, you're right. I don't plan on things. I just do things on impulse. I just feel like I have to. You know that. It's like I just do things. Not because I have no reason, but the opposite. Even though, I don't know that reason. It's just because. And that's what happened this morning. It just happened that I stopped by at your place and I'm sorry for confusing you. It's like I just had to. I had to see you again. I just had to. It's like-like-" I stumbled on a reason that sounds nice. "It's like I'm hardwired to be with you at all times and I don't even a single millisecond hate that impulse thingy that makes me do that. I will never regret being with you and I will never regret stopping by your house this morning to take you to school."

She smiled. "Leave it to you to change my mood, completely." I smiled. She leaned in and gave me a peck on the lips before unlocking her seatbelt. I did the same and looked at her.

"So, what did happen?" I asked again. She sighed.

"I told you. Nothing. I'm fine, Percy." She said. She knows that I'm suspecting something. I know that I should be.

"I'm not that dumb, Annabeth." I said. She smiled, teasingly and raised an eyebrow.

"Percy, just-"

"No."

"Fine."

"Just tell—Fine?"

"Yes, fine. I'll tell you." She said. "If you'll tell me what you were thinking the whole car ride."

I smiled. "I was just thinking about what's the reason behind you going all crazy about a simple car ride."

She smiled. "Okay, I believe you, but you're forgetting that you had a car ride to my house, so what were you thinking then?" I gulped as she smiled triumphantly. Again.

I sighed. Leave it to her to make the outstanding and annoying questions.

"Nothing." I lied. She frowned and went out of the car while saying.

"Leave it to you to change my mood, completely."

I sighed and scrambled to get to her. Of course, locking the car first. I went to hug her from behind, deciding to just leave the previous conversation.

"Sorry?" I said. She glanced at me and I made my eyes do that cute thing that some people call or associate with dogs. Weirdoes.

Annabeth struggled to let a smile hidden, but of course I saw it. I laughed triumphantly.

"Seaweed brain, you don't know how much you look—"

"Cute? Handsome? Say it, Wise Girl." There was the confidence I've been trying to find minutes ago.

"Ridiculous."

I frowned. "Fine. Be like that."

"Aww.." she cooed and kissed me. "C'mon, Percy. I don't wanna be late."

I groaned. "Leave it, Beth. It's HOMEROOM!"

"So?" She said with a challenging tone.

I sighed. "Nothing."

"Good."

I shook my head and let her drag me inside. Leave it to her to change my mind completely.

At lunch, we were getting ready to go to the auditorium. We had different time of sessions every day, so it's hard to keep up.

"So, we're going to get our scripts today, right?" Alice said. I nodded a bit, weirdly. She's one of Sandra's friends, but she's also one of Jess's. I wonder where her loyalty stands to..

We were all sitting in one lunch table. We, meaning, all the six who were casted.

As much to my protests, Zach practically dragged me the way there and Annabeth convinced me that it would be a good chance to get to know the other guys. Still, I wanted to have a lunch with Mark and the others as well.

"I still don't get it, though." Alice said. We all turned our heads to her. I cringed, not because she was looking at me, but beside me, she was staring hard at Annabeth.

I glanced at Annabeth, seeing her shocked as well. I looked back at Alice. "What do you mean?" I said with a hint of protectiveness in my voice.

She looked at me. And then at the others before turning back to Annabeth. "I mean, don't you find it weird? Rosaline? She doesn't have a part in the play!"

"Wait. You've read-or watched Romeo and Juliet?" Kyle, I mean Tristan asked.

Alice blushed a little. "Well, no, I just read the summary."

"Well, I did." Annabeth said. "It got in my mind for almost an hour before I realized that maybe I'd just be like a minor part or something. Like, I might be in a background or something."

Alice nodded. And it seemed the end of the topic. Until Tristan decided to pen his mouth.

"That's most unlikely. Sir Greene never lets students who were picked to be a minor roll." He said. And I would love to disagree, but he was right.

The others seemed to think this over as well. Then, eventually they gave up and decided to just leave it later to Mr. Greene when he gives us the scripts.

Annabeth's POV

After lunch, Percy and I and the others went back to the auditorium, preparing to sit and read for the rest of the day. Not that I minded.

When we got there, Mr. Greene was already sitting in his chair in the front row.

"Sir?" Alice said, getting Mr. Greene's attention.

"Ah, you're here. Please take a seat." Mr. Greene replied. Something was different. Not the obvious smile on his face, but his aura. It was as if he found the cure of cancer and was about to demonstrate the first step. He stood up and went to the stage. "Now all of you, since I am a little bit tipsy, I need you to get the others since we need to get going, time is running, and I need to explain something to all of you."

I sat inside Percy's car still shock.

-FLASHBACK

"Okay, now, let's start the real thing, shall we. For the rest of our first weeks, all of you will be excused from most of your classes. Except for the ones chosen. Chosen students will be excused from all your classes for the first few weeks." Mr. Greene said, smiling at the last part, which got some cheers from Kyle and Percy. Turns out they have something in common.

I rolled my eyes. Boys.

"Hey, Wise Girl." Percy nudged at me. "Do you think, he'll tell us about your role now?"

I shrugged, "Maybe." Honestly, I didn't even think of that. But of course, I won't admit that.

"Okay, so, today, you'll be split into groups and time tables." Mr. Greene said, getting our attention back to him. "Some will be put with the props team and actually help them. Some will start immediately with acting. Some will help me by suggesting more ideas for our plot. And so on and so on.

"But, I know that some of you are aware of some changes. Extra characters, missing ones, and stuff like that, huh?" He said glancing at me with a half smile. "But first, we''l discuss about your characters. Quickly of course. So, I want all of you who plays the following to stand up go there—" He pointed at the corner near the right side of the stage. "And keep quiet until all of you are there."

He then explained the characters like he said he would. Everyone slowly went to the corner one by one until the only person who was sitting was me.

"Annabeth." He said.

I raised my head, trying to look less nervous than I really am. "Rosaline." I corrected him.

He smiled. "You're a smart girl. I know you are. I've seen your records. Absolutely Astounding!" He said. "So, I'm willing to bet my favorite hat that you know more than enough about Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet. Am I right?"

I nodded.

"Good. I loved that hat." He muttered. "Anyway, now, you will not be playing a minor role here like Rosaline originally did. I did some sort of twist. Now that's what will make this play different from others." He turned to the others. "Most plays about this classic tale just focus on Rome and Juliet. Family wars, he meets her in a party, fell in love, forbidden love, they both die, bla bla bla.

"But it always slightly annoys me without you-!" He turned back to me. "-Rosaline. Not much even remembers Rosaline. The girl Romeo's been hooking up with even before the story. Oh no no! No one cares about your broken heart. It's all about the big shots. The ones who the title was named after, right?

"Now, it's gonna be different. Annabeth! You'll play the heartbroken maiden who was left in the dark by your lover who replaced you with a girl he met only once. Oh yeah! Lots of angst here." He exclaimed. "So, let's start."

-END-

So, I was not really happy about being a selfish jealous ex. That is not me. I've never been jealous about things like that! Never ever.

Right?..

Of course! I was protective about Percy, but never was I jealous. No. Nada, uhuh, NO.

"Earth to Annabeth!" I heard Percy's voice say. I snapped my head towards him, which made him move back and hit his head on the car window, making me internally roll my eyes. What a doof. I smiled. My doof.

"So.." He starts.

"Drive." I tell him, with him responding with a quick 'okay' before putting on his seatbelt and start the engine.

THE END OF PART I

AN: ….

Okay. Hi. Greetings, people who are either mad at me or happy that I updated. Hello.

Before you guys throw high heels at me (I got that review once in the early weeks/months of this fanfic), I just want to let you know that..you have the right to do so. Mainly because I didn't update because I was lazy to write. But I did try more than five times I think. I just got bored and forgot about it. Sorry.

And I know this chapter isn't really that good and maybe a bit haste, but I just really wanna get to the good part. So, if there's any way you guys could forgive me, it'd be as blissful as Percy's blue cupcake.

I really do wanna talk to you more about my life and YOUR life and what happened since obviously A LOT happened, but some of you guys probably don't really care about what I say or what happened to me so..yeah this is almost the end of the author's note since I've got some reviews saying that may ANs were too long and stuff like that. So, BUT to everyone who wants to talk to me, you're more than welcome to PM me. I LOVE making friends.

So, normally, sorry for the almost a year wait, wrong grammar since I don't really reread these and I wanna upload this right now, and spelling, and of course if the story/chapter wasn't really good at all. Also sorry if this doesn't really go with the rest since I forgot about the story much and I just continued blind writing so...yeah. Sorry.

See you guys, hopefully sooner than almost a year!

-YM

OKay, so I updated this a while ago, but I forgot to include thanks. And I've never done deleting a chapter before, but I just really have to include you guys. I just have to say thank you so much for your beautiful reviews. Thank you to my internet buddy Ilyana, to Bengsiu (I'm sorry I don't know how to spell your name and I'm too lazy to go back and look. SOrry.), to all the others. To the guests. All of you guys who reviewed. THANK YOU. I want you to know that your reviews weren't in vain. I continued writing because of those awfully nice reviews but like I said I got bored and never finished until now and stuff, so..THANK YOU. SO much. Oh and I really wanna talk to all of you. I love replying to your reviews but I can't sometimes because you don't have an account and stuff so..yeah. SO, in short thank you to everyone. To everyone reads this fanfic, to everyone who followed this story, guys! 300+ of you followed this. THANK YOU. And of course the 200 favorites! THANK YOU! Obviously thank you who reads my story! To the ones who reviews! 3 3 TO the ones who read my awfully long ANs and I did say I'm gonna make this one short and trust me (I'm sorry) this is short for an AN after a year. Seriously. Thank you for everything guys! I LOVE YOU!
