I don't usually do these kinds of things as they are painful to spell out in a way.

Never before have I gotten such feedback on a particular story and so many requests to continue. The thing is though with 'No Kind of Bending' is that I no longer know where to go with it. Before you get all mad and attack me here me out.

The plan was to have all four Dragon Slayers that had been on Tenroujima at the time of Acnologia's attack transported to the Avatar:The Last Airbender world. Premise was simple in that once they helped destroy the Fire Nation everything went back to normal. This was essentially how the story was created.

Piece by piece however I slowly realized that it simply wasn't going to work. The Dragon Slayers are just too powerful.
Had I transported other FT mages I could essentially weaken them by the world not having a suitable amount of Etheriano for them to be able to continuously channel magic into. The Dragon Slayers have no problem with that in that they are able to eat their respectful elements and regain their magic power in that regard (other than Laxus as that one's difficult but not impossible to perform).

So, now looking at the story, I have four overly powerful wizards in the ATLA world, all of them helping to defeat the fire nation. Four isn't even needed, Natsu could do it by himself because, oh let me think about it, THEY CAN'T HURT HIM! In hindsight it was a fun idea but I take no pleasure in writing over powerful characters destroying wave after wave of foe without a single threat coming their way. Who in the ATLA world can even hurt Natsu? I did get some suggestions from a few readers saying that I should send one or more of the antagonists from the Fairy Tail world but that was never the point of the story.

So what does this mean for the story? Essentially I, as the author, hate it. Not in the typical sense but rather that I started such a thing without actually realizing that I wouldn't be able to continue it. I could by all means go on a story where Natsu, Gajeel and Laxus destroy anything and everything that came at them (I'm not including Wendy in that list as it isn't her forte). I know that there are people who enjoy reading stories about God like characters rip the living shit out of everyone in their way, I just don't get joy out of writing it.

So in the end, putting it bluntly, this story is never going to be continued. By all means if somebody wishes to pick it up and finish it by all means go for it (ask me first though please). As for me, I do have another plan for a crossover between the two fandoms including Natsu being a prisoner in the Burning Lake but we'll see if I ever get to that.

I'm sorry if this news is disappointing but every time I try to write more for the story my motivation dies almost instantly. I don't want to force myself to write something I don't enjoy and hence I won't. I apologize for my actions but this is how I feel.

Again, I'm sorry.
