A/N: Ok, so, do y'all remember my last A/N in the last chapter where I wrote that I was probably giving this story one last chapter, and then an epilogue before ending the story outright? Well, I decided to just skip to the epilogue.

What's written below is the last chapter of this story, so thank you all for reading, reviewing, favoriting, and following it for the past few years. Hope you all enjoy!

Chapter 52: Epilogue

Six Months Later

"So, you ready to get back in the ring? You haven't been to work in over half a year now . . . You sure you worked off all the rust in physical therapy?"

"I'm sure Mara. Trust me! I'm in peak fighting form now, and I can't wait to get back in the ring to kick some ass and take some names."

I couldn't help but smile at Randy's confidence, his grin blinding as I snuggled up close to his side. We were currently in our hotel room, together in bed, dressed only in our underwear as the sun peaked in through the window curtains.

We haven't reached the full on sexual portion of our relationship just yet, but we were steadily getting there. We were just putting more of an emphasis on teasing and subtle foreplay at the moment, just figuring out what we were comfortable with and what didn't work. It was funny how frustrated Randy was getting over it in the beginning, but he quickly got into it, especially when I started to come to bed in my underwear all the time.

Who would have thought me coming to bed in just bras and panties would do such wonders for the man's mood huh?

"Well, you do have a big night ahead of you," I mumble as I looked up at the ceiling. "Not only are you making your long awaited return, but you're also going to be the one to answer Ziggler's championship open challenge tonight. I'm sure you can't wait for that."

Cody ended up having a very decent run with the World Heavyweight Championship, holding it for a good four and a half months before losing it to Ziggler during the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view earlier this year. Cody got his rematch at WrestleMania, but ended up losing again to the bleach blonde, mainly due to some craftiness on his end. It was a definite bruise to Cody's ego, especially since it happened on the biggest stage the WWE could possibly offer, but he managed to bounce back in time, mainly thanks to Ted offering to play videogames with him for the rest of the night.

Ziggler has been known as a cheating champion since he won the belt, and what happened at WrestleMania only cemented it. So, in order to change the perception, he initiated the WHC Open Challenge to prove himself as a fighting champion.

Surprisingly, he was actually doing quite well. Every person that answered his challenge ended up getting beat, and unfortunately for the rest of the roster, Dolph's ego was getting even worse because of it. It was inflating his ego to a dangerous degree, and some feared his head was going to get bigger than a blimp before too long.

At this point, everyone was clamoring to fight him, only because they wanted to be the one to say they knocked him down a peg or two. At least a quarter of the roster has faced Ziggler since he enacted the open challenge, and many more were waiting their turn. A couple have even came over from Raw to try their luck. However, Hunter made sure to let everyone know that tonight would be Randy's turn. . .

. . . Well, everyone except Dolph of course. He wanted it to be a surprise, a special one just for his champion.

Besides, Randy was fucking due. He only dropped the belt due to injury after all, so he deserved to earn his title back one way or another. It just happened to be in a way he preferred: In the ring, kicking some ass.

"Oh, I've wanted to teach that blondie a lesson for a long while now, especially after he called me out during SmackDown a week ago," he growled as I felt his lips along my neck. His call out to Randy was something Hunter sneaked into the script, just to give tonight's match some good context. "If he thinks he could call me out like that without facing some backlash, then he has another thing coming!"

"Now that's what I'm talking about." I chuckled as I looked around to find the clock. "Ok, I think we've stayed in bed long enough. We need to get to the arena early today, remember?"

"I remember . . ." I could feel him pouting into my skin as I tried to get up, but of course, he won't let me. "Just give me five more minutes please?"

"If I give you five more minutes, it'll turn into 10 minutes. 10 minutes becomes 20 minutes, so on and so forth."

"So that's a no?"

"That's a definite no!" I tell him as I finally push him off me and escape the bed before he could grab me again. "I'm going to get ready in the bathroom. After me, you must do the same."

"After you, or with you?"

"AFTER!" I yell as I grabbed my clothes and hightailed it to the bathroom, locking the door before the Viper could get any ideas. Once we were both dressed, we checked out of the hotel, got back on the bus, and stopped by McDonald's for a quick late breakfast before finally reaching the arena.

As soon as we were past the security checkpoint, I was glomped by Ted and promptly swung around in a circle while encased in a bear hug. It was a good thing I gave my coffee to Randy to hold because I knew for a fact that it would have spilled, and both Ted and I would get some serious burns if I was still holding it.

"Nice to see you too Ted!" I say once he finally lets me down. "Now then, don't you have someone else to greet?"

"Indeed I do!" he says before both of our gazes find the Viper quickly walking away as if we thought him invisible. "Come back here and take your 'Welcome Back!' hug like a man dammit!"

Randy quickly stared at Ted before putting down my coffee on one of the equipment boxes, and then promptly hauling ass before the scion of the Million Dollar Man could even touch him. Knowing Ted wouldn't stop until he got his hug, I picked up my coffee and went looking for the bloggers' room, which, lucky for me, was right next to catering. Brandon was already there looking at something on his phone, so I knocked on the wall a few times to gain his attention.

"Oh shit! You're back!" he calls with a grin before jogging up to me with his arms outstretched. "How have you and Randy been these past few months?"

"We've never been better my friend!" I say with a chuckle as I return his hug as best as I could. "Randy's currently running away from Ted to escape his welcome back hug, but other than that we've been just peachy."

"You should be, especially since that Cameron bitch is finally in jail."

"You got that right," I say with a smirk as he guides me over to the table. With Cameron attacking me right in the courtroom, the evidence against her became insurmountable and her lawyer ended up convincing her to take a plea deal. She's currently in a nice prison facility outside of Kansas City working off her eight year prison term, passing her time with court ordered therapy sessions and whatever else people end up doing in prisons. "Though I can't help but feel a little bad for her . . ."

"I'm sure Randy disagrees with that sentiment."

"Wholeheartedly," I mumble as I tip my coffee to him. "He'll forever be of the belief that she should have gotten a longer sentence, but the decision has been made, and he can't do a thing about it."

"But still though . . . Why do you feel bad for her?"

"I don't know . . . I guess that, well, I've seen her go from the shallow blonde I first met, to a whole new obsessive extreme that was just not healthy for everyone involved. I watched her decline every time I saw her, and it was just shocking to me I guess." I mumble as I hear Randy's shouting from down the hall. We both ended up turning our heads to see John and Ted hugging Randy in between them as Cody chuckled from right behind them.

For crying out loud, they weren't even letting him touch his feet to the ground!

"Umm guys? Do you mind letting my boyfriend down before he RKOs all your asses?" I ask as I watch the Viper give the two death glares.

"We're not scared Mara." says John.

"Besides, we all know Randy reserved his first RKO since being on the disabled list for Ziggler." adds Ted as the two finally let him go.

"That doesn't mean I don't have other RKOs in store for you guys!" he grumbled as looked at the two. "Cody, you're getting one as well!"

"I wasn't the one that hugged you like you were one of those gigantic teddy bears you sometimes see in stores!"

"You laughed! That's enough for me!" Randy argues before turning back my way. "Anyway, getting reacquainted I see?"

"Oh yeah; Brandon and I were just catching up when you were carried in here," I mumble as I get back on my feet. "And now that you're here, we can finally go find Hunter to go over what's in store for tonight. Let's go!"

"Fine!" I hear him say as I walked into the hallway. When I turned around, Randy was still giving everyone inside death glares. "This is not over!"

After meeting up with Hunter to go over tonight's plans, we spent the afternoon getting reacquainted with the rest of the roster, well, I did. Randy was content to hang in the background while I talked, only speaking up when we ended up meeting up with the guys he knew more on a personal level. We didn't have to worry about Dolph spotting him throughout the day, mainly because he gained the habit of arriving a half hour before show time ever since he became champion.

When it was five minutes before the start of SmackDown, I was sitting in Randy's personal locker room - a gift from Hunter to keep up with tonight's 'surprise' - as Randy was doing a few last minute stretches. Ziggler was opening the show tonight for another round of his open challenge, so Randy had to quickly get to the curtain before he missed his cue.

"You're gonna have to leave soon." I say with a pout as I readied my blog page.

"As soon as Ziggler is heading to the ring, to be precise," he tells me with a smirk as he finished his last pull-up. He drops from the doorway, his signature smirk already there to greet me as he leaned in for a kiss. "I won't be long now, and I do plan on bringing a certain something with me when I come back."

"You promise?" I ask as the familiar opening credits sequence appeared on screen.

"I promise . . ." he leaves me with one last kiss before picking up his new hoodie - a new edition that would be hitting the online store as soon as the episode ends - and exiting the room. I watched the screen with a keen eye as "Here to Show the World" blared through the arena speakers. Dolph was a lot more brunette than bleached blonde these days, but other than that, nothing else has changed since the last time we were in the same vicinity.

After grabbing a microphone and entering the ring, the Showoff smirked and started droning on and on about how good he was and how he was proving all the doubters wrong with every challenge win he earned, which I had to admit, he wasn't wrong there. Once he was done his long-winded diatribe, he turned to face the ramp with a cocky grin.

"Alright! Now who out there in the back wants to try their luck tonight!?" he exclaimed cockily. "Who wants to face the Showoff!? Who thinks they can beat me?!

Three . . . two . . . one

I hear voices in my head

They council me, they understand

They talk to me

Somehow, the arena's roof didn't collapse in on itself due to all the shouts, screams, and yells that erupted from the WWE Universe once Randy's music finally hit. I couldn't help myself when I busted out laughing and Dolph's horrified expression when he saw my beau emerge from behind the curtain, a rare grin for his persona plastered all across his face as he soaked in the love from the adoring public.

"It's good to be back." I see him mouth as he looked around the arena before training his sights on Dolph, his steely gaze now in place.

"Yeah . . ." I mumble, typing furiously with a grin on my face as I watched my man slowly walk down the ramp. "It's good to be back indeed."

A/N: And that's the end of My Prince Charming! I'm sure some of you were hoping for a little more, but I think it was time to finally put this story to bed. I hope you all enjoyed it, and thank you all for sticking with it for so long.

Now then, on to my other stories. Sandsnakequeen out!
