She walked out of the hospital on shaky legs inching forward at a very slow pace. Sasuke stood beside her, his arm in hers as the headed to what she assumed to be her place. Her mind was having a difficult time believing the news she had heard just moments ago. 'Tenten, You're pregnant.' It hadn't really sunken in. She wanted to know how it had happened so soon. Shock, disappointment, and shame were swiftly overtaking her. She knew without a doubt Guy sensei would be mortified and ashamed that she was his student. Neji was already extremely angry and disappointed that she hadn't taken precautionary measures before giving herself to anyone, and Lee would most likely have a heart attack. Her brown eyes fixated on the ground, watching her sandaled feet take one step after another. 'What am I going to do? How could this have happened? I don't even know that I would be a good parent!' Her mind was flooded with fears of failure and doubt. Thoughts whirled around the back of her mind like a thick black hurricane of destruction and misery. 'This should be a happy time, women usually glow with excitement for these things, why am I so upset?.'
"Tenten."
'How will I explain this to Lee and Guy, what will they say?! They're going to hate me.'
"Tenten."
'I don't know what I'm going to do. I don't even know how Sasuke feels about this. He hasn't said a word since we've left. He's probably angry and upset...'
"Tenten." Sasuke said loudly as he stopped dead in his tracks and grabbed Tenten's hand. She was still walking ahead, and seemed as though she could not hear him. He was extremely concerned for her well being. He hadn't seen her act this way in a long time, and it frightened him. The news had also shocked him quite a bit. They had only shared a few nights of intimacy together and he hadn't expected something of this nature to happen so soon. However, he couldn't say he was completely disappointed. In about eight months there would be a new Uchiha in the world and this was good news for him. He was scared, and he would be the first to admit that they were both under prepared. A large part of him had felt guilty for the whole situation. What Neji had told him earlier about taking away everything she aspired to be in life really stuck with him, despite the front he displayed so coolly. But this was not the time for him to be having any doubts. It happened and there was no going back now, and from the looks of it, the girl he loved needed a lot more reassurance than he did at the moment.
She stopped upon feeling his hand gently wrapped around her wrist, pulling her back as an anchor while she tried to step forward. Tenten turned to face Sasuke slowly, her eyes large and watery searching for any type of comfort in his own eyes. She gasped a little when she felt him pull her close to him. He looked down at her as his arms wrapped around her waist. Tenten looked up at him as well, tears threatening to fall from her eyes at any given moment. She was afraid he would speak, it may trigger the tears that she didn't know would ever stop. 'What's he about to say? Please... Please don't leave me.' She plead in her mind, too fragile to even make a peep.
"It's gonna be okay." He said, quietly and with simplicity. He gave her a small smile and wiped a stray tear that fell from the corner of her left eye. "I know you're really scared."
"I..." She squeaked.
Sasuke shook his head in disapproval. He knew she couldn't speak and he wasn't finished saying what he wanted to say. "Tenten, I'm sorry. I know that this probably isn't what you want, but I promise that no matter what, we're gonna get through it." He said softly.
Tenten suddenly let out a small giggle, which shocked them both. Their reactions to this news were opposite of any typical couple. Normally the woman was exited and coaching the man through the petrifying news. And the man, well he normally went into shock. She smiled knowing they really weren't a typical couple, but also, she knew Sasuke was right. It comforted her to know he had no intentions of leaving her side. "Thank you, Sasuke." She said finally taking a few normal breaths.
Sasuke pulled her into a hug and rested his head on her shoulder. "Let's go home."

Tenten emerged from the shower feeling a bit refreshed. She grabbed a clean towel from the hanger on the door and began to wrap herself in it. Looking down she placed a hand on her stomach and sighed quietly to herself. She knew she was in store for quite the new journey. It was time to start figuring ways to break the news to Lee and Guy. Tsunade had forbidden her from any type of training, running, sprinting, jogging, missions, and she could only use weapons when there was supervision. Tsunade knew that coming from team Guy, Tenten generally took things to the extreme, meaning there was no moderation on things, so training was out of the question for the duration of her pregnancy. She realized she was going to be extremely bored, and she had better pick up a non-lethal hobby of some sort.
Tucking the edges of her towel in, she stepped out of the bathroom and walked down the hallway toward her room. Upon stepping out, she could smell something delicious coming from the kitchen, so she turned around and quickly made her way in the opposite direction. She stopped in the doorway and smiled at the sight. Sasuke was standing in font of the stove cooking what seemed to be pan cakes.
Sasuke had sensed her presence immediately and smiled to himself. "Hungry?" He asked, still focused on his task.
Tenten took a few steps into the kitchen. "Mhm. I am." She replied. "But why are you making pan cakes this late?"
Sasuke looked over his shoulder and smirked. "Who says pan cakes are only a breakfast food?" He asked. "By the way you look good in that towel."
Tenten blushed. She must've been so hungry she had forgotten how she was dressed. "I'm gonna go change." She said turning around and heading toward her room once more.
Sasuke smirked again and turned off the burner to the stove, carefully placed the pan cakes on a plate and followed her to her room.
Tenten was unwrapping her towel standing with her back facing Sasuke. She looked over her shoulder at him and gave him a shy smile along with a faint blush. Sasuke returned her smile and approached her quickly, wrapping his arms around her from behind and holding her close.
"Tenten." He whispered as he lightly kissed her neck.
She shivered a bit and the blush on her face was now evident. "Y-Yes?" She answered back.
"I love you."
"I love you too." She whispered in reply.
Swiftly, Sasuke took her towel and turned her to face him. Tenten gasped and looked up at him. He then knelt down and kissed her bare stomach and his lips lingered there for a moment. Tenten blushed even more and placed a hand atop his head softly. Sasuke looked up at her blushing a bit himself and smiled. "It's a new beginning."
