I'm baaaack! And I am soo excited to start writing again because I have progressed with my skills since last time I wrote so I'm also going to update and fix the chapters I have already wrote and I'm going to add in a lot more details in hopes of more views ;)
Katniss' P.O.V
All the girls and I are sitting around the small room on various chair and and couches anticipating the date card that is soon to come.
"So" Annie broke the silence trying to break the tension in the room "Who do you think is going to get the date card?"
"Its hard to say" Madge cut in "I mean it's the first date. It will probably be someone he wants to get to know better that he thinks he may have had a connection with but didn't really get to talk to them."
"I think it will be you, Madge" Glimmer adds in "I mean I want the date more than anything but he seemed interested in you" She plastered a fake smile on her face.
"Oh I don't think so Glimmer, I mean he seemed like he liked you too" Madge blushes. Glimmer sits back against the back of the chair faking a look of shock but you can see the smirk resting on her face.
"please" Johanna scoffed "He probably saved her for more views"
"Then that means people wanna watch me" Glimmer smirks. I can feel myself getting angrier and angrier as she talks. I didn't wanna be the type of girl to start drama but is she really gonna act like this?
"Are you even here for love Glimmer, It seems like your hear more for the fame" I accuse
"Oh little Katniss, I am here for love but I don't even have to try to get fans they will love me regardless"
"Whatever" I roll my eyes at her ridiculousness
Just when Johanna opened her mouth to talk the doorbell cut her off.
"Ooh the date card is here" Annie quickly said not wanting anymore fighting. We all stayed quiet listening to the patter of her feet hitting the ground as she walked to the door to collect the date card. She made her way back in to the sitting area.
" its a one-on-one date card" Annie announced. She slowly started to open the card
"Annie please hurry I'm dying of curiosity" Madge blurted. Everyone turned their necks to look at her. " Sorry, I meant take your time" she blushed. I nudged her and started laughing which made her blush more.
"It says" Annie drug out pulling the card out of the envelope.
"Madge" At the sound of her name she perks up. "Lets get into the swing of things"
"Wow, I wasn't expecting that" she breathes out "What do you think the hint means he said 'swing' does that mean the park or something along those lines?"
"I honestly have no clue" I sigh. I was kind of disappointed that I wasn't picked for the one on one because I think me and Peeta got along pretty well last night.
"Well I'm gonna go get ready and I will see you girls later" Madge skips off towards the bedrooms so she can get her self ready before her big date.
Peeta's P.O.V
I look in the car mirror one more time running my fingers through my hair making sure it looked good for my date with Madge. I decided to chose her for this date today because I felt like I had a good talk with her but she was holding back a little.
As I close the mirror I see Madge skipping out of the house. I quickly climb out of the car and greet her
"hi" she says happily pulling me into a hug. I wrap my arms around her waist and smile
"You ready to go?" I ask her
"definitely" I open the door for her and she climbs in. I quickly jog to the other side and slide into the car.
"So what are we doing today?" she asks curiously.
"Its a surprise" I smile like a little kid and look over at her. She throws a small smile my way too. The rest of the car ride is filled with random conversations about things we enjoy.
I pull into the small parking lot and turn of the car. I climb out and jog over to her door so I can let her out. She slides out of the car smoothly and adjusts her shirt she is wearing.
"Today we are going batting" I announce pulling a baseball out from behind me.
"Oh no" She laughs " I'm probably gonna die, just a warning."
Our day consisted of hitting some baseballs at the batting cages and a lot of laughter. I really hit it off with Madge to be honest. Now we are sitting at the end of dinner and her eyes keep lingering on the rose that is sitting on the table.
"So" I break the silence and her head snaps up to me " I can tell this rose is bugging you, So I'm going to go ahead and tell you if your getting it"
I reach over and grab the rose off the table
"Madge, today I had a great day with you, I really fun day with you and I wanna keep you around and see what the future dates bring so, Madge will you please except this rose?"
"Of course I will" She smiles like a little kid in a candy store
We finished dinner and I had a great time with her today but at some point the date had to en
We arrived back at the house the girls are staying at and I walked her up to the door
"I really had and amazing day today Madge" I tell her and she looks at her feet and blushes
"I did too Peeta" She wraps her arms around my neck and pulls me in for a hug. I wrap my arms tightly around her waist. She pulls away and plants a small kiss on my cheek.
"Have a good night Peeta" She smiles then turns around taking one more glance at me than walks inside
I honestly cant wait to get to know more of the girls and to go through this amazing journey because I have a feeling I can find my wife in this group of girls and for some reason as I walk away, the thought of Katniss floats in the back of my mind.
A:n/ I hope you guys enjoyed this chapter. It took me an hour and 45 mins to write and edit but im pretty happy with it. I promise next chapter will have more katniss and peeta
