Punk's Demon

-Epilouge-

Punk had turned face and Kyra was fully with The Shield now. The five continued to go after each other until creative decided to end the run of The Shield.

"Kyra, you are not choosing who you are working with," Brad Maddox started. "Instead, Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, and Dean Ambrose will face each other in a no disqualification triple threat match. The winner will get you as their valet."

Kyra rolled her eyes for the cameras. She likes Brad when he's not working his character; but hated his 'perfect' persona when the cameras are on. When she left the ring, she was met with the strong arms of Jon.

"We're going to have fun," he smiled.

"There's still a chance that Seth will win," she stated.

"You want to work with Colby?"

"Maybe." Kyra turned in his arms and smiled up at him. "Just joking. I wouldn't live if I worked with a face."

"You'll keep me grounded when I'm done being Dean Ambrose with the dark personality of Jon Moxley."

"Good," she smiled.

"Kyra."

Punk stood a few feet away from the couple. He hated how things ended between himself and the woman. He once loved Kyra; love the fun that she brought into his life.

She looked over at Punk and gripped Jon's wrist. He was preparing to attack the other wrestler until Kyra touched his wrist. He left the area when she nodded silently.

"I'm willing to listen if you have something to say," she stated quietly.

"Now that we're done fighting each other, I wanted to tell you that I'm sorry for everything that had happened."

Kyra nodded.

"The whole Amy thing exploded way too far and too fast. I never told her that I hated working with you. Hell, I loved working with you. It was always so much fun when you and I walked down to the ring and traveled from city to city."

"It was a lot of fun."

"And that promo where you slapped me, it was scripted from the start. I assumed that Creative would have told you. But then you walked out and slapped me. I'm sorry."

"I didn't let you get a word in after everything happened in that ring. Hell, I wanted to quit that night. Rumors be damned."

Punk stood there and looked at the woman he had worked with for four months.

"Now, you're going to work with Jon and have the fun that we had. Maybe even more fun."

"What do you mean?" she asked.

"You and Jon are good together. Jon protects you more than I ever did; and I'm sorry about that. Don't close off from him if things get difficult. And pull him back if he pulls away. I believe that is where we failed."

"Thanks, Punk." She stepped closer to him and lightly wrapped her arms around his midsection, giving him a hug.

"Have fun."

"You too."

"So, what did he want?" Jon asked stifly.

"He was just apologizing for everything that happened."

"No harsh words?"

"None." Kyra wrapped her arms around his neck, standing on her toes just to close their six inches of height difference. "He did say something that didn't involve our past fights."

"What would that be?" he question while gently grabbing her waist.

"That you and I are good for each other."

"I'm kinda surprised with that."

"He gave the advice to never let the other pull away. That where he and I had failed around Mania. I pulled away with worry, and he pulled away after losing."

"Well then. I guess that I swear to you that I will never let myself pull away from you. This means that I will strap you to my back and we'll wrestle any opponent that comes around."

Kyra smiled at Jon and kissed his lips.

"No way in hell am I getting strapped to your back while you're in Jon Moxley mode."

"It'll be fun," he smiled, raising his eyebrows.

"Still, no."

Jon smiled and kissed Kyra once more before they headed to Gorilla where they met up with the other two former members of Shield.

There.

That's it.

It's done. Hopefully that wraps things nicely. If any of you don't like this, tell me (but that doesn't mean I'm going to change it). It's been a nice run. Now give me a few weeks to work out the lastest kinks in my next story.

Happy reading, happy dreaming.
